Thus far, after a week, excellent experience. Comcast raised their fee to $10 a month for a modem/router combo This unit has better specs and I recommend the replacement plan if you are going to be using your own equipment with a cable/internet company. I have 3 tablets, 2 Chromecasts, 2 phones, workstation and an Amazon TV connected to this and regularly get 20 Mbps down or greater. I can play WoW while I stream to both TVs. Internet has many variables but this unit does the job I need it to do in my connected world. Happy. (Picture is of speed test on work station in office connected via wireless)

Used this with our Time Warner Cable subscription. It works well with fast speeds. It gives good signal even when we're a few rooms away. I haven't had to reset it yet since buying it many months ago. It hasn't stopped working. Once in a while I'll reset my iPhone connectivity, but that could just be the iPhone connection "freezing". Overall, great product. Saves me money than leasing a modem from Time Warner.

Really Great, it has been 2 almost 2 months and no complains from my wife and teenager kid ... with our previous issue on always buffering while online and modem reset. This has been perfect for all of us at home, have not reset the modem since 1st activation, and NO MORE buffering, and signal strength is no longer a problem too .... just great :-)

This modem/wifi router is amazing and works really well. I've been using it for about a month now and I have no complaints. There are so many features/options you can use, though I don't use any. If I had children I would defiantly utilize it more cause you can set it to turn wifi off on certain days and times. Which I thought was pretty cool. Maybe if boyfriend starts playing video games to much I'll start doing that. :p

Easy installation, I had the device set up with the network configured and running in 15 minutes. This cable modem/router is compatible with Wave Broadband in Seattle.

The Netgear N450 was easy to install with very informative and simple instructions. I purchased it for $104 including the sales tax to replace the rental modem from Comcast which was recently increased from $8 to $10 a month. I haven't tried the wireless feature yet but I assume it will work as flawlessly as the modem.

No issues with set up. Worked as expected with Comcast and so happy to not have to pay their monthly lease fee. If you are wondering should you or shouldn't you take the leap, this is a great modem to do it with.

After installing with the help of the cable company, it works great. The distance for wireless is greater than the one supplied by the cable company. I had difficulty reaching all my rooms with the old one. This is an excellent product.

this router offers two signals so I'm able to use my work computer, personal computer, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Blu Ray player with no problems.

This modem works just as advertised. The wifi is very good as well. Pretty good range. Only thing this modem doesn't have is a phone jack. My cable is Time Warner.

Works great. Fast speeds on my PC. WiFi works great with two phones, iPad, laptop, tv, DirecTV box and PS3 all using it.

Router and modem in one device saves us money and space. Also I like the fact that it was compatable with our time warner cable internet connection.

This router was suggested by a Comcast Rep and is working well with good WiFi coverage thought the 1500 sqft building. Router is in one corner, and we can access from the furthest corner with acceptable loss of speed. Comcast does not recognize the N450 as an approved model. Say its CG3000DV2

works great in my 800 sq ft apt and love that i dont have to have two pieces of equipment. even my internet provider said it's better than the one they provide their customers!!

I don't think the modem is at fault for the "what's not so great" cons. My girlfriend and I have had Time Warner Cable for a couple years and here lately the apartment has had a number of leaks within the walls that I believe are effecting the quality of service for our internet. So with that being said, this modem works really well. It's real easy to set up, one call to the cable company with the MAC address and it's up and running within the hour. We get download speeds of 22MB/s with it. With faster internet, I am sure that it is capable of more. We really like the modem/router combination and it's so easy to use. We are hoping to stick to TWC when we move, since these problems with the internet didn't start happening until after a year and a half of having great service.

A combo modem router is a great way of reducing clutter around your computer. I have had this for a couple of weeks and seems to work well. My only reservation is about setup. The instructions were not very clear about your netgear password and the password needed to connect your devices. Calling suport helped but I had to listen to a 10 minute hard sell about why t I should buy an extended warranty that cost more than the origiinal purchase price.

The set-up was easy and it was compatible with my cable company's specs.

This product works much better than my previous separate modem and router. It is located upstairs in the master bedroom, and our laptops can connect and stay connected downstairs without any problem. I like the convenience of having both the modem and router in one unit. The only negative point is the bright flashing lights which are quite obvious in a dark room when you are in bed at night. Therefore, it may not be the best choice for use in a bedroom. Otherwise, we are quite happy with it.
