I have to say wow. I am running optimum fiber 500mbs and i have tried all the tp link mesh systems and also a few orbi. They came up short and only gave me 225 mbs and max 335. My home is 3 floors and about 4000 square feet. I purchased the nighthawk mesh system and set it up in under 10 mins. I have a smart house so everything is either wired to my new nighthawk mesh system or on wifi. I ran 4 speed test on these and im getting on a low 856mbs and max 1.3gbs. Hands down this is great all my iptv are playing 4k and 8k i would recommend anyone with a home about 4000 square feet this is the right one to buy. Great job nighthawk

I know many people have had issues with these, but I have only faced one major issue (and one annoying one). Major issue - using some named SSID's will cause the entire system to stop working. There is one long article out there that talks about this on the Netgear site, and the fix is to set 2.4 to channel 6, and 5 to channel 48 (do this before you change the SSID, or after if you hard wire into it). Google MR60/MS60 not working with specific SSID's to find the thread. Otherwise, the system works great. Fast speeds and good reliability. Minor - some older devices don't handle swapping satellites very well (Fire tablet 7). Phones and laptops work great, but the Fire tablet will drop connection sometimes.

I did some research and found these to be an excellent choice for the price. I put the main one in my office, one in the living room, and the other in the bedroom. I now get 700Mbps+ in the bedroom when I used to get 300-400Mbps

I recently had the opportunity to test the Netgear Nighthawk AX1800 mesh system, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. This router and satellite combo promises to deliver fast and reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home, and it definitely lives up to its claims. Firstly, setup was a breeze thanks to the intuitive mobile app and step-by-step instructions. Within minutes, I had the router and satellite up and running, and the app even guided me through placing the satellite in the optimal location for maximum coverage. Once connected, the Nighthawk AX1800 delivered lightning-fast Wi-Fi speeds, with consistent connectivity across all areas of my home. This was especially impressive considering the numerous walls and obstacles in my home that typically weaken Wi-Fi signals. The router also comes with advanced security features, including WPA3 encryption and NETGEAR Armor™, which provides protection from cyber threats such as malware and phishing. Another great feature is the ability to manage and customize your network settings via the app. This includes setting up guest networks, parental controls, and prioritizing devices for faster speeds. Overall, the Netgear Nighthawk AX1800 mesh system is an excellent choice for anyone looking for reliable and fast Wi-Fi coverage throughout their home. Its easy setup, advanced security features, and customizable settings make it a top contender in the mesh router market. Highly recommended!

Best mesh system I have seen for coverage, speed, value. Until I installed this, very frustrated in wide two story home (4000 sf), including with competition mesh. This system has never faulted or slowed, even with several streaming devices and phones going at the same time. I have recommended the system to 10 colleagues, all of whom thanked me, as it solved their video and other remote work issues. Also extremely easy to install and reset. Thankfully no need to contact Netgear support.

My wife and I were having signal issues with our wifi after moving into a new apartment. I replaced our old router with this mesh system and all the connectivity and speed isues we were having, totally gone. Definitely recommend a mesh wifi set up. When we move again I'll be picking up more satellites to increase the coverage

I purchased this Nighthawk system due to a failure of my internet provider to supply a stable and reliable WiFi signal throughout my relatively small apartment. The setup process was very straight-forward and easy to follow. One piece of advice: if you have your WiFi set up through your provider's equipment and want to keep your current network name (SSID), you'll need to rename the one in your provider's gateway otherwise you will run into a name clash during the setup. If Netgear made this point in their setup instructions, I missed it, and it bit me towards the end of the process. Now that I have this system installed I no longer have the coverage limitations or poor reliability that I had prior to purchase. An added benefit, the companion app will show you the real bandwidth being delivered down the wire. In my case, there's a close to 20% difference between what my provider claims I'm getting and what I'm really getting.

Amazing product, I had a ton of problems this some areas of my home, (obviously the further you are from your router the weaker the signal) but since buying this system I havent had. ANY issues at all keep in mind I did have to mess with the possitioning of the units to find the right please ffor the router and the 2 satellites.- I ended up buying an extra satellite for my back yard. A plus was the easy set up,

I needed coverage that would be sufficient with my ring doorbell in the front of my house and also strong enough to run apps on my TV out back by my tiki bar and pool. Then I wanted it to reach out over 500ft to my back parking pad where I park my RV and run apps on that TV. The mesh wifi 6 does all of this flawlessly. Could not be happier.

Cheaper than other mesh networks, range is great, and even moving across ISPs is a nonissue. It just works, while others require configuration and setup whenever you stop using them for a bit or switch ISP.

Very impressed with the Nighthawk AX1800 mesh wifi system! We had an old Netgear Nighthawk router (roughly 3 years ago) that was having difficulty keeping up with our needs, so we had slow speeds and devices disconnecting during heavy use. We have several smartphones, tablets, or laptops connected to the network at any given time so this was getting to be particularly frustrating especially during working hours. Between streaming content for fun and working from home, we needed something that would be more consistent and this did all that and more. It filled up the dead zones in our home so wifi works flawlessly throughout now. My wifi speeds on my phone more than doubled, and at one point I did a speed test and had 300mbps on wifi on my phone! Amazing! Setup was a breeze with the Nighthawk app, by far the easiest network configuration tool I've ever had to use. The only thing that was annoying is the BitDefender free trial they bundle with it, as it spies on what you do online and it was not particularly helpful with its scans or notifications so it felt a bit gimmicky. Bear in mind that you will need a network switch if you have devices linked up to your old router via ethernet cable, these satellite boxes only have 1 ethernet port on the back of each of them. Super pleased with this purchase!
