It is a great blender, very loud but does the job. Be aware of the cups in the dishwasher, they are really thick so I did not think that it would deform, I will have to be careful…

The Ninja TWISTi, High-Speed Blender Duo - Platinum is a blender that seems to be able to do all of those blender jobs at a price that is very affordable for the consumer. This unit comes out of the box with the gray base fitted with grippers on the bottom, a 34 oz. pitcher with a built-in tamper that can be turned at the top of this pitcher and twists into the base, thus the "Twisti", a hybrid blade assembly, and 2 extraction cups with spout lids- one 18 oz. and the other 24 oz. In addition to the actual implements, there are 4 paper inserts- anywhere from the 1 page color hand out that explains when to use the drizzle hole to add liquids to arrive at your desired consistency to use of the built-in tamper to control the spoonable outputs, a 6 page instruction user guide that does state on page 6 a 1 year limited warranty that requests that you do register your product on their website, but there is also an 877 number or even easier a barcode to scan with you smartphone that automatically takes you to their website, a Quick Start Guide, and 25 page Recipe guide with 10 recipes, including tips and tricks to use the built-in tamper by twisting it counter clockwise that continually pushes food down into the blades.
So, what do I love about this unit. One, as you can see, it easily fits under your upper kitchen cabinets and therefore, is easy to leave out on your counter so that it is accessible for use anytime you might want to use it. Second, I also like that ithere are stainless steel blades for strength into chewing up ice cubes, but also that these blades should maintain their integrity over time without rust or pitting issues from moisture.
This is a blender with stainless steel blades that can crush and cut through ice, as well as, the other ingredients a user might want to throw in the mix, including frozen from the freezer fruit and other vegetables..So, the reason that they call this the :Duo: is because on the front of the base are 2 directive food consistencies-drinkable or spoonable and then a further breakdown of extract, smoothie, or frozen under drinkable and spread or bowl under spoonable. Basically, there is a world of possibilities from home made peanut butter to soup to fruit smoothie, as thick or as thin a consistency as you desire. There are so many food item possibilities to be made, from drinks to spreads to dips to soups, and all I remind you for a good purchase price.
This 1100 watt machine can smoothie, extract, crush ice, mix, and puree and once you push your program, it sets out automatically to produce what you wish at up to 18000 revolutions per minute, thus the base grippers for strength of attachment to the counter and faith that you will not have a big mess from the unit tipping over during the process at hand.

