Finally a superb router that works! This router is replacing a Google Nest WiFi router that was very problematic. I figured for my latest router, I should stick with the same brand as my cable modem, which is also Netgear brand, and everything is working perfectly now. My Philips Hue bridge and Solar City gateway, which must be physically connected to the router are flawlessly working, which was not the case with the Google Nest WiFi. Also I have full WiFi anywhere in my home of 1800 square feet, even though all of my internet equipment is installed in the basement. The Nighthawk App, used to setup the Netgear router worked well, and was very user friendly. I did a speed test with that app, and I am getting slightly more than my bit rate from Xfinity! I’m very happy to have a stable, powerful, WiFi router as all of my connected devices now run perfectly!

New technology makes a huge difference with all the new video formats and high-resolution quality, and the router is the vehicle to transport the information back and forth. I am so happy this was the easiest router I have hooked up in 20 years and the best quality. Use it for my office space, 1 streaming TV, YouTube channel, Webinar hosting, Podcasting, Video upload and download. Fast, and device friendly.

Love it! Just upgraded from a very old router… like 7 years old… this runs everything in my home very easily and constant 6-800 mbps with my new 1gig internet speed… my old router would only push out about 250-260 mbps on a 500 mb internet sub. Love the nighthawk app and everything that comes with it. Makes everything very simple to connect and keep track of. Would deff recommend

For the past 2 years I've had the 100 Mbps plan and rented the standard modem from Xfinity at $14/month and my wireless speeds, with 2 devices, were a low of 25 to 40 Mbps, an average of 50 to 60 Mbps, and a high of maybe 105 Mbps on a very good day. I switched my plan to the 200 Mbps, but wireless speeds remained about the same. Very, very frustrating. When my children came over & there were 4 or 5 devices using wireless the speeds were even worse. Buffering was part of life. Silently cursing Xfinity was also an accepted part of life. I kept Xfinity and the 200 Mbps plan, but switched to the Netgear CM500 High Speed Cable Modem and the Netgear AX1800 WiFi 6 Router. Immediately in most of my home the wifi speeds went up 4 times faster, averaging almost 240 Mbps download and around 6.1 Mbps upload. My bedroom speed was still slow & I purchased the Njghthawk X4 WiFi Mesh Extender (set up as Access Point, plugged the Nighthawk X4 into a bedroom wall outlet and ran a CAT6 Ethernet cable [purchased from Best Buy] from my living room router thru my bedroom wall to the X4) and now the WiFi speed in my bedroom is the same as the rest of my home. And we have an average of 6 to 10 devices simultaneously connected to WiFi. The 2 attached pictures show WiFi speed in my living room and my bedroom. I highly recommend these Nighthawk products. They have made using my home's WiFi much, much more enjoyable and eliminated an unnecessary stress in my life. All 3 products can be purchased for a combined total of around $350 (that's a really good value). Do it! Now!

This is an excellent all-around device. I experience absolutely zero latency while gaming, which makes a huge difference in competitive matches. Setup was effortless — it's truly plug-and-play. The modem is versatile and can function as either a router or be switched to bridge mode to work as an extender, depending on your network setup. One of my favorite features is the built-in gaming VPN. It optimizes my connection and lowers ping across different servers, so I can play to my maximum potential without lag or interruptions. The overall performance, design, and functionality make this a must-have for any serious gamer or anyone looking to improve their home network. Highly recommended!

Very pleased with this purchase! I upgraded to a 3.1 modem and a wifi6 router.. quadruple my speed!!! Router is easy to use and the night hawk app let's me control the wifi in my house even when I'm at work. And for the price... I don't think there is a better router out there... u game but always hardwire the BoxX1... wifi to the Xbox is about 90Mbps hardliners is 554Mbps !!!

Easy set up. Love having the app to access all details about my system. Switch from internet provider rental to my own netgear set up and has been super smooth transition with much better connection.

This modem has been great since the installation, strong signal, great features through the netgear app, and this far very reliable!

Our Internet provider recently upgraded our speeds to 300mbit and our old Netgear router was 7 years old only getting roughly 75-80mbit speeds. We upgraded to this router and our speeds are nearing 400mbit!! Very impressed and have always loved Netgear! If you are wanting faster speeds I HIGHLY recommend this router! GREAT price!

I've been using the Netgear router for a few weeks now — it works reliably, the speed is great, and the signal is strong throughout the apartment. Manual setup was fairly quick. Took about 30 minutes to figure it out.

I purchased this product at Best buy after doing some research. The set up was easy. It was a matter everything was plugged in properly and that the steps were followed. Most of the work is done by the Netgear nighthawk mobile app. The speed is very good. In one area of my house there was seventy percent increase in download speed. The WiFi signal in my house is much more stable and secured. Setting up guest networks was also easy. The nighthawk app makes managing your home network simple. I highly recommend this product.

I had originally bought the Google wifi router ac1200, but to it back immediately. Comcast ran all new lines to my house, I had 378 mbps up and 25 down hardwired from my modem but only 100 down and 8 up from the Google router. I bought this netgear router and ran a couple of speed tests via WiFi and had speeds that matches the hardwired speeds from the modem.

I bought this router for a new apartment and has been working great. Super fast with multiple devices running and more than enough area coverage. Definitely worth the cost!

So in the middle of a job, my previous router decided to die, no warning. I work from home - so this is a BIG DEAL. Quickly off to the store and returned with the RAX10 (NETGEAR AX4 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router). It only took about 10 minutes to be completely set-up and ready to go. I did a speed check and voila, FASTER than ever! LOVE my new RAX10!

This router has been a headache saver. I was using a 2 in 1 modem for my xfinity services and it was no longer supported by xfinity after having it for 3 years. I needed a new one but wanted a dedicated router should I need to get a new modem again down the line and save some money. The router was easy to install. Followed the instructions and have the app on my phone and install took all of 10 minutes if that? I did put it on command strips to elevate it a bit to not be blocked by monitors etc. I can control what devices can use the Wi-Fi, take off devices that are no longer owned by us and I changed the router info to match my previous Wi-Fi and password so I wouldn’t have to put new info in for everything. This is especially helpful with my security cameras so there was no down time really once everything was plugged in. Just a tip, make sure if you are using a modem that what you have hard wired is hard wired to the router and not the modem.

Had to upgrade my router and this was the perfect addition. I've noticed that all my devices are faster now. I like the features that it has as well.
