Upgraded from Nikon D40. Similar in use but has more features. Especially like Snap-bridge feature allowing pictures to be transferred from the camera to my phone for immediate posting.

Took the plunge and got my first real camera. Have always used my iPhone. But this this is nice. I've gotten pics I just couldn't have gotten with my phone. It is packed with features. Ready to learn how to use it to its full potential.

Wow! I went in to Best Buy to buy the Cannon T6I and was a little frustrated they didn't have it. Glad they didn't because after some research the Nikon D5600 is twice the camera of the T6I. Completely satisfied!!

I did a lot of research and ended up picking this camera to move up from shooting with just an iPhone. I wish I had gotten a DSLR sooner. The bluetooth linked app works great to transfer pictures so you can share them right away.

Had the base Nikon model and upgrade to the D5600. The D5600 blows my old camera out of the water. If I would of know this last year I would of just spent the extra money and purchased the D5600.

My D5100 died and I needed an equivalent replacement. This camera does all the same stuff as the D5100, plus it has a touch screen and some (rather clunky) iPhone connectivity. Would be nice if it downloaded wirelessly to my laptop too, but it doesn’t.

My picture quality has been greatly elevated with this camera. Very adequate for a serious amateur. One should consider buying the body, without the kit lens, and invest in a better quality lens. Check out the many utube reviews on line.

The D5600 offers a lot for the money. This is my second Nikon DSLR and this newest generation is fantastic. I especially like the wifi/Bluetooth connectivity so taking out the SD card to copy to a computer is a thing of the past. Saw it offered at a discount warehouse as a kit with lenses, case, extra battery, & SD card. Best Buy matched their offer making a "package" for me and matched the price without question. Highly recommend this camera.

If youre on the fence between this and a canon or the nikon d3400, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on this d5600! You'll be glad you did in the end!

    Photos blurry in auto focus

I so wanted to like this camera. My problem with it was that it only auto focused 10 percent of the time no matter what lens I used. I also have a D5200. I used the zoom lens on this D5600 and 9 out of ten photos blurred in auto focus. I put the same lens on my D5200 and my photos were in focus every time. I wanted to upgrade but not with this camera. I did like the quiet shutter and the lightness of it. So disappointed in it. I returned it.
