The Amiibo was in great shape and was on time. The price was better than all other places I searched on the Internet at the time go Bestbuy!!!

Despite people saying he's too big, they managed to add Ridley as a fighter and this amiibo captures his nature amazingly well.

This amiibo is really cool looking. It’s very highly detailed and just feels extremely high quality. It’s designed to work with the new Smash Bros Ultimate game. I don’t believe it currently has any functionality outside of that one game.

Metroid has always been one of my favorite series, and since it’s got a borderline cult following, there really isn’t much merchandise available for it. This Ridley Amiibo is a pleasant surprise as we’ve heard for years that Ridley is just too big to be in Smash Bros, but now that he is, he gets his own Amiibo and it’s one of the best yet. Big, solid, detailed. Just a perfect representation of his on screen model.

For years they said he was too big to be put into Smash, yet here we are with Ridley both in the game and as a really detailed figure. I believe it's off the Other M design just far more refined giving it a more impressive look. It's pretty imposing but no larger than the other amiibos you see. I got this as a desk decoration so I can't comment on it's use in games. It looks nice and feels solid. Parents: If you're getting this for a kid, it's not a pose-able figure and it's mounted to the base permanently. Don't expect to have adventures or fights with other toys.

This is an amiibo figure of Ridley from the Metroid games. It's very detailed and looks great. It's also pretty big compared to most other amiibo. This works with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo's amiibo figures, particularly their Smash Bros. line, have always been known for their incredible attention to detail, and Ridley takes things to a whole new level. Even if you're indifferent to the amiibo's functionality within the Smash Bros. game itself, the figurine is astonishingly detailed and probably the most intricate figure Nintendo has produced so far, and it's a great-looking collectible for fans of Nintendo and the Smash Bros. and Metroid series. Highly recommended!

Good design; high-quality, detailed build; and a good size. The new price point is tough to swallow, but the results show in the Ridley amiibo.

I wish this was out a year ago when my two boys went through a strange phase of being obsessed with Ridley. However, I was still happy to pick it up recently with the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It's a great Amiibo with the usual high quality Amiibo build. This one is an average sized Amiibo, but with a slightly larger spread due to the wings and outstretched claws. I haven't used it with any games yet, but it looks nice hanging out by the TV for now.

Love the large size. Looks awesome. Great price. Works well with my gaming system.

I don't have Smash, so I don't get Amiibo for use in that game. I get them to collect and have my kids use as toys (contradictory I know) A good interpretation of Ridley. More fragile than the other sculpts, so kids don't get to play with this one. I like the added support effects, but not how far forward he's tilted. Takes up a bit more space.

We finally got Ridley in Smash and his amiibo is a work of art! The detail work on him is perfect and he just looks impressive sitting in a collection (he is bigger than the Smash Bowser and Charizard) He is a bit more fragile than the other amiibo of Ultimate Wave 1 so be sure to handle him with care if you display out of box

Amiibos are a collector's pride, each has been designed in perfect detail of their character, the color accuracy and their designs go beyond what is expected of a mass produced affordable figure. Each of these compatible with a wide variety of games across Nintendo consoles to bring extra items/customizations to the games.

Being a fan of the franchise, I've bought all previous Metroid-Series amiibo, Ridley is definitely one of the better ones, though with a few minor issues. The detail of the model and the posing is great, but unlike the image shown, it lacks a lot of depth in color. Depending on what sort of lighting you want to display this amiibo in, it can easily just come off as a purple blob. Regardless, it's *significantly* improved from the original Smash Bros. Samus Aran amiibo. If you're just looking to use it for it's in-game functions, the figure-player feature returns from Smash Bros. for WiiU where you can 'train' your amiibo to fight and power it up along the way. Fun stuff, but nothing amazing.

Finally a Ridley amiibo! Great details and probably one of the more complicated molds Nintendo has put out. Just a little warning, the figure it a little weak at the legs where they join the base and some people have seen them broken in the package. So when removing it from the box be extra slow and careful!

After the first wave of Amiibos went around Nintendo stepped up their game on these amazing accessories. I was curious on how they would do with such a large character, but I will say that this Amiibo looks amazing. I would recommend getting this Amiibo for SSBU and any future Metroid title!

Purple dragon amiibo lets u train and fight a string ridley it just looks so cool and scary bummer its more expensive because its more detailed and bigger but its cool nonetheless

Metroid is my favorite video game series of all time and it is so exciting to see Ridley added to the Smash roster. On top of that this amiibo figure is gorgeous. He's big (but not too big!). Hopefully this has some kind of integration into Metroid Prime 4!
