    BUYER BEWARE! This product blows air but only cool air in cool temperatures and hot air in hot temps. The electrical cord is short. The ice packs are tiny but not small enough to drop into the tank - the fan part has to be lifted off then the blue hose must be repositioned to the bottom of the tank to draw up the water in the top reservoir. The water will be cold in the reservoir with hot air blowing out of the fan in the evaporative cooler status. 2 engineers checked it out and stated it was defective. The instructions are minimal and the machine requires the remote to be used, There is only a 2 week return policy and the customer service line does not answer the phone.

    Just received today and impressed with the easy set up and amount of air flow. It is a little loud but the amount of air is great!

    Love it. Has been great in the heat wave and works well in dry California where I live. Only thing I would improve is to make the little door the opens so you can add water in bigger so ice packs would fit. It’s annoying to have to take the giant fan portion off the top to get ice packs in/out. Other than that though it works great

  • BROKE AFTER A WEEK

    I had the unit for two weeks and it wasn’t cooling very well, then tonight it started squeaking and now it wouldn’t turn on. Best part? Unreturnable. Never had problems with Best Buy products before so I’m quite upset. One star for everything because it’s not working.
