First of all, this is 100x better than any treadmill I've used at the gym. Hence, the 4 stars. That said, at this price point I just don't think there is any excuse for some of the shortcomings. The picture quality is far from sharp, and the response to touch makes me feel like I'm navigating an old faulty tablet. The iFit workouts take a while to load and at best you're going to see 720p. I just can't believe they couldn't have thrown a decent screen on there. There is a way to access privileged mode and use a web browser to watch Youtube or Netflix videos but they stream in even worse quality than the iFit programs so it's not even worth trying. Also be aware that the old models had the option to cast to another screen but they removed that on this latest model. Ifit programs are convenient in that they automatically adjust your speed and incline for you. BUT I am someone who needs high energy music when working out and none of the programs include anything other than a background track. The bluetooth enabled speakers built into the tread are decent though, so I usually mute the program audio and listen to my own music. That's a definite upside to the Peloton tread though- not only do they build a lot of their runs around the beat and energy of the tracks they play, but they also have a much easier platform to navigate and you are able to filter and search for a work out by intensity, time length, music genre, etc which iFit doesn't accommodate. They also allow you to take live classes. Most of the time when using this tread I will cast a Peloton run to my tv ( they give you 3 months free to use their app) and follow that and listen to their music, but I will put an iFit run on my tread screen for visual interest. You are able to stop iFit from adjusting your speed/incline if you want to do this. One more note on iFit, once the iFit workout is complete it will kick you onto a "cool down" screen which won't continue to count your workout stats, and you must exit and end the program and start a new one if you want to continue to track your run progress. A minor inconvenience but one that bothers me every time when I cant view my total calories, distance, and time added together. There are a few design flaws as well. It's super inconvenient to reach around to the back of the screen to grab your water bottle. The bar on the front crosses directly over the fan airflow when it's pointed up, so I can never feel it on my face. The highest it reaches is my chest. I'm not sure how they didn't catch this. About 50% of the time, the buttons need to be pressed a couple of times before they register which can be frustrating when you're trying to do intervals and don't want to be spending so much time transitioning. There is no tray or caddy to keep remotes, phone, headphones case, or other personal belongings close by other than the water bottle holders on the back, and a small lip that is created when the screen is angled as far down as possible. There is no USB or power outlet to charge your phone. The overall design is just massive and there's no way to tuck this into a corner. The x32i is often compared to the Peloton tread. The Peloton is far prettier. It is sleek and minimalistic. It has a tray for walkers who might want to bring a laptop and get some work done while moving. The screen is angled straight up which is what a lot of runners prefer instead of looking down. It has better screen quality and the option to cast to a TV which is great for the floor work portions of some workouts. What the x32i has on the Peloton Tread though, apart from the obvious incline abilities, is that due to the decline option, the belt has far superior cushioning. Trust me, your knees will be able to tell the difference right away. It is the most comfortable treadmill belt I have ever experienced. The Peloton tread does not have a built-in fan, and the speed adjustments are manually adjusted, so not great for interval training. The x32i has a more powerful motor and substantially better warranty. I am keeping the x32i because the design flaws are inconveniences that I can deal with- I ordered an attachment for a water bottle holder, and set up a fan next to the treadmill. I follow Peloton programs on a TV that I set up near it and if I want to watch Netflix I'll do it on there. But these workarounds shouldn't have to be made, and in reality, I am using my own TV to compensate for a low-quality screen that is supposed to be the main selling point of this machine.

My wife and I wanted the 22" screen version, but decided on the 32" since Best Buy was able to have it to us in 2 days rather than weeks. Firstly, the good: I will say that I was skeptical at first, but my goodness, the 32" screen is absolutely awesome and really helps you feel you are there, and completely worth it if you are able to spend the extra or splurge a little. I have found myself moving around on the belt as if I am avoiding obstacles, so the wider and longer belt is great. The 40% incline is intense and awesome. The variety, availability, and continuous updates of the workouts available with iFit are awesome and keep you engaged, interested, and motivated. So, why 4 stars and not 5 (the bad)? When putting the entire unit together, I found that the mounts for the cross bar did not line up quite right, and when I finally got it together, you can see that the casing around the screen is not straight. This is not a big deal, as it does not stop the function of the screen or it's tilting ability, but at the price point you pay for the unit, you expect better QC than that. The android powered tablet (or whatever for the smartscreen hardware) that they are using is not very powerful, so you will experience lag with the unit. Again, at this price point, I feel this hardware should get a little boost aswell. Overall, I am happy with the unit. I love the big screen, and I really like iFit. It makes getting motivated to work out and working out really easy. I would definitely recommend it if you are thinking about it or are on the fence.

