I needed a good program that was not too difficult to learn and use quickly. I'm redoing rooms, taking down walls and wanted a design program that would give me the basics. The HGTV Design package with landscaping is just right. Probably a few more bells and whistles than I ready need but better more than not enough. Fair to middle learning curve but once you get the basics, it is easier to design with.

Thought this would be a lot easier to use. Had bought a house to flip and thought this would help. Much to difficult to use, the book with it is 3 inches thick. You better have lots of time to read to figure this out!

This program is a great substitution for anyone who has used AutoCAD in the past for any small interior architectural projects. It allows you to produce a drawing in less than half the time. It produces a great presentation if you are showing to anyone else.

does not work as well as I would have thought. Has issue with printing, continues to lock up among other things. When it does print it prints extremely too small .

For the price it does find. If you are doing a simple job it will to the work, but more complex job is a different story

Its a good program, but a little complicated. Has thick instruction book which is in a smaller print then Im used to. Its taking me longer to learn then other programs I have learned on my own. Overall it is a good program. As for recommending I I would let them know they got to read alot to learn and everything I have said above to be concidered before buying.

Years ago my husband purchased this program for me. I loved it....until I had 80% of the plan drawn up. For some reason after so much data is entered, furniture was in the air, doors incorrectly placed and other simple things became difficult. We had enough space to run the program and an expert determined it was a program problem. Over 8 years later, trusting that this program would be fixed by now, I gave it another try. New computer with nothing in memory so this was my first download. When I was almost done with the house design, the program started acting crazy again. Geek Squad tried everything to determine if it was computer or program. They finally determined it was program and the only reason I was able to return the opened box! I will purchase a more expensive program if I ever buy another.

Not a good product. I watched tutorials online on how to use it. I didn't open it yet and best buy said I couldn't return it due to being a software. So I went home, opened it and tried using it. It Was way to confusing to use. Runs really slow. Biggest waste of $80

It does nearly everything you want it to do. If you are willing to spend hours with the manual and following the instructions it is a great program. If not stay away

This program takes some time to learn. More complex than what I thought.

I that that when I create a floor plan it tells me the square footage of the room or entire floor plan. I also like that it comes with tons of options for decorating.

The program was way to difficult to use , they need to make it beginner friendly

Program has loads of extras, but is difficult for beginers to work. The manual is huge!

A very capable program, but it is not a program you can just open the box and start using. Not as user friendly as I had hoped, but that is a trade off from its wide range of capabilities I am sure. The Manual is the size of a large phone book. Maybe not the best choice program for someone wanting to just jump in and start designing.

This is a very complicated program. You need to understand the inner working that make up building a house.

Not a very good 3-D package for home design. Difulcult to use, and not very editable. I'd be better off spending money on a Solidworks package, and doing home design for a business to make it worthwhile. Of course, it would be better if soft ware makers understood about home owner DIYers!

I bought this to design a house for my parents in hope that a contractor could use it as blueprints. I can not get this to print with the measurements nor will it print on a 8 1/2" x 11". Maybe if I took a cad class I could be able to use this better. The book that came with the software is in so small print I have trouble reading it with bifocals and some of it is hard to follow. I was told that it was real easy to use and I could print any size paper with the measurements on the print. I have yet to be able to print anything.

Definitely not for the individual that doesn't have much time. It's going to take a few months to learn everything in this software.

Its ok but not exactly what we wanted. Just need to learn program better.
