Bought as a Christmas gift for the wife. Hard to beat camera phones but this blows them all away. Recommend the wireless upgrade for $50 rather than paying up the $350 for the camera! Free app lets you transfer professional (holiday card worthy) looking pics to your phone or computer in seconds! Best buy rep. rescued me from buying stuff I didn't need....rather than trolling customer views online, she knew her stuff! Could not be happier with the service & price was same as Amazon.

I love my camera and take it everywhere I go. I use the Nikkor 55-300mm lens all the time for wildlife pictures and action shots. I was pulled over by Military Police near Miramar Air Base in San Diego for taking pictures of F-18s doing touch and goes. The officer let me go after reviewing the pictures since the jet is not classified (secret). He seemed to like the pictures of the jets along with some other of my pictures. In the Sports mode it takes great pictures in fast order. I would highly recommend this camera and the package that comes with the 55-300mm lens. Its just a lot of fun taking action shots of surfing, mtn biking, rock climbing, and wild life. Its a great excuse to get out doors and enjoy life.

I've upgraded from a Canon EOS 20D to this. Excellent picture quality and faster focus than my previous cameras. Live view and video option is great as well. You can't beat this camera for the price.

It is a great camera for beginners. Lightweight and easy to attach lens. Takes a really nice picture. Not exactly a point and shoot but once it's ready to go it is unstoppable in performance.

Love it, love it. Definitely worth the price. I was looking for a better camera that i can use for years, but that was not too expensive. I did some research online and I came across this one. I liked it and got it. It's not difficult to use and it takes great pictures. One of my favorite things about this camera is that I will zoom in and the pic won't blur.

I did a lot of research before buying a camera and this met all my expectations. It is easy to use, with multiple settings and light enough/small enough to take with me on weekend adventures!

I have a disability and the muscles in my right arm never developed. I have a Cannon Rebel XTI, but so many of the pictures end up with motion blur because of my inability to sustain the weight of the camera. I would say that the Nikon D3300 weighs about the same, but the stabilizers are superior. I am loving the crystal clear shots. Easy to use!

I am certainly no professional photographer, and this camera takes excellent photos! I was tired of smartphone photos of my child (and everything else) that were not clear unless lighting was perfect and everyone was holding still (not happening with a preschooler), and forget about zooming in and not drastically reducing image quality. Since I still have lots to learn about photography, the fact that this camera takes great photos in auto mode is a huge plus...even this beginner seems to have a hard time taking a bad photo. I have the ability to change lenses and switch to manual mode as I get more comfortable and look forward to having more control over my shots.

I have use this camera for sports (baseball games), Birthday Parties, Outdoor Playground photos of grandkids, and Nature photography. Has excellent features. Automatic modes are as easy as point and shoot cameras, but has more advanced modes that allow you to control what you want for the desired results. Battery life is excellent.

I upgraded from a Cannon Eos Rebel that I bought about 10 years ago, it was a 12mp. This Nikon takes 24mp pictures, is much lighter and takes video. So far it works great.

Nikon doesn't disappoint. Not the same as my D200 in body structure but light and full of features. For an inexpensive F body DSLR you can't go wrong with this camera.