Small and powerful, but still loud

This is a nice little blender designed for one or maybe two people. If you’re looking to blend some frozen drinks or something like that for a large group, you’ll need to check out some other models.
One of the nice parts about this particular model is the smallish motor base. My old Ninja Blender was gigantic; it was so tall I couldn’t fit the pitcher on the motor on my countertop. (not to mention it just took up a lot of space in my cabinets). The pitcher itself is much smaller than a typical blender making it the perfect size for blending up smoothies for one or two people.
Despite its small size, it packs plenty of power, albeit, it makes a lot of noise.
IN THE BOX
Like most Ninja blenders, they are pretty generous when it comes to attachments and different cup sizes. Inside the box you’ll find the base motor, a pitcher (with lid), a larger size blending cup (and lid), a smaller size blending cup (and lid), and a separate blade attachment that works with both cups. If you have two people, it would have been nice to have two of the same size cups, but if you were making something for two, I imagine you would use the pitcher anyway.
You also get a little recipe book, which I’m always a fan of, as I like seeing the various things that you can make with the blender vs. me making the same thing I always do.
EASE OF USE
Pretty simple and straightforward. The pitcher and cups (when attached to the blade bottom) slide into the motor and lock in place. It makes a clicking noise and the motor won’t work if it’s not installed properly.
There are several buttons on the front of the motor. They’re broken up into two categories, one is for things you might make to drink, the other are for “spoonable” things (think, smoothie bowls). For drinking, there’s extract, smoothie, and frozen and for spoonable there’s spread and bowl. There’s also the standard start/stop and pulse.
PERFORMANCE
It's worth mentioning how I use a blender in my daily life. I make breakfast smoothies virtually every day. They consist of frozen fruit, nuts, fresh fruit/veggies etc. I make it in the cup attachment and then get in the car and I'm on my way. That's about all I typically do.
When it comes to making a smooth, consistent, breakfast shake, this blender is spot on. It's pretty darn loud (not unexpected of course) which is about my only complaint.
In terms of the various buttons on the motor. I typically stick with the smoothie button. From my perspective, without any true scientific testing, the only difference in the various modes is length of duration of operation and pauses. To me, it doesn't really matter what choice you make when it comes to drinkable smoothies. Bottom line is that any choice will get you a smooth and easy to drink shake with no "chunks".
When it comes to smoothie bowls, I have to admit that's not a big selling point to me (I like the smaller size of the motor and cups). But it was nice to have a pitcher that isn't too bulky for when I might need it.
The lid of the pitcher has two plastic forks that rotate around the pitcher (turns with your hand, not the motor). This obviously serves to scrape the side of the pitcher of thicker smoothies. I did try to make a nut butter (almond butter) which was easy to do. I even made a frozen fruit smoothie bowl which was akin to frozen sherbet. Cleanup is easy too, as all of the parts are dishwasher friendly.
CONCLUSION
This Twisti Duo blender is plenty powerful for your everyday, ice crushing needs. I think the question to ask yourself is how many people will you be serving your concoctions? If it’s just 1 or 2, this is the way to go, as it’s much smaller in size. But if you are the one to make frozen margaritas for a large party, you might want something bigger. For me, in making breakfast smoothies to drink every morning, this is perfect for me; small motor base and big enough cup (so I don’t feel hungry afterward). The pitcher has been nice when I’m making smoothies for two. The only real downside and this exists with what I assume to be virtually all consumer blenders, is that it’s extremely loud.
I just want to add that I’ve always had positive experiences with Ninja appliances, and they only seem to get better. I love how they always include a little recipe book, it can take you out of your comfort zone or at least give you some ideas on what you can make with a nice blender.

Quick Smoothies, Powerful Blender

I can get a smoothie from fridge to mouth in about 3 minutes. Fantastic.
Out of the box you get a smaller cup, larger cup, and a pitcher sized cup. The blades thread on to the top of the smaller two cups and the bottom of the pitcher. The cups also have a lid with a drink spout for blended drinks on the go. The pitcher has a built in drizzle cap with a built in “tamper”. Tamper is what my country vocabulary calls a side scraper. Along with an operators manual, you also get a small booklet with recipes you can try which is a nice addition.
The first thing I wanted to do was smoothie. Coffee and soft drinks make up a large portion of my liquid intake, so be more convenient that those, smoothies have to be quick and painless.
Frozen fruit pouch from the freezer, fill between the 4 and 8oz lines on the small cup. I’m using unsweetened almond milk, fill to the liquid line. Dump in a packet of your favorite artificial sweetener, screw on the blades and put on the motor base. I use the preset smoothie button and 60 seconds later, it’s done. Smoothie. About 3 minutes all together. If your in a hurry you can throw one of the lids on and go. I usually pour mine in a glass and run some hot water over the blades and cup and it’s ready to go the next day.
To run it through its paces, a margarita was next. I like the taste of tequila, so I used a bit more than average. I used some sweet and sour as a sweetener and added fruit juice and some strawberries. Hit the frozen button, boom, strawberry margarita. The ice and fruit juice gives it that slushie texture and everything is perfectly blended. It has that smooth texture like it had been churning all day.
Last, my wife added some coffee, ice, and creamer and attempted a Frappuccino. The cream helped add a bit of froth if you like that texture and turned a hot brewed coffee to a chilled treat. I’m not a huge fan of cold coffee, but if you’re into that, just note she enjoyed the outcome.
The blender itself doesn’t take up a ton of room. It takes up a small amount of space on the countertop while being very powerful. The plastic containers seem very well built and tough. I wouldn’t expect them to chip or crack unless you wanted them to. The drizzle lid with tamper on the pitcher is a bit bulky but it stores well in the pitcher. Luckily everything fits nicely in the dish washer and is dish washer safe.
A few things to note is that the motor on this is loud. It’s very strong and I haven’t noticed it slowing down at all even when putting the maximum amount of frozen fruit in it but it comes at the cost of noise. Also, a nice to have, would have been stacking containers. Every piece can pair up for storage but stacking cups may have saved some space. Minor complaints for fast convenient tasty drinks.

