Easy setup, great price, extended range I highly recommend

This router was easy to install and is perfect for picking up my Amazon FireTV Stick,which is in another room in my house. I am also going to use it with my computer. I had no problem linking up with my Linux Laptop,

We have a single floor apartment that is approximately 1600 square feet. The router covers the entire apartment without any dead spots. It was easy to setup and the signal is strong and reliable. My wife will be streaming netflix, I'll be playing xbone, while both of us are downloading something on our pcs, all without interruption.

Simple to set up. Very long range and super speed.

I bought this router to replace my old one. This is a really good product for its price. I currently have 5 devices connected to it and it works just fine. The old one that I had would slow down the speed by half but the new one works fine. I checked the upload/download speed on my laptop and it is almost the same as my desktop.

I recently had a problem with my old router malfunctioning and went to go purchase a new one. This NETGEAR router has done the job of my old one ten fold. It has easy setup instructions and have not had any connection issues with it at all. I would definitely recommend this item. Reasonable price for an excellent job.

Easiest setup, and I love how it has multiple wifi connections whether it's 5g, 2.5g or the guest account. We share it with upstairs and can easily manage it by giving them only the guest account. I love this feature. The Internet speed is reliable with over 7 people using it at once!! Just set it up and you're good to go !

I love Netgear products. This is my 2nd Netgear Router. This is replacing my Netgear router that lasted 6 years.. I had a Linksys before the first Netgear and was the worst router ever! Tried calling Linksys customer service in India and the language barrier was frustrating at best! I will always buy Netgear in the future.

I needed to quickly replace an old router that had died. The Netgear Range Max was an excellent choice. The set up was fast and easy and our wireless LAN was back up and running in no time. A very pleasant surprise was the major improvement in transmission speed versus the old unit. Connections are now lightning fast!

I needed to get a new router since my old one wasn't providing us with a good range. This one provide us with an excellent signal strength throughout the entire house. We have a faster WiFi connection allowing us to stream videos and play online gaming with very few glitches. Very easy to set up and start using.

So far so good. We use this as a 2nd router as the signal from the main unit doesn't reach the back of the house. We haven't experienced any issues with dropped signals. Signal strength is good. It's a smallish unit and is reasonably unnoticed.

VERY EASY TO INSTALL. I WENT FROM 3GB TO 50GB BROADBAND SO OF COURSE THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT PRODUCT. HAVE NOT FOUND 'HICK-UPS' YET. HOUSE SIZE 2675 SQ FT AND IT CONNECTS FROM EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE AND OUTSIDE IN YARD AS WELL. I LOVE IT

This is a great product easy to install , small and compact ,and operation is fast !the performance of this product is also really smooth when streaming movies ! I really like this brand of router !

Needed to change N300 as I was not getting a desired speed for $100+ mb internet speed package and this works great. Fast speed and high range. on 5-6 devices gives 30 mbps speed if internet plan is 100+ mb speed. Not tested with less internet speed but for sure response will be great.

Got this router after my Netgear router died. My old Netgear router has been loyal for nearly 8 years, and this new one seems to be going strong so far. The setup is easy and instructions are clear and easy to follow. Signal is strong throughout our house (two story, four bedrooms) and we get signal in the driveway and backyard too. Minus one star because the legs are super light and the unit is a bit top heavy. Due to the imbalance in weight, the unit flops over easily with any light tension on the cable. We used old dictionary books to brace it on one side. Aside from that minor issue, it's a solid unit.

I was upgrading my computer system and wanted a wireless router that was both affordable and easy to use. A sales rep suggested this Netgear router. He also mentioned that, compaired to some other wireless router they sold, he had seen very few comebacks/returns. I'm not very tech savy, but I found this device far easier to install than my antiquated Belkin router. I'm not sure how the range is for a large house, but it works fantastic in my small apartment.

This router was so simple to install, almost did all by itself. Even I could do it! Seems to work good, have always had Netgear products and they all have worked great. Just wanted a newer one because the one I had was old but still working. Good product.

I purchased this for an HP computer that didn't have bluetooth capability to connect to a printer. The wifi antenna I already had only connected at about .4 Megs from our Comcast router. This router boosted our speeds up to almost 10 Megs to the same computer. Hugh improvement.

Great product. I've been using this router for 2 weeks now and so far, it's perfect. My home network now runs fast, I can stream things on it from the router attached hard drive, download torrents without a PC, monitor network activity and limit bandwith per computer or set of computers. Setting up the router was easy and hassle-free. Just one warning. I don't think the setup instructions include an injunction to change the router's admin password as soon as possible. This is something you should do right away, or else anyone can get into your router settings and muck around with it. You can do it in two quick steps: (1) Open a web browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and hit Go. This will take you to the router settings page. The page will prompt you for a username and password, which will be the default ones if you haven't yet changed them--on mine the default username was "admin" and the default password was "password". (In any case, the default username/pw should be listed in the router's documentation.) (2) You should be in the "NETGEAR genie" page. Click on the "ADVANCED" tab, then click on the "Administration" tab below it to expand the menu. Click on "Set Password." Now you can change the password to something more secure. So far this router has been running downloading thigs Regarding the physical build of the router... At first, I was quite surprised at how light the router feels and that it's actually somewhat smaller than what the photo had me believe. The plastic case is sturdy enough that it feels it will last. The case is full of vents, probably why I haven't felt the unit get hot with use. I highly recommend that you use this router for your home network if you're looking for a cheap and functional network device. It's definitely the best value deal you'll find.

My other router kept losing a connection. This one never does and is a lot better of a connection and makes the Internet run smoother for all my devices. Setup was very easy and took about 5 minutes to set up. I'm very happy with this router so far and would recommend to anyone.
