I find this dslr camera to be VERY easy to operate and figure out especially outside of the auto mode. I love that it came with the extra set of lens because it has been very useful in all that we do through Motovaded Magazine. Whether it is a photo shoot, capturing the "Raw Reality Moment" (as we like to call it) at an event or interviewing people through using the video option...it is just great with our Rode Mic attached. The video without the external mic attached isn't good at all because....well it is not meant for video...it is really for photography! But a $100 mic like we have and you got yourself a nice piece of equipment ;) Enjoy yours as I am! Namaste'

Having used Another brand for a long time, decided to buy Nikon , a great decision and good price. It is an excellent camera to have it on the go all the time. It take excellent pictures for babies, nature and Architecture buildings. Had great results using manually. Kids and birds are great subjects with this camera. Got many order and specially for corporate assignments. Would highly recommend this camera with additional 500 mm lense .

I'm not what you'd call a "photographer", but I do enjoy taking photos. My husband and my son are weekend drag racers and I wanted a good camera to capture those exhilarating moments of them racing down the drag strip.......I got more than I wished for in this little jewel of a camera. Nikon has made it so easy for even an amateur like me to produce high quality photographic memories that I'll have for a lifetime!!

I have researched entry level dslr cameras before buying them because I want to make sure I spend my money on the right camera. This has been a good choice for me. I am still trying to learn more about the controls and features. The pictures I have taken so far are food. It's not that heavy and the battery lasts 2 days for me with intermittent picture taking.

We bought the camera to take photos during our trip to South Africa this year. The camera is excellent for this purpose because it is affordable and easy transport and has very easy to learn settings that helped achieve our photographic goals. Oh, yeah and it takes great pics!

Everything arrived right on time. The service was excellent at the store. Kaleigh should get a raise and a promotion. When i buy again it will be from her. the camera works as advertized and was so much better than my last Nikon D40 that i was shocked. the photographs were much better in quality and great in low light. The camera can be as simple as a point and shoot or as versatile as a peofessional would need. the lens combination is great. A great camera and lens combo at a reasonable price. thinking of accessories already. Thanks for a pleasnt buying experience.

I have been taking pictures at several events. The children's birthday party pictures were great! They were taken outside in full sun. Then, I took pictures at a fireworks display. Each firework showed up clearly and colorful. I have also taken some great pictures of my pet miniature schnauzer. Love this camera!

I picked up this Nikon recently for my business ! We do a lot of picture editing and take action sports shots. Couldn't be happier. The guy who assisted us in buying the device was extremely helpful and also helped us get the bundle package that included the bag , additional lense & storage card. Love this camera !!!!! Also love the Anaheim store ! Everyone is so nice!

This is a simple camera to use and it takes amazing pictures! My husband and I horse back ride in the mountains and for the first time with this camera I was able to capture amazing pictures of wildlife!!

This is a great entry level DSLR. I've started a small photography business and my images are well-received. I also enjoy the camera's burst mode!

I have been learning since I purchased the camera, it has a lot of learning tools included but is also a camera which I will be able to use for a long time. I would highly recommend this camera!

24MP camera with two lenses for $500. This is a greater value than any of the point and shoot cameras. They are discontinuing the model; hence the GREAT price.

This camera takes great shots and videos. We used it for a trip to Greec and have so many wonderful memories. We were a mile and a half from the Parthenon and the pictures we took were wonderful. Only thing was no tripod for night shots but I guess thats my fault didn't need to do selfies, since there are both the timer mode and remote control unit to fire the shutter.

Excellent camera, it has really been a big addition to my family. Our son was in the Mardi Gras Court and I was able to capture some amazing photos of him.

I am going to be honest, I have never owned a digital SLR camera (30 years old) This review is for those SLR beginners like myself. I have never had the money to spend on a digital SLR but since now we have two boys at home and D3200 finally came out I felt justified to spend the extra bucks. I have had the D3200 for 5 days now and even though I have not had the chance to take it outside that much, here are my impressions: 1. Pictures are amazingly crisp and true to the color, simply beautiful 2. FPS is fast and satisfying. 3. Takes Amazing videos with great sound 4. Love the view finder, specially, since in this camera it's smarter and more detailed/informative than most LCDs 5. The manual booklet is a good start for someone like me. 7. The LCD screen is so well pixilated that you can see the quality of your pictures right there and then 8. The camera is the perfect size (specially if you're on the move and have your hands full already like me), light wight and grips well 9. Battery is still on the original charge after about 200 pics and 10 videos