In love with this thing. It is not easy to get into your house, but assembly is definitely easy and will be up and running in no time. A few things to pay attention to, 1. The WiFi in this is 802.11n which is an older generation of WiFi, to best use the WiFi features have a dedicated 2.4ghz band and you won’t experience the buffering that many people complain about online. 2. This thing is HUGE and HEAVY. When it’s pushing 40% incline you will need to pay close attention to ceiling height or obstacles like a ceiling fan. There are 2 wheels on the front and a bar at the back that make moving it easier but again it is very heavy and the console is TALL so very hard to move. 3. PRICE MATCH! Best Buy’s price match policy is amazing, use it! We price matched NordicTrack directly and got the treadmill far faster than NordicTrack could have delivered it. 2 DAYS

Both my experiences with BestBuy this year have been a nightmare. The delivery of this equipment was terrible. The guys finally showed up and installed it a week later. After they installed it I noticed the stickers were peeling off, dent marks, stain marks on the machine. After a few uses, I noticed static in the sound. Then the spring came off while I was running. I'm quite skeptical at this point. Will update.

This treadmill is awesome! I was hesitant to spend this sum of money on home equipment because we have a gym membership and enjoy running outside frequently. However, I was intrigued by the incline trainer abilities of 40% to -6% and convenience of a home tread. My family ranges from marathon runners to walkers with varying fitness goals and the x32i has something for all of us - runs, hikes, walks, series training, educational tours, studio classes, strength training, etc. We use it every day and LOVE IT! This machine is BIG so be prepared to have space. We had to take it out of the box on the lawn and bring it in by pieces (there are two large pieces requiring at least two people to carry - the belt (very heavy) and the display/console - handles are separate) The 32 inch screen is massive and simple to use. You feel immersed in the environment and it's easy to forget you are home. It takes about 30 seconds to buffer in the beginning before the picture becomes clear. You can see your metrics and the leaderboard or select full screen mode without the metrics. There is a search option for workouts by trainer, duration, intensity, location, etc or you can browse through by most popular or series. You'll never get bored with thousands of options and you can schedule them on your iFit calendar in advance. iFit just started live several live classes every day last week too - similar to Peloton. It also has manual and "sled push" workout options. The motor is powerful and quiet. Assembly was easy with two people and set up was a breeze. The only two small negatives - Bluetooth is "out" only so you cannot listen on earbuds, headphones, etc. You can connect a bluetooth device to the tread and listen to audio via the speakers (excellent quality) Also the fan is loud but we tilted the vent and that eliminated the sound. Overall, we are very satisfied with the NordicTrack x32i and have canceled our gym membership. This machine has reignited my enthusiasm for working out and I highly recommend.

    Makes Cardio Fun

To be honest, I don't like cardio workouts. I much prefer weight training instead. But I know I need to balance the two. I did a lot of research between the Peloton tread and this one. I ended up with the Nordictrack because it has the higher incline and quieter deck. I love working out my glutes and because I don't like running fast, this has more value to me. This is far better than any other treadmill at the gym I've used. The 40% incline is killer! The IFit program is great. They have great trainers on there that really motivate me to push myself. I love seeing all the different parts of the world they visit and each one talks about the history and facts of the place they're in. It makes the time go by faster. The option to have the deck automatically adjust to the incline set by the trainer helps me not settle for what's comfortable and easy. If you're competitive, you can even compare yourself to others who are doing the same workout. I will say it's a little annoying with how slow it can be to get a clear screen when you begin the workout. It always starts out blurry for a minute or two and then becomes clear. It would be nice for the IFit program to organize their workouts a little better when searching for specific types or runs. But overall, it's pretty good. I like the fan option. It does wonders when you're sweating your buns off and need a little air. The fan position is okay for me because I'm only 5' tall but for my 6'3" husband, the fan has to point up and the bar in front hinders full air flow if he wants it to fan his face. The deck has a lot of cushion and is fairly quiet. My husband has bad knees and it doesn't seem to bother him when he runs on it. Cup holders are in an odd placement behind the screen. Setup is kind of a pain but manageable. Luckily my hubs is handy and had a tool to fix the threading on one of the screws. If it was just me, I'd definitely hire someone to put it together. The thing is very heavy!! Best Buy was right on time with delivery and had great communication. I'm glad I didn't buy it directly through Nordictrack's site. I would have had to wait at least a month.

This is a great treadmill that is capable of huge inclines as well as light declines. I use this thing every day, and I really like the ifit system. My only complaint with the treadmill is the system can be slow to boot sometimes. Not astronomically slow, but can take several minutes. Once it is loaded though, you have so many workout options (runs, walks, hikes, and every combination thereof). The extra running space on this model is much needed as I am a horrible runner and end up moving around a little. The extra large screen is the best part of this. It makes it easier to get immersed into the scene of where you are running.

Delivered on 4/25/2020 and by 5/13/2020 not working. Norditrac customer service absolutely awful and essentially told me that control boards on this treadmill are faulty and they're frequently seeing issues. Part is out of stock and won't be around for months. Took me 3 calls and over 4 hours of holding for them to tell me I'm out of luck and would need to just return it.

