    Great Router

This router is so much better than the one supplied by my isp (AT&T). My old router would drop my internet connection several times a day. After going though three of their routers and several service calls I decided to hunt for something better. The Nighthawk was the answer to my prayers. Now no more dropped internet connections. What's ironic is that both the AT&T supplied router and the Nighthawk are both manufactured by Netgear. I guess the AT&T supplied routers are discontinued very cheaply made routers. AT&T will try to persuade you from using a router that is not supplied by them. Don't listen to them. Get this router. You will be so happy. Very easy setup. I was up and running within about 30 minutes right out of the box.

We wanted to update our router and went for this one and were not disappointed. Easy set up, love the netgear easy to remember but secure passwords they come with. Uses the new Netgear UP app for set up which is more advanced. Great range. We already had a nice N900 router from Netgear which we will give to my parents but this one has a bit more range and speed we were looking for. I looks super cool too. Wish it would stand up to save space but we will probably hang it on the wall now.

I did my research before I went in to buy this router - so I wasn't surprised at the increase in speed and wifi range over my old router. What did surprise me was how easy it was to install. I thought I'd have to work for quite awhile on setting it up, but it was practically plug and play. The auto-configuration function got it up and running in no time. I live out in the country, and my DSL max speed is only 3mbs - when you're working with such a tight bottleneck, systems slow down pretty quickly - but this router's smart bandwidth allocation system has helped with gaming and streaming video.

My house is a long one story home and I was having trouble getting a strong signal from one end of my house to the other with my existing Centurylink Actiontec c1000a modem/router combo unit. Purchasing this Netgear Nighthawk router/modem solved that problem. It has a stronger signal and greater range than any other modem/router combo unit I have owned. If you are using CenturyLink as your ISP then this unit is a great choice because it works on their network.

The Netgear Knighthawk AC1900 Modem/Router was easy to install and setup. The modem/router operates great. Router provides internet service throughout entire house and beyond to other buildings on our property.

This router provided very good wifi for our house, we replaced a 4-5 year old Netgear unit that was starting to need reset every now and then. This new unit provides a solid signal for all our devices, and was easy to set up. It is like having two routers in one, as you see two different devices to get hooked up too. One of them is 5G which I was told by a friend is a faster speed. Both seem to work well!

My last router/modem was giving me so much trouble, So when reading about other router/modems I decided that this was the one that I would go with even though its a little pricey. I have great connectivity, no interference, and fast speed that is capable of supporting my many devices. Worth the extra money!!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

It took a little time to connect to the Verizon network.. A bit frustrating not sure if its Verizon or the router ..But once it connected it works flawlessly. Very fast and very reliable.. So bare with the frustration, be patient .. Its well worth it ..

After some, but not all, functionality with two modem/routers, I took the plunge on the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 (my ISP is CenturyLink). After a quick set-up, and minimal fine-tuning, I have my home office and all wireless devices throughout the house working great -- I believe this modem/router selects the best band (2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz) for each device -- BOOM! No problems since set-up.

I really love this product. The router plus the modem buit in makes for a nice clean look on my shelf. This thing is fast and has really nice transfer speeds. I have about 10 devices connected to the Wi-Fi and this thing hasn't hiccuped once.

I’ve tried to avoid the premium cost of this combo modem/router, but I finally caved-in after repeated dropped signals. This unit has provided fast and reliable WiFi since I installed it. Not hearing the family complain of dropped connections and not having the TV always trying to reconnect if worth every penny.

Was having issues with Verizon's junk modem/router. This solved all the problems. The range is excellent. Large two story home and coverage is great for numerous devices.

Delivers Full Centurylink Speed, Easy Setup

Delivers my full Centurylink speed, 44.85/4.65 Mbps. I pay for 40/5 connection speeds and this router/modem gives me what I pay for. Setup is pretty much straight forward. Just follow the Netgear instructions and you'll get 90 percent of the way there, the other 10 percent takes a bit of networking WiFi background (not that I'm a wizard, but you'll have to know what's going on.) At first I had some dropped connection issues with the 20 or so devices I have connected at any one time. I'd optimize settings for Win10 or Android and suddenly our Apple and Samsung TV's would drop connections or be unable to resolve DNS servers, (I found Google DNS servers work the best for me). Then you'd fix Apple connection problems and Win10 and Android would would become problematic (adjusting MTU worked for me). Finally got everyone living happily together and no more dropped connections or modem resets. There were a few more minor problems, but all your answers are on-line. There's nothing you can do about Centurylink service, so don't think this will cure those or bring world peace. It's a great DSL modem/router and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

We bought this device with our CenturyLink one crashed and burned. It wasn't the cheapest one BB had, but it allowed us to really step up our wifi options and clear up some issues we have had for quite a while. My IT friends are impressed, it was easy to install-feels like a win.

Very easy to install! Looks nice, gives strong signal in all areas of my home, supports streaming of many devices for data hungry family, and does not cross channels with many other home signals on the neighborhood!

Switched from a Centurylink DSL modem to this. I was surprised the set up went so well. I had fear the DSL portion would be difficult but it seemed to find the info it needed all by itself and connected the first time. The web portal set up program is pretty straight forward. I do wish I had a little more range with it though. I was hoping for increased signal being that it had the gain external antennas but in the end I don't see much more distance than the old unit.

The Nighthawk is the best wireless modem/ routers I have ever purchased. Easy setup, dual band. (I saved the 5G for my stuff :)) Nice range from inside the house to the end of our half acre yard.
