I purchased this modem because I had trouble with a second modem from ATT. The NetGear modem has worked well. I also now have parental controls that I did not have with the ATT modem.

I purchased this because it was a great price and tried to use with Centurylink and did not want to purchase their modem. I had upgraded to 40 mbps but needed a new modem that would support VDSL2 and was bonded. I tried to make this one work but it does not and I do not think Netgear makes one that is compatible with DSL higher speeds. I would have liked it if I had a different provider. I returned it with no hassles. Bought one of Centurylinks.

Was easy to setup and does what it should. A lot faster than our old century link modem that we had. Our ping times literally were cut in half.

The product was very easy to set up. Just wish it had an internet light that showed the connection. Other than that, it works fine.

HUbby had to call customer support to get it totally set up. He is an experienced with computers so that was a frustration. Customer service was quick to help.

I bought this modem to replace the standard issue that comes from my wireless provider. Works great especially with the matching wireless router from Netgear

Four weeks ago I went to Best Buy to find a replacement for my ZyXEL C1100Z that had become very disruptive to streaming. The Best Buy associate, without hesitation, handed me a NETGEAR DM200 and a NETGEAR D7000 Nighthawk. The combination proved to be the right product choices for my CenturyLink IP service. The setup was quick and easy, and the performance has been outstanding. Thank you Best Buy!

I bought this modem simply because I use a netgear router. Wal-Mart did not carry any DSL modems in the store and this was the only one available at Best Buy 40 miles away. Spent over an hour with the first netgear tech helper. After all that time he told me it was defective and to return it. Tried again with another helper the next day. She walked me through it with no problems. It failed again a week later. Spent over another 1 + hours talking to netgear not understanding half of what the man was saying. By the time I could try to get it back to Best Buy 15 days had passed and they refused to return it. Got a modem/router from my provider, he had me up and running in 20 minutes. Netgear does not do refunds. I pay almost $9 to mail it back to them to get another one which I now no longer need on top of added expense. My recommendation... don't buy one.

Works as advertised. Very compact and was easy to set up Saves $10 a month in savings over leasing the isp modem. Pays for itself in a short period of time.

Was looking a modem that could be used for broadband. This is a great product. Rate it a four due to the price.

Easy setup, seems to work fine. Hard to find DSL modems, so this is a pretty good option

Was constantly loosing internet connection with the buck 98 modems from Frontier Communications ! Netgear dm200 works great for speeds up to 200 MB’s although I only get 3 MB’s ! The only downside it has that I can see is when it looses power you have to hold reset button down for 60 seconds then wait 30 seconds to plug in phone and cat 5 plug to my router !

The router let me know by its user friendly model that i had no connection to the internet and was easy to find direction how to get it fixed.

It seems like we lose connection with the router, even though it shows that we are connected. Overall, we are happy with this router.

Easy to setup and seemed to work great for the 2 weeks we used it with AT&T DSL. Saves money from renting or purchasing a modem from the phone company. Unfortunately the DSL speeds are so slow compared to the cable company in my area. I had to cancel the service and return this modem. However I would buy it again if I moved to an area with faster DSL.

Though there were only 2 choices to select from, The modem was easy to install and connect to CenturyLink.

Was not fully working at its peak because of my internet provider but when it did work it was fast will hang on to for later date

Easy to set up. Had it going in 10 minutes. Saving a lot of money using CenturyLink as result.

Super awesome modem for dsl. Sleek and small design. Discrete. Great for tabletop display or easy to hide away from guests and/or kiddos.

NETGEAR - VDSL/ADSL Broadband DSL Modem is easy to set up and I use the Netgear Wi Fi router. I am very pleased with this purchase.
