It gets the job done. My main problem was my long hair!!! So... tried the Neato. It grabbed every hair without a problem. No tangling. It gets over chords or little obstable it will encounter. Never had a problem of it getting stuck in an area or even dark areas. Its a pretty smart robot. But I returned mine. Not because of the product but my 2 yr old is frightened. He is scared for his dear life. He couldnt walk around the house or even stay in the shower for a bit. The sound is still loud but its a vaccuum. What can you expect. Everyday I wish I still have Neato :(

We recently upgraded to this product from the Neato D80. Installation was quick and easy and the bot app is easy to manage and straight forward. I like that this product included premium filters because we have a dog and i have severe allergies and premium filters are a must. Great cleaning and battery will last for the entire cleaning of my home.

I think this is a very good robotic vacuum. I wish I had bought one sooner. I almost went with the Samsung R7070 because the self cleaning roller, this one you have to remove the roller like most traditional vac but no tool are required. Laser navigation is awesome. There’s no real reason to pay extra for the D6 or D7 because the latest software update give the D5 almost all the same options/no go lines etc. The D6, D7 have slightly better battery life which is mute because it will stop and return to base recharge and continue where left off if your home is extremely large. I got this on sale over X-mas for$349 and at this price it’s 5 stars. At retail price maybe not. Self cleaning brush would make this 5 stars. For now 4 star until Neato helps us with that, especially if you have long dog hair or women’s weave in your home.

This is so amazing. The D5 gets corners,under beds, rugs, title and hard wood floors. Set a timer and let it go twice a day.. picks up our dog hair so well. Love the D5!! Thank you so much for the staff at best buy.. I almost bought a Roomba but the sales associate bought one and returned his for this because the D5 suction is better!!

I bought this on a whim and couldn't be happier with this purchase. We have hardwood floors throughout the downstairs and this vacuum cleans the whole floor on one charge in about 1.5 hours. Our Dyson cordless V8 unit doesn't come close (though, it is handy For quick pick ups and stairs). As for the Neato D5 Connected, I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

I’ve used this machine for over a month now and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations. Of course it doesn’t have the suction or the capacity of a full-sized vacuum, but it is very capable of for regular maintenance cleanings and it still collects lots of stuff. Also, the convenience of programming a cleaning run, marking zones and triggering a clean remotely is so welcome. However, being a robot vacuum it has its limitations: 1) The battery life. This has sufficient juice if you live in an apartment but will definitely need a recharge if you live in a sizable house and the recharging is slow 2) the brush will occasionally get tangled on loose debris (like long strands) and call for help 3) parts, like filter and brush, will need to be replaced periodically.

I got this as a gift for my mother. Rosie (mom picked name) works great. Easy to program and use. It even leaves the brush marks on the carpet. It is also very quit for a vacuum cleaner.

This is the second edition of the neato I have bought. It’s not as consistent like the first generation, but having the side brush has made a huge difference. It does get stuck everyday, even with nothing on the floor. Where the first gen made it through no matter what.i’d go Mad without this little guy though...even though he drives me bonkers with how often it gets stuck.

We have hardwood and carpet in our house. This product does a great job cleaning both. I would definitely recommend buying it!

I have used it for a week and I am loving it. It is doing a great job so far. and picking up everything it is supposed to.

This machine does a great job of finding dirt that most of us don't think is even there. It's TREMENDOUSLY smarter and more efficient than basic Roomba's because it doesn't just bounce aimlessly around the room. The only feature that I wish it had is the ability to drive it around the floor or draw a target area to clean. Ultimately I'd bet the unit is smart enough, but that's what differentiates it from the D7. Only other issue I've found is that my wife has long hair...I've been surprised how much it finds and I have to remove the brush every couple cleanings upstairs to pull hair out. This may subside after a few cleanings, but I still LOVE the smart, efficient, and reasonably quiet product that I bought.

We chose this model because of its ability to get in corners better. It was easy to set up and does an amazing job.

This vacuum is great for daily maintenance. I really like the virtual no-go lines. It provides a map of what it cleaned each time it finishes. This model seems quieter than my previous Neato, and it has a higher dirt capacity and battery life. This is a must have if you have dogs.

This vacbot does a great job. Over the course of several uses the vac learns the area and then follows that pattern. Actually fun to watch it learn the cleaning area. We have it scheduled to run at night. Get up the next day to a vacuumed house. Sends message if it needs the bin emptied or gets stuck

I would have given a five except for some issues with the app which are fixable in future app update. The vacuum cleans great and covers the corners amazing and also can cross over the 2 inch pipe easily. All the features are great except few app issues which can be easily fixed in next app release Few features missing from the App/Voice I hope they can add directing the neato to a particular spot like a guided run. Enable guided lines cleaning from alexa The mapping function requires me to do a remapping, however due to few things around my home I cannot do a full run. Kind of missing the point on the guide lines if I cant do it without whole home remapping

I am happy with my purchase so far. I am pleased with the suction, and size of the dust bin. I am also very pleased that the spinner brush is easily removable for hair removal. It does get caught sometimes, once on a blanket hanging off the edge of the couch and then under the lip of the fridge, but it does get itself out of the stuck position sometimes. The only issue I have had is with pet food bowls, it does not see them and tends to push them around. Either I need to buy food bowls it can see OR put that boundary tape down that looks bad, until then I pick them up each cleaning. Other than that I am very pleased with the easy setup and operation. Love the app, I wish it came with coverage maps too!

Does a great job on carpet and hard floors. Smart enough to not run around bumping into everything and the app that shows me the complete mapping it did is great. Easy to use via phone or voice with google assistant. Will be getting a second one for upstairs.

My Neato does a great job of cleaning, especially compared to my old Roomba. The Neato vacuums throw rugs. It doesn't just push them around. And the Neato doesn't just stop under the middle of my king-sized bed the way the Roomba did. I'm very happy with it.

Easy to set up and cleans pretty well. Using it with Alexa, the only problem is it likes to go under the TV stand and get stuck there, other then that it's a great product.
