As an owner and fan of the original Ninja Creami, I was excited to try out the updated Swirl model and see how it stacked up. It did not disappoint. The Swirl has a slightly larger footprint than the original Creami, but the added soft-serve functionality makes it a worthwhile upgrade. I followed the included vanilla soft-serve recipe for my first test and was impressed with the results. The controls are intuitive, and the ice cream blended to a smooth consistency on the first pass without needing a re-spin. The processor remains as powerful as ever, effortlessly churning through frozen bases. However, that power comes with one tradeoff: noise. The machine is fairly loud while running, but since the processing cycle only lasts a few minutes, it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. The soft-serve attachment works well, with the lever providing good control over the flow of ice cream. One thoughtful addition is the drip tray, which helps catch drips from melting ice cream left in the nozzle—a small but useful touch. My first batch came out with a firm, creamy texture that held up well and was delicious eaten on its own or in an affogato. One of the best aspects of the Swirl is how easy it is to clean. I was able to clean all parts with a quick rinse or wipe down. Since the parts are dishwasher-safe, tossing them into the dishwasher for an even simpler clean up is also possible. Any leftover ice cream can easily be capped and stored in the freezer for later. Overall, I’m very happy with the Ninja Creami Swirl. The ability to control ingredients and customize flavors makes it a fantastic addition to my kitchen gadgets. While the noise level is noticeable, the quick processing time and excellent results more than make up for it.

Before talking about this specific machine, I need to say that I have over 5 devices and appliances from Ninja, and I have never had an issue with any of them. the build quality is outstanding and they are always elegant and dependant. The Ninja Swirl is a wonderful addition that I found to be extremely helpful in my household. Right out the box, the instruction labels are placed for easy, quick learning and the all the mechanisms and switches and buttons are solid. the machine is also heavy. it comes with 2 tubs if you want to make and have 2 different kinds ready, I found t his very helpful and a nice touch. as a health concerned person with a family of people who eat and eat and don't seem to gain weight, I have been suffering and not enjoying the delicious ice creams my family eats. so when I got t his machine I got it for 1 reason and one reason only, to make protein based, healthy ice cream and I have been experimenting with it with different flavors and I couldn't be happier. cleaning it is easy and accessories are not an issue. I have placed it permanently on the kitchen counter under the cabinet and it fit nicely. I haven't tried the cone yet but am planning to do so soon. this has been a home run for Ninja and I really am happy I can make protein based ice cream and not worry about the quality of the calories am eating.

The Ninja Swirl by Creami is the best of both worlds for making scoopable and soft serve frozen treats at home. Build Quality The build quality is fantastic, units is very heavy and feels solid and stable. The unit is quite large, so it will take up some counter space. Features This machine has all the options of the previous non-swirl version and will allow you to make scoopable and soft serve in a matter of minutes. The preprogrammed modes allows you to create a multitude of various frozen creations (ice cream, fro-yo, fruit whip, custard, etc.) Operation The device is fairly loud (80-90dB) but it's powerful and has been able to turn all of the recipes in to a nice and smooth soft serve without any issues. Follow the recipes in the provided inspiration guide and you will have fantastic outcomes. The inspiration guide has many recipes and variations that will guide you into how to make the best frozen treats. Cleaning Clean up is a breeze. All of the parts breakdown in to pieces which allows for a through cleaning and most parts are dishwasher safe.

This machine is great. Make honemade ice cream with ingredients that you know you are using. Super easy to set up and use. The parts are dish washer safe too. Highly recommend this for the household. My kids love it.

TLDR: We made the best chocolate soft serve that even Joe Biden would enjoy! Prep the day before then in 24 hours enjoy! The machine is loud! The style is modern but the build quality is all plastic. Expanded review: Everything is included except the ingredients needed to make the best soft serve you ever had! The family was super excited to make their first batch. We used the included recipe book to make some chocolate ice cream. Once the ingredients were mixed we put the container in the freezer and patiently waited 24 hours to make soft serve. 24 hours later we put our previously frozen ice into the machine to convert it to soft serve. Wow the machine was as loud as a jack hammer. That is probably my only major complaint. The ice cream itself was delicious. Cleanup was easy and we just hand washed everything and cleaned the machine. The waiting time is another gripe we had. We couldn’t have instant ice cream. So if you are having a party you have to make the ice cream the at a minimum 24 hours before. The build is all plastic and it doesn’t scream luxury. It was easy to clean and wipe down.

