I am very satisfied with the result, I have an Internet plan of 200 mbs and the WiFi signal never reached 50 mbs and now after I installed this WiFi amplifier I have speeds of up to 300 mbs.

Got this for my Mother. Her WIFI router is at one end of the house and she spends a considerable amount of time on her sun porch at the opposite end of the house. The house has aluminum siding which greatly degraded the signal to the sun porch. Signal was adequate while standing in the doorway to the sun porch but nonexistent as soon as you moved from the doorway. Purchased this extender to see if would boost signal enough for sun porch wifi use. Per instructions, the initial setup and connection to existing modem/wifi router was done close by and was simple enough using the button on the router. Problem happened when disconnecting extender and moving to location half way between existing modem/router and sun porch, again per the instructions. Could never get extender to reconnect again. Finally, I managed to figure out how to connect to the extender via my laptop and download an update to the extender. Repeated the process and this time the extender reconnected. Signal to the sun porch was improved so now Mom can enjoy using her tablet on the sun porch. All in all, good product except for installation instructions.

Installing this extender on my home network was quite a breeze but then again I have built computers, worked with networking on both the home & business side so I consider my self a little more savvy than the normal person.
I do like how it does not require a desk or shelf to sit on, it hangs from where it plugs into the wall. It also has an option to connect a network cable (RJ45) into it if you want to hardwire a device. Of course you are experiencing what ever speed the Wifi runs on, it is not a true hardwired connection.
Great piece of hardware that does its function well and for the price you pay.

Very easy to setup with my Verizon FIOS router. It does extend the range, but it created a variation of my WIFI account name by adding additional characters to its name. The problem is that it wont communicate with my wireless printers (Brother) since it is on a different 'network.' Useful if you don't need to connect to the rest of your local network. I would not buy it again due to the network name change.

Bought this on sale for $50 as i needed to extend my wireless signal to my gaming console. My gf hates that i run an ethernet throughout the whole house into my room haha. So i did some research and this one device caught my attention. Its very easy to use and i like the fact that u can just plug it into the wall. The connection is a little bit better than without it and it connects to my xbox one and xbox360 fine. There was a couple times i had connection problems with my IP address but then again i was having internet problems with my provider so it could have been that. Sometimes i notice it loses connection after a few days of being idle and the lights will turn yellow, i usually reset it and it works again. Make sure you update the firmware from their website as they might have updates that updates the device. Its been a month since i upgraded the firmware and its been working awesome.

Our wireless router is in the lower level of our home and although the range and signal was good for the main living areas, we wanted to be able to extend the signal outside to our patio and pool area. The Netgear AC750 was easy to setup and connect to the router. It's placed inside right next to the patio door. The signal is good, steady and reaches our entire outdoor entertainment area.

This was very easy for even a senior to set up. The only problem I had in set up was digging my wifi password up! I like to read my iPad in a room only about 25 feet from where my router is. I had given up on trying to watch YouTube or the videos on CNN. I have the new Apple Radio, but the music would stop and start. Comcast said my signal was fine. I took a leap of faith and bought this product. I am glad that I did. Only occasionally do I get a little buffering. Much better than before. One odd thing is that about once a day my wifi network resets to the old one. This is easy to fix though by going into wifi settings on the iPad and changing it back to Netgear.

I was satisfied with this device's performance as a Wi-Fi extender, but for my application, an Archer T9UH AC1900 antenna was a
better choice. I wanted to speed up the connection to a PC that was freezing during Zoom videos. There were two components
of my problem. First, the PC's internal Wi-Fi adapter delivered
limited bandwidth. Second, the signal reaching this PC was
weak. However, the Wi-FI connection to my other devices
was OK. The Netgear Wi-Fi extender fixed the second problem,
but not the first. The antenna fixed both problems, was
cheaper than the Netgear, and did not draw power when the PC
was not in use. Also, by not extending the range of the signal, the antenna does not not increase the risk of someone snooping.
If I had needed to speed up more than one device, I would have considered the Netgear, but for one device, the antenna was a better solution.

I love it. No we have full bars of WiFi in what we use to call the dungeon of the house. Kids love it cause they have moved there playroom/game room to that area of the house to get away form the parents. They can stream all their movies and play all their games now at great speeds. And so easy to set up.

Like I said it was easy to set up, instructions were simple enough. When I placed it where I needed the signal boosted it showed no signal, I went back through set up and tried it where I wanted it at. Only shows good not best signal, but it does get me internet out back in my garage, could be the construction of my home, old mid 40s home and its solid as a brick......house I'm happy to have internet service in my garage though running a separate cable there would be expensive.

I had a dead spot on the opposite side of the house on the first floor. The incoming service and modem are on the second floor on the other side of the house. I could not get a reliable signal to an AIO in main floor now.the kitchen on the other side of the first floor. Mounting this in the room below the main modem, it is out of sight behind a flower pot and gives a great signal to the other end of the house. Setup is easy and fast. Plug it in to an outlet next to main router. Press a button and the connection is made automatically. Once the computer says connection is complete, you can unplug it and move it to it's final position.

We purchased this extender for our office as it is long and our router & modem are at the far end on the space which results in poor strength on our 5g network. It was purchased in response to COVID-19 and our increased need for telehealth connectivity requiring good signal strength and speeds for the synchronous audio & visual requirements. I cannot give too many details as we have not used it for long because our staff is now working remotely due to COVID-19, but what little experience we have had was good. The setup was relatively easy. It did require the manual setup through an ethernet cable instead of the WPS capability, but that is no fault of the unit or NETGEAR and is based on the security features built into our Cox Communications business internet service. Would give 5 stars if I had more data to support its functionality and effectiveness.

I just bought this router extender for my new house. All of the wires in the housing routed through a hub in the basement. This is where we had our wireless new 'powerful' Verizon FiOS router installed. However, it was only getting me 2 bars on the top floor.
I got this extender and placed in on the stairwell leading to the top floor of the house. I got 4-5 bars of 2GB and 3-4 bars of 5GB. It took about 15 min to setup beginning to end and has been really performing well.

I was having issues getting a good WiFi signal in my basement. My router is on the 2nd floor of the house. I was unable to stream anything from my Chrome cast. I set this up to my router and there were two ways explained in the booklet. The easy way and the hard way. The easy way didn't work so I had to use the way that you had to set it up from the site. It still wasn't too hard and I have no background in setting these things up.
After setting up it had me create two new networks. One for 2.4ghz and one for 5ghz. So this doesnt extend your current network but makes you create new ones. So when you are out of range you need to switch to one of these networks. To some people it's annoying. But it's not a huge hassle to me. I actually just stay connected to the 5ghz all around the house so I don't worry about switching.
The Chromecast now works and streams in HD in the basement. This is with me setting up the extender on the middle floor. I give this 4 stars because there are times the WiFi still gets choppy. So it is not the solution 100%. But it was either that or ask the cable company to come modify my set up and not sure how much more that would cost.
As a tip, run the speed test on any app. Just because your getting a full WiFi signal it doesnt mean your actually getting high speeds.