When I unboxed the Ninja TWISTi High-Speed Blender my first thought was oh how cute. Compared to my Nutrabullet this is a baby. I thought that it was going to be too small to make anything of substance, like popover for example.
Boy was I wrong. The Ninja TWISTi High-Speed Blender is powerful and easily handled the 4 large eggs, 1 1/2 cups of milk and flour, making a frothy slurry the turned into 6 perfect popovers.
The packaging may be made of lightweight recyclables but the Blender is first class all the way. It is lightweight buy will not walk across your counter at high speed. The safety measures work perfectly as well. Even the lids on the 2 drinking containers are solid a d keeps beverages where they belong .... Inside the glass. Darn near spill proof as my 5 year old nephew will attest to.
Lightweight, powerful, and attractive the Ninja TWISTi High-Speed Blender is definitely an upgrade and a welcome addition to my appliance garage, and I think you will be happy as well.
Cheers!

Very well thought out "gadget". Has the power base, 2 different size juicer attachments along with the main blender. The chopping blades screw into the base of any of the 3 units. When using the juicers, load fruits / vegetables into the attachment, attach the blending blade on bottom. Then lock into power base, and blend your juice / smoothie. Unlock from base, turn over, unscrew blades, and thread on the top. The top locks in the juice with a snap lid - east to pop open to serve. Then snap closed and store remainder in refrigerator. The juicers and large blender all have convenient measuring marks for maximum fill etc.
Another nice feature, is the main blender has wiper knob on the top. This allows being able to "wipe" down the sides of the blender. Makes it easy to clean stuck fruits / vegetables off side and get back into the blending mix. The knob also has a "ratchet" mechanism, so only turns in the proper direction.
Overall, you can "mix and match" the components and have a versatile blender / juicer.
Highly recommended

Used only the small cup. Used to make a frappe. Used the frozen button to crush ice. Within 5 seconds it was all crushed. However it was extremely frothy. Too much air. So now I’m retiring this for the Oster Vacuum Blender. This blender is extremely powerful and the Oster is not (less wattage) however because I’m not making smoothies and stuff with this, I need something that takes the air out. I’m sad. Also this doesn’t have a dial it’s always on high mode. Maybe if I got the Ninja Foodie with the dial I can go from low blending to high to keep the air bubbles away. I’m sad to return this because I love the size, weight and how it looks.

I recently purchased the Ninja Twisti blender from Best Buy, and using it for a month now for blending smoothies, chutneys, and curry blends. I had a ninja professional and it is better than that. Compared to Vitamix E310, it is one-third the price and gets the job done for most tasks.
Pros:
The powerful motor makes the smooth blending of tough ingredients like frozen coconut for chutneys and fruits for smoothies.
Easy to clean
Compact size
Cons:
a bit loud (I guess I can live with that tradeoff)

This is actually a very nice and powerful machine. It definitely does what it promises to do. It’s excellent for my frozen smoothies and since I’m Mexican I also use it to make Salsa (hot sauce). I do recommend cleaning it immediately after using it since you can’t take the lid completely apart. I also don’t recommend for oily or greasy stuff even though it claims to be good at it. Save yourself the headache of cleaning it. Just use it for fruits and vegetables like I do. Save the oily/greasy for a real blender like an old school Oster Glass blender.

Great Compact Blender!

