As a birthday present to myself and to replace a camera that had been stolen, I wanted to buy a new camera and had narrowed my choices down to a few of them... upon seeing a great bundle deal for this camera I decided this was the one to buy. Once I was able to get out and take some pics with the camera, I found the camera to be a easy to use unit that takes great pics. My favorite subject to shoot so far is sunset shots and I've managed to get some great shots using this camera. If you are looking for a decent camera at a nice price and that is easy to use, this camera is for you!

I'm having so much fun trying all the different "Scenes" like "Moon", "Indoor Party", "Landscape". The video is fun and the WIFI mode was so easy to figure out!!! I've only had the camera for 2 days and I've already taken awesome pics of the moon, baby horses, and a birthday party. Then quickly edited and posted to Shutterfly.

This is a replacement for the L830 I had taken into Geek Squad for repairs. The screen cracked and it was still under warranty, and sadly they could not repair it. So I didn't want to go crazy with a digital camera, and couldn't afford a DSLR with the removable lenses, at least not yet. So, I went with the equivalent with what I had, down to the same color no less. This camera got its first test run at some local events and festivals, and I was impressed, then took it out for a big 4x4 show to get even more experience with it. I have to tell you, it is unreal the quality for the price. I am extremely pleased with this camera, and will use it until either I need to replace it, or ready to upgrade.

I bought this camera based on a recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. This camera is very easy to use and takes great pictures. Transfer was easy and I have received comments from friends about clarity of pictures posted. It would be a great camera for any skill set.

Very easy to use. Still getting used to the slight differences between old and new cameras. Pictures are very clear and sharp.

Nice camera, with great quality and lots of features. What I like the most about this camera is that now I can take astonishing pictures of the Moon (there's a special feature for taking pictures of the Moon), I can even see the craters and all that!!! Also great feature called "Bird watching" for birds. And one of my favorites is the close up feature that I've been using to take great pictures of flowers! Best of all, this camera has a great price!

I am still learning all the bells and whistles but am overall very pleased with the Nikon L840 camera. Focusing can be a problem with my fast moving puppy, and sometimes the sun blocks the view on the screen. For the price, I am very happy with the features and picture quality.

This is my first real "nice"/"major" digital camera, the last one I got as a graduation present 10 years ago, came with a printer and was maybe 3 megapixels. Over the past 2.5 months I have played around a lot with the camera and absolutely love it!!! It was great having it for Christmas with my step daughter, and our Zoo visit. There is a setting that takes 5-6 shots in one and is great for pulling out a still shot of something that is moving, like a running giraffe. There are also separate settings for taking pictures of the moon, sunsets, sports shots, fireworks, taking video, etc. I absolutely love the camera!!

I took a picture of the cold full moon on Christmas night and it came out super nice! It was clear and the picture came out beautifully. The greens and blues are very vibrant. Awesome point and shoot camera!

This camera is light weight and easy to use. I let my 6 year old Godson take pictures with it and he got some great shots. It's small enough to carry everywhere and the quality of the pictures is just awesome. Best purchase of the year so far.

My son said it was easy to learn to use and he loves the WiFi, after read the reviews on many different cameras, I decided on this one, just in case he where to lose interest, then I would end up with, have always wanted a Nikon!!!!!!!

Just returned from a trip to the west where this camera performed flawlessly with outstanding zoom capabilities and tremendous photo detail. Save me carrying two cameras. Love it!

This is my beginners camera. I intend to upgrade in the future. For a beginner, this camera takes awesome pictures. I love how it captures Eben moving subjects.

Zooms in great! Every picture that you take on the camera it can be transferred to your phone with an app in just a few seconds which is great! The picture qualities look like if a professional took them

This camera is great! I needed to downsize from my professional Nikon DSLR to a point & shoot. While comparison shopping I found I wasn't comfortable with the feel and handling of any of the newer slim models (any brand) so I opted for the Nikon L840 and glad I did. For me this camera is a hybrid between a simple point & shoot and a professional DSLR. Nikon is a great product and highly recommend it over any other brand.

We love this cam. Good pics. and fun to have around the house and car.We just love it.

Very happy with the pics from recent vacation. Simple to use and small enough not to be cumbersome. Wanted a little more than a Point and Shoot.
