My current modem was out modernized (hard-wire to fiber optics) and I had to upgrade! This was The Best Buy recommendation and it was a good one. Net Gear offered great support over the phone and it really gets the job done FAST! Very nice looking piece of equipment as well! Thanks Harts

Searched all over for a router to use at a location offering only DSL service. Needed better range and higher speeds. This modem/router replaced service providers equipment and blew it out of the water. Setup instructions were easy to understand, and we had it up and running within minutes. Has a great app associated with it that made things even easier.

It works with all our devices but, it only works as well as your internet service. Don't expect miracles. If we are downloading something big, the rest of the household is noticeably slowed. It was easy to set up. I would like to set up a timer to block some devices at specific times but, this is not something that can be fully or easily done. You can only block access to certain sites not a complete shutdown of certain devices. I kind of wished that I hadn't invested $200 so I could have switched to a cable modem. It would have been a much faster service.

I went into Best Buy looking for a CenturyLink DSL modem. I was directed to purchase this one since they were currently out of the ones from CenturyLink. Setup is very easy. Wireless coverage is great to cover my town home. The extra cost of this unit over the the standard CenturyLink modem is well worth it for the better wireless coverage and speed.

I purchased this because the router I had was not compatible with my wife's new cell phone, So I figured it was time for an update. So after looking a what was available at Best Buy, I decided to get the Netgear and it was easy to set up and I have had no problems with it. It works just like it said it would.

I had problems installing this modem, and discovered there was no option for phone tech support in the instructions. How is this useful when you are having issues with the installation process? I should've purchased a modem from my internet carrier, as I would've had tech support via a human. I had to use my phone's hotspot for days while I waited for my scheduled tech support appointment. Thankfully, they (my internet carrier) were able to get me up and running. I've had a handful of episodes where all pc's in the house lose connectivity-which affects my work productivity, as I work from home.

We have used this modem for a little more than a month and are very satisfied with the performance so far. We live in a rural area without high speed internet, so we looked for a modem that would give us the strongest signal over the greatest area for a reasonable price, to make up for our slow dsl service. We put the modem in a room close to the center of our home and the signal reaches all the way out to the back of the property and out to the street in front. So we can use our iPads or laptop anywhere on our property, which is awesome! Further more, with this modem, we don't even notice that we have dsl. Pages load quickly and we can even stream shows. We haven't tried streaming a movie yet, but we are very impressed with the way this modem seems to boost our dsl signal

Easy set up...since it was new, had to reset existing network settings, but once that was complete have had no problems. Slick design, NO flashing lights...just lighted icons to let you know all is well!

Not really having any issues with it, does what it needs to, was reasonably priced and looks neat. I game and watch a lot of Netflix, no buffering problems, no lag. No complaints.

I am very satisfied with the product. I called Century Link BEFORE installing it to get isp user name and password, and haven't experienced a single glitch. It has an attractive design and installation was quite user friendly. I Highly recommend it!

Bought this to replace the Actiontec modem that CenturyLink provided with my service and was blown away by the difference. The Actiontec never ran the way It was supposed to, and after a few months just quit connecting to the Internet at all. This modem was super easy to hook up and was working within 15 minutes after removing it from the box. I have CenturyLink 40 mbps service and this modem runs at 50 mbps on the lan cable and a steady 35 mbps on the wifi. Signal throughout my house is strong and everything I have connected to it runs great.

Needed a fast replacement for a blown DSL modem and wireless router. AT&T offered junk at a premium price even though they were SUPPOSED to honor their warranty on the old modem. Netgear has been my go-to brand for good equipment at reasonable prices for several years. This modem/router worked perfect out of the box, offered greater range over the old modem. Quite pleased with the performance.

Very easy to set up. Still can't figure out how to change the password, but it has been working well.

So far so good on the router, it was easy to install thanks to step by step instruction received from AT&T my wireless internet provider. It also looks stylish.

So in the mountains of western North Carolina, cable doesn't run where we live, and satellite and cell service can be spotty. Hello DSL. This modem/router does the job well and doesn't take up a lot of desk space to do it. Sleek design, easy to use.

It has been very impressive for our first one that we have puchased. We have been renting for our internet provider for 10 years, and it has been a real piece of work, slow, slow, slow! We are so excited for the one we just purchased. It is so much faster and we can have multiple people all using it without is slowing down! We would recommend it to others in the market to buy!!!!

I went through a number of products trying to find a suitable router/modem solution for my AT&T DSL service. I had a lot of trouble getting a number of them to work. As always, it is hard to tell if the service provider or gear is at fault. This product was easy to set up, has performed well and has generally been a good upgrade for us.

I'm not a "Techy" by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, I know what works and what doesn't. This NETGEAR router works, and works well. I'm using mine in a 900 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment and have had zero issues with performance or reliability. Easy set up with directions written in easy to understand language. Thank you.
