Customers are pleased with the camera's quality, ease of use, and affordable price. Many also appreciate its lightweight design and the inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity. While some found the size a bit large and auto focus speed could be improved, the positive feedback on image quality and user-friendliness outweighs these minor drawbacks. The additional lenses are a welcome feature for many users.

I have a 10 year old Nikon so this was a no brainer for me. I am still in the learning stage with this camera but so far, it is nice and easy. It came with another lens so I have to try that out. But knowing Nikon, it should be simply great. Good camera to start and to end. Great product. The instruction booklet was very helpful in starting out and the instructions were easy to understand. I hope to take lots of photos in my garden once it gets warmer. For now, the inside shots were just great.

I have a Nikon D5200 that my daughter has been borrowing for a photography class she recently joined. She asked for a camera for Christmas. I thought about trading up myself and giving her my camera, but realized that's probably not going to improve my pictures much. So, I decided to look for a good camera for her to start out with that was not that expensive, but more than enough to learn how to be a photographer.
This Nikon is D3400 fit the bill. It has plenty of features, and was a good bundle deal. The bundle I bought came with two lenses, a camera bag and a memory card, so it had everything she needed to get started.
She had a good head start on using it because she was familiar with the settings on my camera and was already shooting in manual mode on Christmas Day. The camera also has full automatic shooting so you don't need to be an expert photographer or worry about manual settings. It can be used like a point-and-shoot in automatic mode. You can also shoot in aperture priority and shutter priority modes to have control over depth of field and stopping action, but still not have to worry about the lighting conditions.

This is my first DSLR camera and was waiting for Thanksgiving day to purchase the camera.
The camera takes great pics and videos but the big let down for me is no in build wifi. You can transfer only pictures (max size 2MB) using Snapbrige app via bluetooth.
PROS
1. Great picture quality
2. Great battery life
CONS
1. No WIFI - You can transfer only pics (no videos) using Bluetooth via Snapbridge app
2. No external mic - hence you have to rely on the internal mic

i bought this camera after doing comparisons between the canon T6 and this one. I like that is easy to use, and had a slightly larger sensor and Megapixels than the T6.
As a person who primarily used their phone or point and shoots a long time ago, it was nice to officially make the jump into the world of DSLRs and at a very affordable price point.
The 18-55 is the most versatile of the two lenses in my opinion due to the fact i do mostly landscape or urban photography, rather than close-ups and portraits that the 75-300 mm is more suited more.
Only real complaint i have for the Nikon is the lack of Wifi connectivity because the D3400 uses bluetooth to cut cost i assume, so transferring photos to my phone using it can take a while if you transfer full size photos

I bought this camera because I was tired of taking pictures with my Iphone 7, and the fact that we have alot of important life events coming up that I wanted to have quality pictures for to keep for my future kids to see just like my parents had done for me. It is a great camera and I highly recommend it for someone who is just starting out, or for someone who doesnt know alot about cameras. Also it helps to learn this camera by watching youtube vids.

Got this for my wife for Christmas. Gave it to her super early but it was worth it. She was a photographer in the Army and missed her craft a lot and hasn’t had a good camera in a long time. She’s an advanced user and I’m a beginner and we’re both able to use the camera with ease. Amazing photos and the Bluetooth uploading directly to my phone is amazing and super helpful when people instantly want the photo you took.

I purchased this camera as an early Christmas present for my 15 year old daughter whose found an eye for photography. We had our eyes on another brand, but this one came highly recommended and we are extremely pleased. The pictures are absolutely wonderful and the camera is so easy to use. The extra lens is a plus and we managed to score a bag and memory card!
You will not be disappointed if you choose this camera!

My wife wanted a better camera than our point and shoot digital cameras, so after some research and consulting with a few friends that are professional photographers, I bought this camera bundle. It’s very easy to use. The picture quality is excellent. We plan to take tha Nikon online class to learn about all of the great features this camera offers - too many to name!

After researching different cameras, we chose the Nikon D3400 as a good “first” camera for our teen daughter. It was very easy to set up and start using right out of the box.
The pictures are excellent quality!
The SnapBridge app was set up easily and there has been no problems with the pictures transferring to our phone.
Very pleased with this camera!

My aunt is a professional photographer and I seen how she makes the money she does so I wanted to give it a try. She told me to either get the Nikon D3400 or the Canon Rebel. I was pleased with my choice to go with this. It is very easy to work for beginners and it came with two lenses and more accessories. Great Buy!

Bought this on the Black Friday sale. It’s been a great camera for someone who wants to get into photography. Really like the “guide mode” setting that walks you through the features on the camera when taking a photo. Really looking forward to getting comfortable with this camera and using it to its full potential.

This is the second Nikon I’ve owned. I replaced it with a 13 yr old camera. It was super easy to switch over even with all the upgrades they now have. I absolutely love how easy it is not only to use but to transfer photos using the Bluetooth feature. The price range of the kit was too good to pass up.

I bought this camera for my wife for Christmas when it was around $400 off, so it was an incredible value for the quality of camera we got. She loves the color and all the features. The performance and quality of pictures is much better than our previous Nikon we bought 8-10 years ago.

This is an excellent entry DSLR camera. Has more features than the Nikon 3200 which i owned up until 5 years ago when my youngest son "borrowed it". Like the Bluetooth type connection to computer to transfer images. works great and many more pixels than the 3200. A very good buy.

Very easy to use, nice and compact. Not as heavy as a cannon so I appreciate that, images turn out beautiful and price is very competitive. Definitely recommend as a first dsrl.
