I got this for my 11 year old son because he wanted to start making movies. This camera was recommended because of the video component. I also like that it has some waterproof and shock proof qualities.

Great item and small and portable and makes for a great gift. Easily understandable and easy to use. Takes great quality camera especially since I have a 32g memory card. Battery life is also pretty good

I bought this for my eleven year old granddaughter. She was able to take it and immediately understand the basic operation. The size was good because it's not too small which makes it easier to use.

This is a great camera to have around the water. It takes really nice photos above and below water. It's a great all around outdoor camera. If I get it dirty, I can just rinse it off and keep going.

Bought this for a vacation where both binoculars and camera would be in order. Didn't want to lug my Nikon DSLR so bought this small, lightweight item. It was handy to stash in a pocket but, being used to a viewfinder, I had a tough time trying to "find" the image, especially in bright daylight. The photo quality was fine and it turned out that most of the shots came out okay. If you haven't been "spoiled" by using a DSLR, this would be a fine little camera.

I bought this camera because it is waterproof. I used it while snorkeling in the Sout Pacific. The underwater pictures were of good quality. The problem I had with the camera was you couldn't see the screen on the back of the camera so I just pointed the camera in the direction I wanted. This worked only ok. I guess for the $100.00 I spent it was an ok investment.

This is the best little digital camera for a beginner. Very user friendly and affordable. Lots of bells and whistles for the price. A very good quality from Nikon.

My grandson is 8 and is constantly taking his Mom's phone to take photos. This camera is great. Very easy for him to operate. It is shock and water resistant.

Takes great underwater pics and videos! Takes great out of water pics as well. Lots of cool settings for different types of pics. Very glad we purchased this camera!

it's a simple point-and-shoot camera anybody can use it. It's waterproof and shockproof. Perfect camera to take to the beach.

The picture quality isn't fantastic but my kids had a blast taking underwater photos. The camera is cute and light and durable.

The ease of use made this great for taking pictures underwater. The color wasn't as good as I had hoped but it allowed me to have some great memories of my trip to the Bahamas. Good camera for the price.

Leaving tomorrow for Italy, so this review is a bit premature. It seems like a simple camera and easy to use. I cannot wait to actually use it in Italy, taking an extra battery and SD card just in case. Hope to take memorable pictures and maybe a short video.
