First, I find it best not to use your primary cell phone as the program is already buggy. I tested using a WiFi iPhone 6 Plus, WiFi iPhone 5 and LTE S8. Out of the three devices I tested, the iPhone 5 works the best. I use this camera as a blind spot camera instead as a rear view camera, so I always turn on the camera when I’m driving. The battery lasts at least 1 week with a total commute of at least 7 hours. The wide angle lens is great, wider than my other 2016 vehicle. I use this camera for reference only. I’m giving it a 4 star rating only because the program is buggy. Besides that, this product is great.

This backup camera gave me issues from the very beginning. I got this for Christmas and it was already in the garbage by the end of January. Most of the time it wouldn't connect and when it did there was a delay in the transmission rendering it useless. It eventually stopped working altogether so I took it apart and found moisture and corrosion throughout the inside. Not made well and certainly not made to withstand outdoor conditions which is necessary for placement on a vehicle. Will not buy from this manufacturer again.

The concept is wonderful and the camera works great - only problem is that it’s very hard to set up the WiFi/Bluetooth connection and almost impossible to use once you leave your home. Too much hassle

The backup camera on my truck stopped working and thought this would be a good solution. Video quality is good but the unit it bigger than expected and I had to move registration stickers to different part of my license plate to accommodate the camera. Have used for one month and decided to remove the camera and only attach when using my trailer hitch.

Works great in the day but at night not so great and the battery life not so great

works but it is "moody" not very comfortable to use

I tried several backup systems but this one really meets the need. It's clear, easy to setup and you don't have to run wires. The only downside is that your have to charge the unit via USB every so often. For me I haven't charged it in a few months and it's still working.

Software only works with phones. Will not even install on tablets.

Waste of time, More trouble then it’s worth. It worked one time after working with it for 5 hours.

Horrible quality, both in video and manufacturing. I had 2 that broke within the first 2 weeks.

It would only find the WiFi 1 or 2 times out of 10. Who wants too spend time trying to find a WiFi before backing up? I returned it after one day.

Easy to install. Just followed the directions and you are good.

Great camera to use with IPhone!! You need one of these!!

Love this backup camera. It's made parallel parking so much easier and installing it was a breeze.
