Failed Chipset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I wanted the base Nvidia brand because I thought it would be best, however, every game kept crashing at even low settings, games that ran fine on my 970 GTX. So I thought maybe driver issue etc, contacted Nvidia’s customer support, made sure power was on to the device... and nothing worked. Crash after crash. So I decided to return it and use my 970 again, but when I got to the store, I figured, why not try a different brand and see if it’s my PC and not the card. I bought the MSI version and couldn’t be happier. Plugged in and played fine. After reading through a lot of forums etc, it seems the one I had might have been faulty, as a lot of others have been, so beware, but the 2070 as a whole is a great card.

Dead after only 7 months

While it worked it was great, ran whatever I threw at it on max settings without overclocking or adjusting any settings. From what I could find on reviews this was a common problem for this card...purchased an EVGA RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra to replace it.
