Haven’t had it installed a month yet and the 3M double sided tape has failed. Was dangling in my truck when I got in. This is in Ohio it wouldn’t last a week in Florida or texas. Disappointed for sure

Problem is, the 3M adhesive tape will lose it's strength after 8-10 months and on a hot or cold day, you'll find your camera dangling. This is the second mount that I've owned and both have had the same problem. Just buy extra 3M double sided tape and be ready to use it when the time comes

I just got tired of moving the base from car to car so I purchased this. Now I can use this in multiple vehicles without having to move the mount.

Good mounting solution for 622GW dash cam

It is identical to the mount that comes with the dash cam and works great. It has the option to mount using the suction cup attachment or the adhesive attachment. Works as advertised.

Thank you for your review! All of our cameras are tested between -20'C (-4F) to +45'C (113'F), although if the car temperature exceeds this you could potentially experience issues. We'd recommend removing the Dash Cam and placing in the glove compartment when the Dash Cam is not in use to prevent it being unnecessarily heated on the windscreen. When storing the Dash Cam for an extended time period, store within the following temperature range: from 0° to 25°C (from 32° to 77°F).

The permanent mount can be removed, with difficulty. Removing the mount from the part that attaches to the windshield is slightly difficult but can be done.

Great mount

These magnetic mounts work much better than the suction cup mount.

Easy to remove dash cam

We partner with 3M (the best in the business) with our adhesive pads. We see widespread success when the windshield is cleaned thoroughly, then dried and held in place for around 20 seconds to form a very strong seal.

Posted .Hello! Our dash cams do need to be connected the mount/power source to operate properly. They are not like our cell phones and laptops that take a charge and then work for X number of hours before needing to recharge. If you have any other questions, please let us know at [email protected]
