Had the case for two weeks and the leather tore. I really liked the case - just beginning to look good. I debated on getting a replacement thinking I may have gotten a defective one but decided to go with Apple's leather case instead. I was not hard on this case. It was in my pocket with nothing else when it ripped. Maybe I would recommend

This was a really nice leather case. I liked how it aged and took wear and seemed to look nicer with time, unlike the apple leather cases. However, the plastic frame doesn’t seem as sturdy as the apple leather case, and it broke pretty early on.

I take great care of my phone so I wasn’t looking for drop protection. This is a great feeling case, not too slick and looks cool after a month of use. It did get a few scratches on it but you can use a black or purple marker to fill in and it blends perfectly!

I really like this case. It is made to beat up and look nicely. I ended up treating the leather because if a drop of liquid hit the leather it really discolored it. It seems to be wearing down nice. I did drop the case and found the leather is really this and it tore. With a little glue I fixed it but it doesn't have the druability you think you are getting with the leather. This leather is paper thin and mainly about looks. If you need a case that will be durable and last a long time for you this one may not be the one for you. If you want a case the beats up and still looks nice though light use this may be the case for you..

The feel of the case is good. The leather adds a nice texture and grip to the phone. The leather also feels like it will last. The look is nice; especially that it does not have any Apple branding on the back. However, it is a little bit bulkier than the Apple brand leather cases. It is hardly noticeable by looking at it, but if you do a comparison it can be seen. The phone is fairly easy to put in the case. It is pretty straightforward; however, I warn you, if you ever want to take your phone out, it can be quite difficult. The edges of the case are kind of sturdy and don't allow for much bend or flexibility, so when trying to pry your phone out from the case, it feels like your phone is bending, not the case! There is a lot of wrestling with the phone/case on my part every time I try to take it off. So, if you are a person that rarely takes their phone out of their case, this is a great option for you. But, if you are a person that frequently, this case may frustrate you.

I don't like big bulky cases, so I wanted a smaller slim case, this case delivers on that, the leather helps with grip on the phone and looks quite good. Only issue that very well could be a pro is that since it is leather it shows wear after use, so the leather will change colors in spots and have little nicks and scratches. Nothing terrible, and honestly gives the leather more character. All in all, it's a great case if you want a lightweight case that is genuine leather.

I wanted a leather case for my new iPhone 7 Plus, but didn't want to pay $49. Okay, this case was $40, but $9 is $9. It's not as refined as Apple's case but is a little sturdier and certainly more protective, especially along the bottom. The grip is good. Not the best but good. It's already picking up some nice patina after only 6 weeks. I've treated it with some Kiwi Leather Treatment. One niggle: I have to use my pinky nail to toggle the silent switch n and off.

the price is just right for the quality and I dont have to worry about the material damaging because it ages so well!

I really like the quality of the leather. I have had it on my phone for awhile now and it still looks good. The buttons are covered but works great.

Fits the way it should and doesn't slip from my hand. Looks stylish to boot!

This is a nice leather case and especially on clearance price ($19.99) it is a great value! Soft lining inside is great to not allow dust to scratch the back of the phone. Also leather feels of great quality.

I like the design and look of the case, but the leather does scratch pretty easily. The fit is ok, but I had to stretch out the leather where it covers the volume down button, as it was too tight and kept turning the volume down.

This case is straight forward, it provides adequate protection with style! Blue leather that will patina beautifully as it ages. Great for my iPhone 7, didn't want to cover it w/ a bulky case

If you're looking for a leather case specifically, this one fits the bill and does it pretty well for less than the price of an Apple-branded leather case. It looks pretty fly and fits well. Had room for a magnetic plate underneath for a car mount as well. That said, I dropped this case once on the sidewalk and, while my phone survived just fine, being leather the case was scuffed deeply. Entire slices of leather came right off the case. I attribute part of this to the slipperiness of the leather, which is a bit of an issue with the larger 7 Plus phone. While I originally liked the look, I've decided to move to a more protective (and more lightweight) case.

Got this as a backup case for my iPhone 7 Plus and I was shocked at how it began to separate from itself. Never dropped it but it fell apart and began to peel off. Better sticking other better options.

I got the blue (almost black leather). It is strong ang looks good. Perfect fit. The blue color is just enough difference than all the million black covers out there!

I loved this case at first, best case I've ever bought. Was very happy with how it was wearing and the slight patina it was developing....but.....about 3 weeks of use and this morning I take it out of my pocket and see a large, dime sized hole is in the back. I never dropped it and it's never been in my pocket with anything else, zero reason at all for the rip. The only thing I can think of is that it may have gotten hung up on a zipper once when I put it in my coat pocket? Even if I carried it every day with keys and what not it still shouldn't rip like it did, very disappointed. I'm waiting to hear back from Nomad customer service so I may amend this review later. I'll reserve judgement until I hear back from Nomad customer service, but I'm pretty discouraged by what happened today. Just sitting in my pocket, no keys or drop or anything. No idea what happened but there's a nice, big hole where the leather ripped and it's only a few weeks old. I really loved this case up until today, and I know leather will wear but it should rip like this. I could understand if I had it in the bottom of a bag or in a pocket full of keys...but it wasn't anything like that so why did it rip? I emailed Nomad this morning so I'll let y'all know what their response is, I asked for a replacement or a full refund. I loved this case. But unfortunately it broke fast. About 3 months in the guard around the bottom cracked and was hanging off. I still used it but was bummed the plastic under the leather was so brittle.

Very nice case for the price. I do prefer the Apple leather case’s leather but it’s just a preference!

Coming from someone who loves the apple leather case, I think this case is much better. Better coverage since the apple leather leaves the bottom exposed. The leather feels great and grippy, quality feels better, and it ages well. Only negative some may not like is the leather shows scratches and blemishes easily...I personally like the aged look. You cant go wrong with this case if your looking for a slim stylish case that gives you decent protection.