I looked long and hard at several different models of treadmills including the Peloton Tread. I finally decided on the NordicTrack giving some of the benefits of it. I really wanted the 22 inch version of the NordicTrack but Best Buy only has a 32 inch version. Glad I got the bigger screen. If you can’t afford it then splurge on it. Certainly a pleasure to wake up in the morning and work out in a different location of the world And to have someone running with you. The treadmill adjust itself to the route with the speed and incline.

Purchased March of 2020. After just 2 months of use it was broke for the next 260 days. Worked for 8 months and has been broken again for 3 months. Im still waiting for ICON to fix it. They`ve replaced three controller cards, the display and now the frame is cracked. They dont care, once you have it for thirty days you can't return it. When it works, It is amazing. But the quality is horrid. ICON is super slow to repair it.

This treadmill was amazing when we first got it. It's a great running surface and the screen and features are great. Went to run on a rainy day and the treadmill no longer works. The belt that you run on does not move. We owned it for 2 months and it's useless now. The customer service is even worse, I haven't been able to get assistance to resolve this issue. Listen to me when I say this, do not buy this product.

HOW IS THIS GETTING 5 STARS?

Ok, so, I don't normally write very many reviews, but this is one of those that I think needs the review. As far as the treadmill goes (forgetting the software, screen, etc) it is a nice treadmill. It is powerful, works reasonably well, has a huge incline etc. Things that are just horrible on the product. THE SOFTWARE. iFIT is crap. Nordic Track can make a treadmill, sure, but when it comes to the software, it is horrible. The entire reason for buying this is basically the huge screen and the software. So when the software sucks, it isnt worth it in my opinion. Searching for classes, let's start there. There are all kinds of ways to search. You can search by run, walk, trainer, location, length of class and a few minor other things. But lets say you want to "burn" 300-400 calories, and you want to see the workouts that are in that range. You can't do that. Lets say you want to just type like google and search, you cant do that, it is all drop downs. Searching on this thing is slow and painful. Lets say you want to assign a static IP on the android operating system, nope Lets say you want to troubleshoot why the Bluetooth hr strap doesn't work, the support docs just say "it works". Well, that is not true. Let's say you want to stream the workout using Bluetooth to headphones instead of the speakers so people don't get disturbed by the workout, nope. Lets say you want the data to sync with google or apple health. I mean, there is an iFit app. Nope. Lets say you want to plan your workouts on your phone and have them sync to the treadmill, not easy and maybe impossible. I still haven't figured that one out. Why? Because Nordic Track can't program worth their life. IF you want TECH, do not go this route. Go with something like Peloton. IF you just want a good treadmill, Nordic Track is great, but I would not recommend this model as you are paying for a screen that is pretty frustrating to use...

Pros & Cons - Overall Good

    Posted .

I've had my NordicTrack x32i for almost 2 months. I've ran on a lot of treadmills in my lifetime and I must say this has been the best feel I've ever experience. To help you decide, I thought I'd indicate Pros and Cons. I do want to mention that many of the pros are bigger than the cons, but I wanted to be complete. Pros: Amazing belt - best landing I've ever experienced. Gorgeous visuals - the screen is massive and immersive Great trainers - so engaging Lots of Options - from walking to hiking to running to a lot in between; plus live classes and ones with weights Declines - this creates a very realistic experience 40% incline - a bit insane to be honest but is awesome An ifit FB page to engage with others Long belt - not necessary unless you are tall Hand rails - can use as hiking poles Cons: Bluetooth - you need to hack the system to have it work Cup holders - literally the silliest place you could ever put them, you will very likely need to buy one to add on Large & Heavy - getting it into the house and set up was crazy. I'd recommend 3 or more people for the base portion. Poor search ability - the app and website a not great, but the actual machine is decent Following people - tough to find friends on their community board Motion sickness - if you are super prone to motion sickness I'd imagine that there will be times when running that the camera will mess with your stability Overall if I needed to do it again I'd greatly consider saving $1,000 and buying the x22i.

This the top of the line Nordic Track. It has all the bells and whistles as other reviewers have mentioned - especially the 32" screen and 40% incline. It is very heavy and I needed a couple of strong guys to deliver it to the 2nd floor of my workout room. Once it's set up, you'll love working out on it.

I have to say that the first one we purchased broke within the first 30 days but Best Buys customer service was excellent and replaced it with a new one. This treadmill comes with an iFit subscription, which you don't have to keep. You can use this treadmill without it. But I have really been enjoying the iFit walks and hikes. Nobody in my family is a runner, but we do like hiking, and we all enjoy the walking tours around other parts of the world. I feel almost like I've been to Tokyo, or been to Egypt. For me, I have been working on my knees, and being able to walk downhill on a treadmill has been really good for my knees. I've had a noticeable decrease in knee pain felt walking down steps since I got this treadmill.
