Customers are saying

Customers regard the Nighthawk EAX80 AX6000 WiFi extender as having excellent range and ease of use, with many praising its simple setup and ability to extend WiFi 6 networks. However, some users experienced connection issues and inconsistent performance, leading to negative feedback. The accompanying app also received criticism for its functionality. While many found the extender improved their WiFi coverage, concerns were raised about the value for the price.

So far so good. I had a netgear extender that eventually died. Worked without having to change settings. Just got the app to recognize it and go. Bear in mind these extenders in my experience just seem to last 2-3 years before you have to replace them.

I purchase the netgear night hawk router rax120 and the 5Ghz signal is weak in my gym area where I spend lots of time there. I have a 43in. Samsung flat screen panel Sony ps4 pro and Amazon 4k firestick hook up wirelessly on 5Ghz bandwidth. With this with this mesh extender using the same ssid as main router I can truly say that streaming/gaming is fast with no connection issue using this mesh extender. I even purchase a second one to put on the other end of my house. Set up was easy.

Works well. Setting up with the app wasn't that much fun. Sometimes won't let me access it versus the Nighthawk router. Does what it should.

I bought this in hopes to extend my coverage of AX to the other side of the house. At first it worked well. I now find myself rebooting it at least once a week. I purchased it on 7/22 of this year and should not be having this much trouble already. I used to trust Netgear as the go to brand. But not anymore. Their products are garbage and have no quality control.

This is easy to set up but I had a nighthawk modem router that broke so I ended up returning this as well. Seemed to work well for the week I had it but I didn’t keep it long enough to give a great review.

I ran a 100' ethernet cable from my router to this EAX80 and now I have a strong wifi signal covering my entire property. I also don't have to worry about having multiple networks to change back and forth. My phone connects seamlessly between router and extender.

With so many devices streaming in the home these days, Home Network's require robust throughput and excellent signal strength to provide the many home devices an avenue for connectivity. This Extender provides the additional signal strength and high throughput streaming channels for thirsty bandwidth electronics.

I bought this and wasn't sure i needed it as i was figuring out the best place for my netgear router. I placed the new router upstairs in my 5000sqft house and this downstairs in the family room with an LG oled smart tv and my office/den. works great. doesn't drop. connects well. Just wish netgears support didn't take so long to get a hold of someone--your on hold forever but when you finally reach someone they ae pretty good.

I have six Wi-Fi security cameras. Frontyard to backyard and places in between. I first bought the eax20 extender. It was ok, but I always had one camera getting a weak signal no matter where I placed this extender. I decided to upgrade and spend more money. This eax80 fit the bill just right. My Wi-Fi reaches into the backyard so I can even use my cell phone on Wi-Fi. The real hero of my review is Best Buy. Through all my trial and errors, they were nice and understanding with my returns even if they were a few days late. This puzzle is solved. New found respect for Best Buy. Thank you!
