Searched for quite a while before finding this unit. Easy connection and no additional wires (ethernet cables) needed. Only issue is if you have an existing router network you have to look up the IP address first to enter into the new unit to setup. Paperwork include doesn't tell you this. Once I figure that out it took just minutes to set up. Works great giving coverage throughout household now.

It works as design, which a lot of other router extenders do as well. My 3 start rating is that it did not meet my expectation around getting it connected to my home network. I had to search multiple forums looking for an answer and none worked. My PC would not recognize the extender. After reading multiple discussions, I was able to figure out that I need to try the setup on different devices until one works. I was finally able to get it working by trying to set it up through my iPhone.

This Wi-Fi extender was placed in an adjacent room to my network router, and has made an improvement to my reception, although not as great as I would have hoped. Since this has a relatively low price, I would have to say the cost/function ratio is reasonable. The best bet, however, is to go with better quality to get better results.

All I can say is this little device is awesome !!! Worth every penny I paid. Setup was very, very easy, just follow the steps in the instructions manual (e.g. plug the device, turn it On near your wifi router & pressing the WPS button of your wifi router to pair it with your new Netgear Wifi Extender). You don't need to do any special setup, it'll automatically replicate your wifi router settings and you can use your new device right away. I'll definitely recommend this product! Thumbs up!

I bought this to use in my warehouse. The office wi-fi was weak out there but this product works flawlessly. I confirmed it with a wi-fi app on my phone. We now have over 10,000 square feet of coverage with great signal strength. The only downside to any of these is that it has to hand-off the wi-fi from one to the other as you move around. Not a big deal unless you are in the middle of a wi-fi call on your cell phone.

I needed to strengthen the wifi in my daughter's room for her PS4. I bought this device after reading some reviews on Amazon and Best Buy. (yes, I paid a few dollars more from Best Buy but wanted the ease of service from them if any issues popped up). The one thing I did read is there were people that seemed to struggle with assigning the .ext to connect the device. Some said the manual was hard to understand. Why bother folks? There is a You Tube video that walks you through step by step. I am far from a Techie but this was a breeze and had up and running in minutes. Works great.

I needed a wifi extender since one section/room of my house is getting a poor signal from my wireless router. I got this item few months ago for one, good price and good review. Setup was a breeze, although you really need to read the instructions. Instructions are easy to follow, not a rocket science and since then, I got a good signal to extend my wifi range to the room I need to. Once in awhile the signal weakens, but must be the signal coming from my main wifi router, but overall, this is a good buy and highly recommended.

I purchased this because it was inexpensive, and I wanted to use my laptop in the backyard. Unfortunately, the Wi-fi in the house doesn't reach back there. However, I can now access a signal outside, albeit a tad slower than the speeds obtainable within my walls. Not bad for the price!

Needed this to extend WIFI to a detached garage so I could use my WIFI garage door opener. Works great and very easy to set up. My router is located in the basement of the house and the garage is 75 feet away from the house and I still get a strong signal. I even have WIFI in our garden (nearly 100 feet from the house)!

My router is on the first floor and my printer and laptop are on the second floor. With this extender, I get excellent connections to my Wi-Fi from both the first and second floor. It was extremely easy to install. I am 70 years old and understood the instructions perfectly. Very happy that I decided to add this extender.

All I needed was a stronger signal outside on our front porch. This was easy setup, great price and it works great! Will buy again if I need a better signal in the back.

Does what I need, extends my wi-fi to the entire house. My house has plaster lathe walls with wire mesh so getting the wi-fi to reach the opposite side of the house was a challenge until I installed this extender. Also helps get the signal through the solid brick exterior wall to my yard. Cheap and very effective, also easy-peezey set up.

I bought this wi-fi range extender to solve a problem of reception at the other end of the house, this unit worked perfectly for streaming wi-fi to the family room so now all of our tablets, phones and tv pick up a clear signal.

This is my second purchase of this product. My home has structural elements that make WiFi spotty in certain regions. I bought this second extender to improve range of the signal to cover areas beyond the structural elements in 2 different directions. The price is decent for the performance - it can carry 50-60 mbs. You can add multiple extenders to your network and programming them is relatively easy. The only points of contention is that you may have to get creative in adding remote access to the multiple extenders (if you choose to use more than 1) and it will not extend 5 ghz band; it only works with 2.5ghz band.

The extender was positioned at the opposite end of our small house. It did extend the network so wi-fi in the front room was possible. The wi-fi connection from extender to the video doorbell on the other side of the door was only okay, not great.
Price is very reasonable. No bells and whistles, but that is okay.

This is an inexpensive choice to extend your network in your house. I notice that it sometime cuts out but most of the time it works well.
