Needed to add wifi to my desktop and this came in handy. Easy to install and set up.

Works well, also I bought this as the wi-fi had failed on my computer and I was in a hotel. It needs access to a drive or wired internet to set up and Best Buy were very helpful, giving me access to a wired internet connection in store so that I could set this up. Set up worked well, first time and I had no problems worklng in the hotel after that.

This adapter is perfect for an older computer without a wireless card. Great price, too.

bought this for my miners. I've setup miners in a room which is pretty far away from the internet router (two story house). and this one resolved the problem like this easy and simple. small usb size but dual-band strong ability.

This usb dongle (adapter) lets you connect laptops & desktops, to the wifi signal that is available to you. This is a great quick fix when your laptop wifi card fails or you have an older laptop that never had wifi in the first place. It it also great for making desktops wifi compatible too!. I keep one in my tech toolbox to help connect and trouble shoot wifi issues with my clients.

So this is about the size of a half-dollar at best. Very small, and is a great option to add to any computer that doesn't have wifi, or needs to upgrade to higher and better wifi bands. The included software will control everything for you, or you can use built in WiFi connectivity in Windows Only downside, is that you can hit it easily on a laptop, so be careful that you don't hit it or lose it.

My mother-in-law's integrated wireless adapter failed on her Toshiba laptop... I wanted a replacement product that I could install quickly that would be reliable... bought the Netgear USB mini adapter... it installed quickly and worked both on my wireless network and her home wireless network... I've had great success with Netgear networking equipment and this was no exception.

Great inexpensive WIFI adapter for to take an ethernet only desktop that was previously hardwired and give it a new lease on life at a location where we didn't have the option of connecting to an ethernet cable. Might not recommend for a laptop though just due to it's size Price was right and setup was a breeze. Couldn't be happier

The internal wifi on my laptop finally gave out, so this was a great solution. It works fantastically, allowing me to be online anywhere in my home. This will help extended the life of my laptop until I can afford a new one.

I had a worthless Dell Laptop. Worthless cuz it would kick everyone off WiFi when it randomly disconnects from the WiFi. Dell couldn’t help. So I bought this and now my Dell works like it was supposed to. Connecting to my Netgear router is as easy as pressing a button on the dongle and on the router.

The wifi card built into my laptop was only capable of downloading at 25 MBPS. My phone was pulling speeds of up to 150 MBPS. I plugged this little jewel into a USB port and windows found a driver for it and now I have been getting download speeds up to 150 MBPS plus I am able to access my 5G that my router puts out. My original network card only saw the 2G channel.
