Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Nighthawk AX2400 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router's ease of use, performance, and range. Many appreciate the strong signal, straightforward setup, and the helpful app. While some experienced occasional connection issues or compatibility problems, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the negative.

This device is giving me the absolute worst experience trying to set up WiFi in my home and driving me close to insane. It refuses to cooperate with my ISP (spectrum) and modem to connect to Internet. It will literally just show fault connection every single time. The app does not give any material help troubleshooting this issue. And when I call their customer service, they tried me kick me around, making me call ISP. I will be returning this.

I bought this as my Directv one bit the dust on a weekend and it was going to be a week before they could come out to fix the problem even though I knew what was wrong. BUT this will not work with Att- Directv wiring! So never got to use it. It’s still in the box as i wasn’t able to return it. So buyer check what kind of hookup u have before buying this. Took it out of box tried to use it but just ended up with a nice router I can’t use.

First problem it would not connect(bad cable) then it would not connect to windows 7 even though listed on the box and troubleshooter rep. Had to end up buying a plug in wifi adapter. This computer was hooked up to the old router with no problems. Also this router seems to switch between 2.4 and 5g on its own

Apparently all newer netgear routers now require a modem. I have fiber to the door the isp steps down to a rj45 so all i have to do is plug in the router & go. Not so w/ the newer nighthawks and I even called netgear help about it. I have an asus router arriving tomorrow.
