Google's range extender is a must for every household. Works well with a house that has mulitiple room. Easy to set up, virtually set up and forget. Awesome speaker. Create a mesh network with this bad boy and you'll good coverage all around the house with instant speakers everywhere.

We have replaced our Alexa with Google. We converted to Nest Wifi earlier this year and have been adding point range extenders throughout the house one room at a time. We can now walk around the entire ground level and not skip a beat to any music that is playing. Our grandson has also been adding smart lighting throughout the home and we can turn on lights from any room with our Nest extenders. Will definitely be purchasing more extenders to go upstairs.

Really works great if you have a large area to cover with your wifi.

I bought this as an additional wifi point bringing my total to 2 in my home. This went in the back bedroom of our house to extend the wifi better to that room as well as the Nest Cam on our back patio. It does the job just fine! Sometimes the wifi point will drop connection maybe once a so every 6-8 weeks. Power cycling it fixes it but my other point does the same from time to time so I think it could also be a update or just a nice reminder to restart my wifi network since you should do it frequently lol. It does reconnect right away though. Deducted a star for that but that is it.

These little guys have made internet access amazing for my family around my home! Don’t need additional username and passwords for different routers! Easy to setup!

I luv my mesh system it works great. Some do not like it and others do. This system is easy to work if you are tech savvy not so much if your not but it is definitely easier then most systems plug and play for the simple individual if you only want internet but if need to make adjustments that is where it can get tricky. with that said though if you are willing to learn then you get a great product over all it's a good setup and does a great job with linking and expanding your system as the addons are great.. Definitely recommend...

I'm not a tech savvy person whatsoever. When I asked my buddy what would be the best way to extend my WiFi coverage, he suggested this. First of all the WiFi app is so simple to use making the setup super easy. Now or wifi reaches all corner of the house and there's no drop in strength anywhere I go. I didn't know it was also a speaker, I actually have a Google home next to it, so I was worried about the to speakers picking up the same commands. Luckily there's a mute button that will stop the WiFi point from picking up voice commands. I'm very happy.

Recently moved to a single floor home with a lot of walls so needed something that already connected to my Nest Wifi Router. I liked these because they double as a Google home while increasing the coverage of my wifi. I placed the router in the middle and have an add on point on the east and west sides of the house. Although the speed isn't as fast as the router in the common areas, which is around 500+mbps, the add on points are still pretty speedy, over 100mbps.

Good purchase to complete the coverage in our house. Overall, the system works well.

Needed another one of these to extend my signal to the back yard so a Ring cam could get a signal. Such easy setup to add one of these to your existing Nest network. Highly recommended, especially if you can find one on sale. Have great service throughout the whole house and outside areas. House built in the 50s out of brick and plaster and is nearly 2000 square ft but I still needed the router and 2 access points to achieve a fast solid home network using this setup.

My apartment is 975sq feet, with a room on each side, having to work from home, I discovered that the room on the other side of my apt was a dead zone, the signal from my Wi-Fi router was so weak, not only could you not run a YouTube video, my internet was constantly crashing. I found out from my internet provider that their router only covers 300 sq. feet and they recommended a wi-fi extender, I purchased the best wireless extender, and set it up, the signal was so weak it couldn't even keep a zoom call going without falling in an out. After a lot of research, I bought this Google nest wi-fi router, plugged it into the back of my home router, got instant super speed in the other room, and I could run all computer programs and games with no problem. but every once in a while, the signal still dropped/ got slow. So I bought the Google wi-fi point with Google Assistant, and placed it in that room (this solved the problem), it not only stabilized the signal and made it stronger and faster, it even keeps up with online gaming. I have since moved some of my other devices from my home network to the google wi-fi router network, and now nothing crashes anymore. I'm so glad that I no longer have to call the internet provider to reset their port because the internet crashed (which was happening once a month) . I recommend to check carefully the size of your home, before purchasing to determine the amount of signal coverage you need. That will help you decide it you need to purchase the router alone or the router and point set together (which is cheaper then buying each piece individually (both products are sold at best buy)). My only regret is that I didn't purchase this sooner.

I purchased a two pack best wifi (router + extender) and and ended up getting another extender to fill gaps. Overall I wish they offered color options for 3 pack, as this caused me to split purchase. The router was expensive for not offering Google mini functionality. Wished router offered this. The extenders are well worth the price on special though. The speaker and mic quality is a bit better than Google minis but less than Google home. If you dedicated to the google Cast ecosphere, this is a good companion. I ended up moving my 1st gen minis to other locations and this proved better at mic and speaker output. With all that aside, I had original Google wifi and this was an upgrade for reliability and range. For best quality, the WiFi repeaters do need to be close in range. However the range of the Nest Wifi repeaters was much greater than google Wifi repeaters. My biggest frustration is the lack of Ethernet ports on the Nest Wifi vs Google Wifi. A hope they have a second generation that allows for Ethernet ports and WiFi 6 tech. I have 300 Mbps up and down, but speeds do seem limited to 120 Mbps over extenders. I get that for most cases, you would never ever use more than 120 Mbps or single point, but that is changing. Google should be at forefront of this technology instead of chasing. Overall easy WiFi mesh install, evolving app controls, great replacement for minis and expands upon the google WiFi Range. Downfalls are lack of Ethernet ports on extenders, no color options in 3-pack, limited functionality on router vs extenders, and no WiFi 6. Is it worth it? If you don’t have Google WiFi already and you are committed to the google ecosphere, yes. If you already have google WiFi or using Alexa, not so much.

I have had a TP-link mesh for almost a year. Good signal, but everyday it would drop around 10:00A, and the signal never got passed 100 mhz. So in an effort to simplify my smart home integrations, I bought this and another set. My speeds around the home with the phone are 5X that of the other system. The added bonus of having an assistant built it is wonderful, less is definitely more. Still pricey though.

Very good coverage with the Nest Wifi. Like the ability to play music in various locations. The range works well with the mesh setup. Using this setup in my detached garage about 40 feet from the house. Easy setup to existing system.

It works exactly as advertised. It’s easy to set up and expands my WiFi around the chimney into the corner of the bedroom, into the basement and onto the porch and patio. Sadly, Fios will not recognize that I am on my home network when I want to watch TV on my device, so it doesn’t allow me full use of Fios TV. Works perfectly for anything Fios allows me to do out of network

Couldn't believe the difference from prior in house Wifi systems. I opted for the router and 4 points in my large home given the multiple signal barriers and now everything connects including my laptop, iPhone, and Arlo cams. It even reaches out to my gazebo way in back of my yard where I can now play my favorite music
