It did what it was supposed to do but I feel like it lacked everything I needed I have 1gb download and I knew getting that same speed would be impossible but getting only 150mbs sometimes 170mbs was not for me I understand that it is till a fair amount but for what I need no thanks. SETUP: I also have xfinity at first it was complicated but fairly easy to set up when I realised just plug it in then just go to the website on the back of the extender then from there continue but make sure your connected with the extender when doing the setup.

Moved my workstation to the far end of the basement and was only getting 7mbps, not enough for a reliable connection to the office vpn. The Netgear EAX20 was delivered at 11.36 AM and before noon I was online with 35 mbps, well above the 50% of my primary router that I was expecting. My laptop mostly stays in the docking station but my iPad and iPhone go with me all over the house without any connection issues. I was very happy the first day and am still happy after 4 weeks. I was very nervous about solving my WiFi reception issue because the internet is a mystery to me. Reviews seem to ding the EAX20 for being expensive, but it was worth every penny to me.

Needed to expand my wifi to hook up a Ring camera, The Netgear-Eax20 ax 1800 helped me accomplish this. Hookup was a little difficult, but now not only does my ring camera hook into my wifi, but also all the other devices in that dead area of my house work great, A real bargain

My WiFi router is downstairs, so I use this for upstairs so I can still have a wired connection. I get great gaming and video streaming speeds so no complaints. And it was pretty easy to setup.

I replaced an older range extender with this Netgear and what a difference! All my devices communicate much quicker with the EAX20 and no drop offs! I highly recommend this range extender if you are looking to expand your WiFi capabilities.

This wifi extender works great. Had a shop built but it was only 30ft from the house but got no signal inside. With the wifi extender it picks up a signal and i have full bars within the entire 30x50 shop. Love it so far.

Mostly easy to setup...the app got stuck at one point and had to factory reset it to complete setup, but otherwise good. For obvious reasons the extender isn't quite as fast as being connected to originating router, but distancs was food. We needed this to extend signal fr one end of a 2500 sq ft house to the back yard for a projector, and it fit the bill perfectly.

Amazing extender...This thing has a really good coverage compared to old extenders or all old generation routers. WiFi 6 really shines in range.

This is a really good product and creates that mesh wifi in another end of the house. Use the Nighthawk app and it basically walks you through linking it up to your existing router/modem. I would recommend connecting it to the 5ghz wifi signal as that will give you the max speed. The 4 ethernet ports is mainly what I needed to direct my high speed internet into my devices in the living room. Game console owners take advantage of this.

I needed Ethernet ports for video streaming devices that had fluctuating wifi signal strength. This solved the problem perfectly. The setup instructions pointed to the Netgear app, but following its minimal guidance, that did not work at all, multiple attempts. However, I knew how to use the easier WPS connect from the small extender it replaced, and that did the trick, nicely. Day-1, I’m pleased, but I’ve learned any network system change often makes mine a bit funky for a while. So far, not an issue. Knock on wood. A positive, there are four Ethernet ports for future expansion if needed.

Poor wifi in middle and back of apartment away from main router/modem. This device added power and range all the way to back porch with proper placement. Pretty easy setup but I have used Netgear before... Very satisfied with results and price!

First one had an issue. 5Ghz speed was 200mbps but 2.4Ghz had 3-15mbps. And in both cases used only 5Ghz for the connection to Nighthawk Router. Support was a nightmare as only the Nighthawk support team can handle it. The Mesh team for Orbi cannot support this product and I kept getting routed there. Finally support said to try another one. This is the second one and it is much better. 5Ghz is 200mbps and 2.4 regularly shows 30-60mbps when within 20 feet of the Extender. Handoff from Router to Extender is fairly quick but that will depend on your phone.

This replaced an old wireless-N range extender... installation was quick and it worked properly... my download speed went from 44.5 MBPS on the old unit to over 500 MBPS with this new Netgear unit... I am very pleased with the performance.

This wonderful piece of equipment save me from having to pay a monthly charge for a second modem and a second monthly cable charge. I was able to set up an office room in the farthest area in the house from our current modem. Wasn’t sure if the distance was going to be too far but the Netgear Wi-Fi extender works like a dream.

When I first set up the Mesh Extender it worked great but by day 2 it was barely working. After some troubleshooting, I realized I had plugged it into a power strip which I believe was messing with the system after moving it to a wall outlet it has been functioning perfectly and had a blazing fast single throughout my whole house.

Easy to setup and get started. Installed the application, followed the prompts and was able to connect my devices to the WiFi right away. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks with no issues so far. My house is a quad level, WiFi router is on 2nd floor main level, I set this extender up in lowest level basement. Now all my devices on the lower 2 floors are connected to the extender flawlessly and my 2 upstairs floors are connected to the WiFi router. I wish I would have purchased this sooner.
