Seamless integration with the Comcast/Xfinity platform. Quick and easy to setup. It has a really good strong signal in all areas of our house and we run at least 6 streaming devices at a time (more intermittently). No problems. It’s a bit pricey, but worth the investment if you consider what the cable providers charge monthly (over years), it is worth the upfront investment.

Added this to a Nighthawk AX8 Router and used the smart feature from the menu / firmware. Up and running using the WPS for the clone handshake, getting 501 Mbps down and 404 Mbps up ! I only pay for 400/400! The app was a little bit clunky, so WPS button on Extender and AX8 worked fine. This thing is a little pricey, as well as the AX8 but, I have a 4000 sq ft casa.

With this product I am able to access WiFi seamlessly throughout my house and even my backyard and garage. I have a digital projector that I hook up to a roku in the backyard for movie nights during the summer. This device will give me a reliable connection. Also able to stream music wirelessly to speakers in my backyard. Love this extender! Very easy to set up and connect to existing internet.

I purchased this to extend my wifi out to a living space above my garage about 100 ft. out behind my house. Put this inside my home at a back window which faces the garage. Rooms above the garage then went from 0 bars to 4 bars of wifi. Pretty great range. I was supprised
Setup wasn't easy though. WPS button never worked with my router. Netgear phone app never allowed me to connect to configure. But just connecting with my pc worked fine and allowed me configure correctly and easily.
Once configured it mimics your current wifi network (password and everything) so no hopping to a different network when you move around. Computers can go from the main router in the house to the network out side seamlessly when you walk around.

I would have given the extender 5 stars if I didn't have so much trouble setting it up. My problem was with the one wi-fi name which would not work for me. After 4 or 5 calls to Netgear they finally suggested to give the extender a separate name after which I have had nothing but smooth sailing. I am getting excellent coverage with no problems. I don't like to ding products for not great tech support but after my second call I should have been passed to a second tier support agent who probably would have figured out a solution to my problem. The extender is really fine just be aware of this potential issue.

The setup instructions are easy to follow. There are a number of steps to get it set up but it integrates easily with your existing router and can use the same name and password so you don't have to switch as you move through the house. Range is great, it provided the necessary coverage for the upper two floors of my rather large house. Very happy with the product even if it is a little pricy.

I have had this extender for a few months now, paired with an X10 router. The X10 provides very good wifi throughout my house, except the family room back of the first floor. So I added this extender in that room. With the wired ports also, I have a couple of devices plugged into it, and very good wifi now throughout the house. I have had a couple of quirky points with this and the X10. Seem to get solved by pushing the firmware update through again and resetting the equipment. I had been running a Linksys Velop mesh system for a while, but nodes would just drop off at random points and I wanted more stability as I started streaming video a lot more throughout the house (via plex more so than external streaming). The netgear products have worked well, with the exception of a couple of odd incidents.

This is one powerful unit. Works far better than my previous WiFi extender, putting out a greatly improved signal strength at a far greater distance on both 2.4 and 5ghz. Seamless connection using the identical network name on my Verizon FiOS router. I love how far this technology has advanced is such a short time, and is easier than ever to setup. You really can’t go wrong with Netgear products in my opinion!

Configuration was relatively easy considering it is setup as an access point not the usual wifi extender setup. Signal strength and coverage is good and an improvement over the Netgear R7000 which did not penetrate multiple stucco covered walls as well with 5ghz as this extender. The configuration web page console is clear and straight forward. Highly recommended product.

Got this to improve signal across my 1300 sq ft home, as a stone chimney in the middle of the house was blocking all signals from the router. Now getting 250-500 Mbps across the entire house with extension up to 100 ft into the yard. Setup was easy but absolutely could not get the app to work, which was a bummer. Still using the cable company’s router, which is dodgy at best, so I expect any issues stem from that and not the Nighthawk (but can’t be sure). Planning to bring in an Orbi system to solve those issues.

I was looking for a range extender for a Nighhawk router that would simulate the new mesh routers with a single SSID (network name). This one seems to work alright, and will definitely extend your WiFi coverage and speed?

I have a nighthawk router that covered most of my house. I needed to cover the garage, some upstairs rooms, and a porch and camera area outside. This extender provides that coverage, and was easy to set up. My devices switch seamlessly from the router to the extender as I walk through the house and outside. Outstanding product!

Purchased this extender to replace two legacy extenders that only supported 802.11N. This extender is great and has more than double the range and speed with 802.11AC as it uses a dedicated band for traffic back to our router down stairs.
It also works with any router and does not locking you to a certain brand and allows Seamless roaming by using the same SSID as our router.

I have a large home and already had this extender which worked great. When I found out that you can add multiple extenders to further increase coverage, I decided to add an additional extender so I would also have coverage in my backyard. They are easy to set up and come with great Android apps which help you manage your WiFi network.

This did the trick to take care of dead spots that weren't getting a decent signal. It's super fast and was easy to set up. Now the entire house has fast gigabyte speeds. Great product and would recommend ...

This product went above and beyond my expectations. I thought that the range I was looking to extend the internet to was too far. But it wasn’t and better yet, the signal strength is strong enough to comfortably stream and play games.
I was really hesitant at first but I’m happy o say this product has been better than expected!!

It does exactly what it says it will do. Even though I set this up at the very edge of my routers range it extended my range to cover 2 floors and out to an attached 3 car garage, boosted my signal to all of the connected tech and didnt drag my router speed down to do it. Super easy set up ( via app)

Have enjoyed this Wi-Fi extender for about three weeks. Bought it primarily to extend my range into our backyard. Placed it into my garage, closed the garage door, which is made of metal and sit about 30’ away. Great signal! Not a full signal, but enough to run YouTube videos without any buffering.

This was exactly what I needed. Very easy to install and keeps the same WiFi network as your original router. Range is great, especially for 2.4 ghz and .the 5..0 ghz is very good as well (considering the range for 5.0 ghz is expected to be shorter than 2.4 ghz). I haven't seen anything material in the way of drop-off- signal is strong when in range.

This is a great addition to any wifi system. There were some dead spots in my house, and this device did the trick and optimized the coverage to every nook! Very impressive impact and easy to setup for the most novice technical person. You will not believe how great this extender is until you experience it! Netgear strikes another home run!!!