The Ninja TWISTi is a fantastic little blender that does not take up a lot of room in your cabinet but offers some unique features over our old blender. For smoothies it is perfect as you can either utilize the provided cups for a single serving or use the included 34 oz compact pitcher to make enough to share. The cups also include lids so you can easily blend and go!
The TWISTi is easy to operate with one touch operation to make a perfect smoothie, extraction, frozen drink or even bowls and nut butters! The built in tamper on the pitcher is ingenious addition as that part usually disappears in the back of our cabinets. A simple twist while using makes blending a variety of ingredients a breeze. Smoothies have perfect consistency and though I have not made any nut butters yet it is a nice feature.
Clean up is a breeze too. The blade base easily unscrews and separates from the cups or pitcher and washed in the dishwasher. The TWISTi is perfect for someone who is wanting to make personal drinks or bowls but also looking for a small blender and attachments that will not takes up a lot of room.

Great Ninja Twisti Blender Duo

This is a great multi-purpose unit. I previously had a Ninja that was really just geared towards smoothies but my wife and I wanted something more broadly usable for a variety of different things we normally use a blender for. This really fits the use!
First of all, the typical smoothie, this is awesome. You have multiple options under the “Drinkable” buttons, including “Extract”, “Smoothie” and “Frozen”. They all work differently depending on the texture of what you are blending as well as the expected texture. For example, for the Smoothie option, fill either the larger or smaller cup with your favorite ingredients, screw on the blade and pop it into the unit. Hit the smoothie button and it customizes the pulsing as well as does a countdown until it is done. It was perfect!
Next we wanted to make some Salsa. We packed up the unit and took it over to my daughters house for that. For the salsa, we used the larger pitcher which has built in tamper. This is unique! For this we used the “Spoonable” side, it has two options: “Spread” and “Bowl”. We put all our ingredients into it, press the Bowl button and it pulses and countdowns. You can use the knob on the top to turn the tamper and it basically wipes the sides and pushes the ingredients back down into the unit to ensure better blending. One point we noticed was that the tamper works better when you’re doing thicker things like dressings and nut butters. It worked very well on the green goddess dressing we made, not as well on the salsa since it was thinner, and for these you would use the “spread” button.
This thing has 1600 watts and really worked well. They have perfected the ability to automate and customize texture. I highly recommend it. I have several Ninja appliances and have never been disappointed. They make quality units that do what they say. My other Ninja blender and Foodie, I have had for years and they still work like the day I got them.

I use this blender on a daily basis and its been a huge benefit. Im glad that the blade assembly piece is its own because that makes cleaning way more easier for both the plastic containers and the blades themselves. I, as a grown man, can fit my hands easily to the bottom which again makes for easy cleaning. I dint have any dislikes about the product. Ive seen complaints on the noise being loud but honestly speaking, its a blender...how quiet do you expect it to be? I dont consider it that loud and noticed it gets quieter as stuff inside becomes finer pieces.

Loving my new Ninja Twisti blender. I really like the size not so bulky as my other blender it more compact but still has great powerful speed. It comes with 2 travel cups with lids one 24 oz, one 18oz & a 34oz blending pitcher that twist locks in place with a attached plug to add liquids while blending & has built into the lid a tamper which is a Manuel twisting mechanism that helps push food down, it comes with one blade attachment that screws on to all 3. it has 5 settings in 2 different categories 1st one is labeled “Drinkable” that’s 3 settings extract, smoothie & frozen. 2nd one is labeled “Spoonable” that’s 2 settings spread & bowl. It also has a pulse button. It comes with a Manuel & a 10 recipe book. I love how fast & easy it’s been to make my smoothies it crushed ice with no problem, I like that it not very loud like some blenders can be. I like how it has a guide on what order to add ingredients for best results. I’ve used it so far for smoothies, salsa, small batch of margaritas, made some cashew butter, I’ve tried both fresh & frozen fruits & veggies it works amazing. Only thing I don’t like I know it minor but the tabs that stick out on the cups but those are the tabs that lock it into place in the blender.
