We have a fairly rambling house with many corners and brick on the outside as well as some of the interior walls. Our router is in a study at one end of the house, and our bedroom and my wife's desk are at the other. Consequently, we've never been able to get usable Wi-Fi reception to her desk, though we've tried several solutions that were guaranteed to work. Speed isn't an issue as we have a back woods DSL provider. Friday, after returning a router and matched wireline extender that didn't do the job, I decided to try the EX6200 range extender, paired with Netgear's R6400 router. Prior to this, I'd avoided AC routers, as my first attempt with them was a disaster. This time it worked, and everybody's happy!

I have a fairly large house, and felt the wifi was not reaching one end. This extender has certainly helped with the wifi in our home. I should have bought it sooner. It was very easy to install.

Our cable modem/router is in the basement and my wife would have difficulty with the connection for her iPod/Pad/Phone and Fire TV stick. And the Fire TV would stop and buffer a lot of the time. The setup using WPS wouldn't get the 5GHz to work, but the browser method was simple and easy to follow which got me going with 5GHz in about a minute. Then I took the extender upstairs, plugged it in,and switched the Fire TV and her Apple devices to use the AC1200. That was also simple and now the connection never drops and the Fire TV never buffers. I am very glad I bought it.

Bought this as a gift for my Husband, he absolutely love it. it's been working great right out of the box and still is!

Bought this to improve signal to the TV in the garage. Plugged it in and in recognized the network and I didn't have to do a thing except enjoy a super clear picture on my TV.

Works well. The range has increased to end of house.

Does the job on a 3800 sq ft house where my router can't get to all areas of the house. My router covers upstairs and this extender covers downstairs. I now get full bars across my house.

I placed this extender in the basement of a 3000 square foot home and the wifi has improved tremendously. Great produce for a great price.

I bought the NETGEAR AC 1200 to increase the range of my wifi throughout my house. It has dramatically increased the download speeds for my internet connection.

We use this upstairs from our modem. It sends the signal very well to our wireless devices.’you have to remember to reboot it every couple weeks to unload the cache build up

This was able to help me get from my house out to my shop through the metal building. Did have to sit in the window to work, but it helped me get the signal out there.

I had several dead zones in my house but after installing the Netgear AC1200, I get full WiFi coverage and signal strength through entire house. A little pricey but it fixed my problem.

I am so happy with my NETGEAR - AC1200 Wireless - AC Range Extender. My computer connects easily to signal passing through 2 walls with a maximum signal strength. I have not yet lost connectivity. Thank You!

my range extender was easy to install and i was up and running in less then 5 mins. the extender was easy to understand and range that it has makes me think i don't ever require another extender.
