The Nepresso-Vetuo Pop_Coffee and Espresso Maker is a nice little machine to brew different types of expressos and coffee. Please note that each pods can brew from about 1.7 ounces up to 5.7 ounces of coffee. I tried espressos and coffee. My favorite coffee was the Ethiopian one. It had a fresh and crisp taste. I like has the machine makes a frothy top when brewing. Please note when inserting the pod, to place it in the locked position and only press the coffee brewing once. If you press it more than once this can cause the number of ounces to get confused. I experienced this through process of learning, but learned how to reset the machine back to its normal settings. Please learn from me. lol What I like about the machine is that once you release the level the pod drops into a little compartment to store the pod. You could possibly store a few of these for a bit, in case your the type of person that recycle coffee pods. In addition the clean up is very easy. I like that there are a variety of flavors to choose from. Overall I like the machine and the customer service is great.

A minimal footprint espresso-style coffee maker

My day begins with coffee and sometimes when I can break away to make another cup from my traditional coffee maker. Now, a double espresso is but a mere seat-turn away. Some quick highlights here then more details below. Good: Size / footprint Selection of pods Includes 12 pods Pod catching mechanism Bad: Gold colored accents Tough to find pods bigger than 7.7oz Blocked from 3rd party Meh: Noise Power draw I have to say, the gold trim isn’t very attractive and if I had to do it again, I’d have gone with the alternative style. With an included selection of pods (one is decaf), I was able to get a good feel for the different varieties of coffee-style drinks it can make. Single espresso shots (~1oz), double espresso (~2oz), Gran Lugo (~6oz) and some roughly 8 ounce cups were what I was working with. I did try to get larger capacity pods (the 12oz ones) but it seems limited as this is geared more towards smaller, espresso-style drinks. In looking around, it seems like the pods are locked to certain manufacturers, which does raise the cost per cup. It’s a hefty unit even without the water chamber full - as it is around 8lbs. The water chamber snaps on/off and holds somewhere around 40oz (37oz the docs say) of water. Now, I’ve never used one of these makers before and have used other “pod” or “cup” systems which took little effort on load. I found the closing and turning of the locking mechanism almost require two hands to use, vs others that have a single pushdown. The unit heats up quickly and starts making coffee equally as quickly. During this heat up, it draws a significant amount of power and causes my lights to flicker in my office and tripped my solar generator - that handles up to 800W. I wish I had more pods left - else I’d use my kill-a-watt to see how much it really does draw at peak. When I was done and lifted the lid, the pod was lifted up and slid down a ramp where it landed in a waste catcher. I’d say it can hold around 6-8 pods depending on size before you really have to empty it. It’s double layered so that drips will go into the bottom layer allowing the pods to dry and not sit in a puddle. The coffee itself was good. Strong but not too strong. Cappuccino style foam made it seem almost coffee shop-like. There do seem to be a number of flavors and styles, so the options are almost limitless. Outside of the Black/Gold color scheme, I don’t have any complaints about this machine and recommend it to coffee drinkers that do tend to drink espresso and those sorts of drinks.

I have this at work, it makes coffees like Starbucks. My complaints are that pods are $1.25, and I wish you would tell me when it needs to clean itself or descale, and then walk me through it, cause I have to look on the Internet and I think it takes like 15 minutes

Why I Love My Nespresso Machine

My Nespresso machine has completely transformed my coffee game — it’s one of my favorite parts of the day now! Whether I’m craving a smooth latte or experimenting with fun flavored coffees, it delivers every time with barista-level quality at home. The convenience is unbeatable — just pop in a capsule, and within seconds I’ve got a rich, aromatic coffee with that perfect crema on top. I especially love trying different flavor pods — vanilla, caramel, hazelnut — they make my morning feel like a cozy little café experience. Making lattes is a breeze too. I use the frother to get that creamy milk texture, and it pairs so well with the espresso base. It’s fun, easy, and always delicious. If you enjoy great coffee with zero hassle and a little creativity, a Nespresso machine is absolutely worth it. I honestly don’t know how I went so long without one.

I love it! Super easy to use. I got it in matte black and it’s so nice! Love the gold trim on it as well. Still perfecting on how to make my latte how Starbucks does, but it’s getting there!
