    Fun toy, but it is a bit heavy for a child (under 8-9). Also, the D batteries do not last long so plan on spending a fortune on replacements. Cool idea, but not executed very well.

    Nerd released this line to seemingly much fan fare but those prices were a bit much for a toy that requires a bunch of D batteries. I’d think they would add a rechargeable battery pack or something to make it lighter perhaps.

    It took me a few hours to get this thing working. It wasn't very clear to me that batteries were required. Then, I find out it requires the largest ones - which I was out of.

    I bought this in the clearance part. It stated that it was in excellent condition. Bull. First thing the Ammo/Balls where not all there. I put brand new Batteries in then fired it. not one of the ball's made it past two feet. whoever took this back did not check it out the operation of it. I did not know that it was a returned Nerf gun. so I returned to my store that I go to. I can not say if a new one is any good or not.
