I bought this on good sale, but it was still very expensive. It works pretty well but I need to reboot it once in a while due to slow or no response from various web sites. Had to return 1st one due to very loose power connector at unit - seemed to be possible cause of intermittent problems? New one is still very loose - unacceptable when you consider the cost.

Love this router! Setup was simple and the range this router has is great! My wifi signal reaches the entire block. There are several advanced features and controls, a user friendly interface and great looking form. Highly recommend

Does great running the WI-FI through the whole house. Fixed the issues of a cut up house. Back running on all six cylinders. Before is was like having spark knock with engine run on. It would spin but wasn't going anywhere!

We have a two story 5800 square foot home and thirty some wireless devices. So far we are pleased with the performance. Good bandwidth and range. We think the unit is somewhat overpriced, hence four instead of five stars.

The Netgear Nighthawk X8 5300 was very easy to setup. It is very fast even with multiple devices connected. I have a 1900 square foot ranch home and I get a strong signal everywhere in the house, and even out on the deck.

I have no complaints about the performance, just hoped for a larger coverage area. I live in a two story house and there is a noticeable drop in signal strength down stairs. I wound up getting a range extender and now all is well. Still on the fence about whether it is worth the price though. Would recommend to a friend price tag not withstanding.

I bought this router hoping that it would significantly improve speed and the ability for multiple people to be online at the same time without slowing my network down. Although it has improved somewhat, I was hoping that this would be faster and more robust and have better range.

Easy installation and was able to link my older router to it as an access point. Signal is strong in all rooms of the house. My house has three levels. Router is able to handle all the devices in the home including guests.

This is a great router and provides excellent coverage with minimal issues. Setup was easy and fairly quick. I have only had to restart it once due to power outage, but it connected right back up again to all my devices.

Had a little difficulty setting up router at first. I was replacing an older router and didn't know that each device needed to have the old router dropped and recreate the link on each device. It would be nice if the instructions noted that when you are replacing an router. Now that that issue was resolved the new router is working flawlessly!
