Had a great trip to the Galápagos Islands. Underwater pictures swimming with the piguines. Recommend this easy to use camera.

Love underwater photo and video taking ability! Bought and used it for beach vacation, both land and underwater pictures came out great. Just need to remember to clean/soak in tap water after using in ocean to remove sand grains. Served its purpose for what I needed.

I like to be by water with my kids and I am always the mom who takes pictures. This camera is great on that you can go underwater to take pictures, it can get splashed with no worries, and it takes excellent quality pictures. It's very easy to use. You can never go wrong with a Nixon camera.

Great Camera for when the weather isn't exactly perfect and so light weight. Takes great pictures for a beginner.

Used this camera for the first time this weekend. Takes beautiful pics. Easy to use. The auto setting is perfect.

I bought this for a trip to Hawaii to use while snorkeling. Upon the first use underwater it seemed to perform well. The buttons need to be pushed with heavier force than I've needed to use on other cameras. I liked the optical zoom. Unfortunately, the camera fell out of my pocket when I was getting back on my paddle board and I didn't realize it until I got back to shore. That was an expensive one time use and I don't have the pictures!

First time using it on a cruise/beach vacation. Great pictures easy to use. So far it's great, I had a cannon waterproof had to return it twice the screen keep getting foggy and cloudy. Only downside the whole camera have to be plugged in to charge.

This is my 3rd waterproof, shockproof, etc camera I have purchased over the course of several years. I have used the first Canon version; then the Olympus; and then purchased this one back in May 2015. My Olympus worked well, but finally stopped working after several years of hard service. I decided to try the Nikon based upon reviews of the previous model. I trusted the Nikon brand name and decided not to purchase the Geek Squad extended warranty. I felt the price of the extended warranty was too high for this camera. I used this camera as a normal point and shoot and was pleased with the picture quality, features, low light accuracy, and movie quality. So far, so good. I took it on vacation in mid June. I had been taking pictures for several days at Universal Studios Orlando. It worked well riding in my pocket while waling around or on thrill rides. One evening, I took it into the pool to take pictures of my son. I took two pictures underwater and then it slowly stopped working. It would not take a photo or movie, then the GPS stopped working; then it shut down. Yes, the battery/memory card door was securely shut, sealed, and locked when this happened. I took it back to the hotel room and noticed condensation on the LCD screen. I removed the battery and memory card and left the access door open overnight. The next morning, more condensation in the LCD viewer and a lot inside the camera lens. The memory stick was not damaged and I was able to retrieve my pictures. When I got home, I put the camera in a large vase filled with rice. It took two days, but all the condensation disappeared. I tried to charge it, but no luck. It would not charge or turn on. I contacted Nikon because it was still under manufacturer's warranty. I shipped it to the service center on June 26th, 2015. I am still waiting on a status update. I will update this post after I get a response from the repair facility.

Took it to the beach and didn't have to worry about getting it wet. Took great pictures and videos.

I was looking for a camera that was versatile and could be used while kayaking. This camera is feature rich and easy to use. It produces excellent photos and you can transfer photos wirelessly to iPhones, iPads and other devices. Great quality and good for more than underwater photos.

My son and I each bought one of these for our trip to the Galapagos. We used them multiple times per day for about ten days, and they both performed flawlessly. We had to charge each camera two or three times during the trip, and that meant we had to open the water-tight seal. I think incorrect use of this water-tight door may be the source of some complaints I've seen for this (and other) underwater cameras leaking and failing. We were sure to rinse the cameras in fresh water after each use and were careful to make sure the camera was dry before opening the water-tight door and had no problems at all.

Pros: (1) image quality is better than I expected for compact cameras in this price segment (2) especially good exposure when using the flash. (3) Excellent results in difficult situations. I like it and would recommend it to friends.

Easy to use and set up. Light weight. Works well. Worth the money for a point and shoot.

This is my second Aw130 Coolpix Camera. I do a lot of crawling under houses as well as on roofs and tight areas, and the Coolpix provides me with all the sharpness and versatility that I need in my Inspections. The wi-fi lets me transfer my pix to my report which is very convenient. The shock resistance and that it is waterproof adds to the value of the Camera! I have used this Camera not only in Business, but also on a trip to Colorado which I brought back pix that are down rite AWESOME!! I love this camera. It is light weight and takes awesome pictures and video!

This ended up being a spur of the moment buy for us, but we ultimately decided to buy this for an upcoming hiking trip. We tested it out at some local state parks and our community pool to see if we felt it took decent pictures compared to our more expensive cameras and we have to say, we were surprisingly pleased with the results! It's a perfect size to carry around for hiking and outdoor trails and takes great action shots and underwater shots as well! I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone who is looking for handheld sized camera that does it all with the comfort of knowing it can handle some outdoor roughness and water.
