It's Alright
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pop popcorn the "old fashioned" way with oil and kernels in a pot with a lid, so I got this thinking it would be faster. Well, it's definitely faster but the popcorn is kinda chewy (we've done several batches and we use high quality kernels; must be an air popper thing). The previous review said it was quiet but I don't agree. I mean, it's not an airplane landing or anything but it is tough to hear over it. On the plus side, it takes no time to actually pop the full batch, so you put up with it for long. All in all, it works the way it's supposed to but the actual popcorn just isn't as crispy or as good as oil popped. If you're used to air popping, then I'm sure it's fine. I gave it a 4 bc the functionality is there, I just don't like the final product.