Soft serve ice cream is the best, good machine to make ice cream at home

This produces beautiful ice cream, frozen yogurt, and frozen dessert-type products, as good as that available in my local markets, and I can make frozen dessert out of almost anything, including my protein drinks. I can also make almost any variety of low carb ice cream that I want, and am experimenting with unusual ice cream products. A few notes: - Need to prepare and freeze ice cream 24 hours in advance, so spontaneity might be an issue. Any unfrozen pockets can ruin the texture, so needs the full 24 hours. It can turn commercial ice cream into soft serve for those spontaneous moments. - Very easy to clean, the parts are all self contained, and the main unit does not touch the ice cream or get dirty (except maybe the drip tray), which is a huge plus. - Expensive, but long-term return on investment may be good versus buying commercial frozen dessert products, and it is in the price range of many medium- to higher-end home ice cream makers, and of the many I have had in the past, this is the best so far, so worth it. - It only comes with two ice cream cups, and with the need to freeze 24 hours in advance, most people will need more. Fortunately they are also available here on Amazon, in two-packs. Make sure to buy the ones specifically for this 700-series machine, because older versions for previous machines will not work with this newer machine.

Super easy to make recipes, and cheap to make ice cream that's better at the roadside stand. Im terrible at pouring a cone but that's OK. Freeze time of 24 hours is real or else soft serve comes out liquid. You can refreeze what you don't use. I'd suggest getting more points for different flavors in queue.

Love it, make so many different types of soft serve with it. I have made some with protien powders and also with fair life chocolate milk. Followed a couple of youtube recipes and it comes iut great. Would definitely recommend a thickening agent to help worh the crystals for things like the chocolate milk.

Great product, fun for the whole family. I like that you can make your own ice cream or toss in store bought for a quick treat for the kiddos. This is going to be a hit over the summer with friends and their family. Highly recommend.

We owned an original Ninja Creami and really enjoyed the capabilities. When we saw the new Swirl with its updated soft-serve capability we knew it would find its way to our household eventually. What's even better is you can bypass the making of ice cream (and 24 waiting period) and simply pack in store-bought ice cream, mix it and serve it as soft serve. While you cannot do mix-ins this way, it is still nice to quickly make soft serve when you have not made any ice cream in advance.

This is an excellent choice for you to control de amount of sugar that you want in your icecream, as well you can create many healhty options. Just follow the instructions before using there a lot of helful videos on all platforms. I love this machine and its very cool when having visitors offering ice cream. Everybody wants ✅✅✅

I’m happy I waited to buy this because this version comes with swirl ice cream and I love it! Easy to you and clean. Don’t wait, buy it.

Ice cream machine that's super easy to use. The included recipe book is also a great baseline to use to create your own recipes. It doesn't have a compressor, so you have to freeze your combined ingredients before processing. However, so far it's worked far better than similar machines that have you freeze the bowl. The swirl function is good as well, but not sure if it's worth the price considering how much more the Swirl is compared to the regular CREAMi and it's Deluxe variant.

This is our third ninja purchase in the last six months. Great for parties and the kids can’t get enough ice cream. At first all we used store-bought gallons of ice cream because of how fast and easy it was to dispense without waiting overnight. As usual, Ninja included labels on the machine to simplify operation. It has a recipe book so you can make the ice cream or your choice.

Wonderful machine. Does absolutely everything it says it does. Main benefit is the soft-serve ice cream, which comes out excellent. Just make sure to have your ice cream freezing for 24 hours before making or otherwise it will not work. Only downside is the machine is HUGE. If you don't have anywhere to store it or insufficient counter space, this won't work for you.

So far I’m loving how easy it is to make a low calorie or healthier version of my favorite ice cream flavors. It’s super easy no matter what your recipe. I’ve been enjoying soft serve protein shakes and fruit whips the most. Clean up is very quick and simple. My only drawback is the noise level. It’s loud like any Ninja ice crushing blender. But it works as well as advertised and clean up is a dream.

Love it yet it keeps having problem starting for me

Easy to use and has made great frozen yogurt and ice cream so far. Found plenty of recipes online and am very impressed at consistent output. I will say it's a little loud and the recipe book could be better (just look online). Minor annoyances though.

The thing makes pretty darned decent soft serve ice cream as well as a bunch of other things like sorbet, gelato, and frozen yogurt, among others. Realize that you do need to freeze the mixture for overnight before dispensing so there's no instant satisfaction. I do have to deduct one star for the noise. It sounds like a jet engine going off in your living room.
