I needed to transfer my cellphone number of choice from a Alcatel to a Samsung 8 plus phone, and it worked like a charm.

This SIM KIT is what you need to transfer your own phone to Net 10 and a no contract plan. The SIM KIT is fine, but it took a long time to get the number transferred from a burner phone, which was already on a Net 10 buy minutes and time as you go plan, to a new iphone with a monthly no contract plan. We were transferred to three or four different agents, and after about two hours of supplying the same information (IMEI #, etc.), the new phone was finally activated with the same number. Possibly, if we weren't trying to transfer the number from a burner phone or if we were willing to take a new number, the process may have gone faster and easier. The SIM KIT contains sim cards from Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile; so there are options to pick your own carrier as long as your phone is compatible. We have been using Net 10 with the burner phone for years and have had very little trouble with it as far as coverage, etc. We haven't used the new iphone very much since we just had it set up a short time ago; so we can't speak to coverage, etc., as we haven't traveled away from home as yet.

For a buck, you can't get much better. The Big 4 try to charge you $25+ for SIM cards. Net10 service provides the exact same coverage as the Big 4, with the ease of choosing which provider works for you and your phone at the same company. Easily switch to a different network when your needs or phone change. Be sure your phone is compatible with the network you choose. Net10 prices are very reasonable, and you can often find discounted refills on e Bay. I recommend Net10 for users who need Verizon or AT&T for the best bang for your buck (Tmobile and Sprint have plenty of other MVNOs that are cheaper than Net10).

I've been a Net10 customer for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The prepaid plans are incredibly cost-effective, and there are no contracts or hidden fees to worry about. The coverage has been consistently strong in my area, and I've never had any issues with dropped calls or slow data speeds.

This is a great, and relatively inexpensive, way to get on a great network with UNLIMITED* data. The set comes with SIM cards for Verizon, Att, and T-mobile MVNO Carriers. My wife has been using this, problem free, forever at the $40/month level, and I just started at the $20/month level (I do not even get close to the 3gb/ month limit. Easy to setup, easy to use. * - ($40/month = 10gb at fast speed and then unlimited at much slower speed)

I had a phone that was locked to AT&T and used this kit. It's a great kit to use if you have visiting family from out of country and want them to have an affordable phone and data. This does have sims available for a variety of carriers.

I bought this item for use inside a new, unlocked Motorola Moto G6 phone. I did so because I'd been satisfied with Net10 service using a similar (but locked) phone. The kit comes with SIM cards for three of the Big 4 service providers: AT&T; T-Mobile and Verizon. Because that previous phone worked very well with Verizon, I chose to insert the Verizon SIM first. The promised 4G LTE signal strength, however, was surprisingly shaky. One month later, I replaced that SIM card with the T-Mobile version. That was worse. Switching to 3G service seems to have helped considerably -- though that's certainly not why one buys a modern 4G phone. A Best Buy salesperson explained that all of the Big 4 service providers throttle the 4G services provided to "middlemen" like Tracfone, in Miami. (Tracfone is the parent of Net10 and Straight Talk at Walmart). It appears the Big 4 do that to punish customers for not routing their phones directly through Big 4 services. As such, I'm wondering how to proceed here -- as my previous, and much older, smartphone provided more reliable service that this phone does. I therefore provide a very qualified recommendation -- assuming the buyer understands what s/he is getting into.

I needed a new sim card to setup my moto G6, this one worked just fine, they have contracts with all three carriers so you can pick the towers that work best in your area (or what works in your phone), their plans are a bit skimpy on data, so if you use a lot of data, you may want to look at other options.

came with three sim cards to work with at&t tmobile or verizon. I had to use at&t with the phone i bought, but works great, and I didn't have to wait on shipping. took me some time on customer service tech support, but got it figured out.

Been using Net10 for years. Had an issue one time where one line didn't auto renew. But was fixed relatively quickly.

If you BYO phone to Net10 you'll need this SIM card kit. The kit is inclusive for all factory unlocked phones as well as most major carriers' unlocked phones, and it includes all 3 SIM card sizes. The card(s) work fine, but the instructions regarding which one you need to use can be unclear if you're not a geek (like me). Don't hesitate to call Net10 at the phone number they provide. They're very friendly and helpful, and they'll talk you through the set-up process. Many stores don't stock these SIM card kits. If you have to order the kit, I would recommend purchasing 2 of them. It's worth an extra $1 to have a spare just in case you have an issue when setting up your new phone, rather than having to wait another week for the replacement kit to arrive. I have not had any issues with using them, but just in case...
