You can really feel the quality and attention to detail just by holding the card, it definitely does not feel cheap. Personally I love the reflection on the super card, it goes with my build and looks super clean. Its representation kina feels like an apple product , premium. With it's all aluminum build it packs some serious power, easily dominating 1440p and 4k games, especially games for ray tracing. I would stay away from the 2080 ti , it's way to expensive, I feel as the 10 -15 fps difference is not worth it for that much performance. I think the 2080 super is the sweet spot.but if you've the money go for it or sli with the 2080 supers.i love that it is quiet, like extremely quiet ,probably because I upgraded from a gtx 1060 to the rtx 2080 I can just tell the difference and appreciate its noise level. The heat since does a really good job at keeping things low at heavy load, I tried a couple rtx games and it didnt make my room hot like my gtx 1060 on regular games. Overall I was glad I made this purchase especially how hard it was to obtain this cause they always went out of stock but i see why, the founder's edition cards is just better than the third party cards in my opinion. Its almost perfect but I do have 1 complaint and it's the dawm green led, you can't change it or turn it off and can throw off any good looking build, I heard that it was rgb but nvidia took the feature off, i understand it's their branding but I would have definitely love color change or at least an option to turn off. Some people don't want any lights in their system, luckily I found a way to turn it off in the evga precision drivers x1 but I shouldnt have to use a third party as to turn it off. Anyways that concludes my review it's a definite comp if your thinking of buying this high end card

I bought this card for a new build that I was putting together. I paired this card with an i9-9900k and 32gb of 3200mhz ram, I put it all on an Asus Rog Strix z390 E motherboard. I installed everything and booted up the computer, installed everything, opened MSI afterburner and started playing. Mainly I play Apex Legengs right now so that is what I am going to base this review on, I've had the card for two days and have not had a chance to try any other games. Anyways, booting up Apex and leaving everything on mad settings, 1440p 144hz the card runs at 70-95%. Auto boost clock running at 2050 out of the box with no tweaking. I have pretty good airflow, but running this card with these settings the temp peaks at 55c and does not dip below 144hz. So far with performance I am absolutely pleased.
Noise: For me, aesthetics and noise come secondary compared to performance. I play with noise cancelling headphones, and when gaming I have 8 fans spinning up anyways, so I have not really heard the card over the rest of the fans in the case. All I know is that my temps are perfect, and I am happy with it.
Looks: This card looks amazing in my opinion, it has a pretty simple design and I love it. The card is solid and sturdy. I do wish that the Geforce RTX logo was changeable but I can live with that.
A couple of side notes: The reason I gave this 4, not 5 stars, is because when installing the GPU into the mother board for the first time the bracket and the PCI slot were not lining up. After further inspection I found that the mounting bracket was bent at the top where it slides into the case, maybe 2 off. I bent the bracket straight by hand, and it went right in. Although I would prefer to not recieve a card bent out of the box, it works perfect and I'm not waiting for a replacement. Maybe Nvidia can chime in to how a $700 GPU comes with a bent bracket out of the box?
Also, and this has no effect on my review, the first day I had the card in everything ran perfect. My temps were slightly higher, but that was because I didnt plan far enough ahead to realize that the mother board only offers 2 Chassis Fan Headers and a couple others, so I only had 3 fans running in the case. Since all my fans are corsair and I did not want to buy splitters, I purchased a commander pro to control fan speed and RGB. To get the iCue software to control the PWM fan speeds, I had to update iCue to the latest version. I put everything in, booted up, upgraded, played with my speeds, and started playing. My gameplay went from 144fps butter smooth, to 100-120fps and stuttering. I couldn't shoot anything. I thought maybe I plugged something back in wrong. After troubleshooting I figured out that the iCue software is the root of the problem. Uninstalling iCue and rebooting the game, everything goes back to normal.
Would I buy it again? Yes I would.

Perfect for Alienware Amp

Just picked up and installed in my Alienware Amp.
Perfect fit, the only downside are the blowers. They blow up and out rather than through and out. So I reversed the fans to exhaust on the case and when I'm really gaming and OC I keep the Amp case cracked.
Steady OC at 125 on memory and 500 on core. Able to run Final Fantasy Online maxed at 4k 60fps. Control runs 1440p 60fps with RTX on medium. Control with RTX on high requires 1080p. Most if not all games I own are now maxed at either 4k or 1440p.
This should be helpful for all Alienware and Amp owners:
1. Uninstall all display drivers
2. Download GeForce Experience and let it install your built-in GPU driver
3. Shutdown
4. Plug in Amp and boot
5. Notice your card has generic Microsoft adapter
6. Right click that card in device manager
7. Update driver by pointing to the GeForce Experience download file
8. Let the driver install
9. DONE
Update BIOS to latest and Windows 10 to 1903 minimum for RTX features.
Highly recommend this card for the Alienware and Amp combo.

I am running a Ryzen 2700x 8 core processor on a Asus Maximus Hero motherboard with 16gb of DDR4 3000 Corsair Ram. Once installing the 2080 super I launched multiple games. The card runs 150+ frames on Modern Warfare and once Ray Tracing was turned on I got 100+ frames. The card teens to get louder when under load but that is to be expected with a Nvida Card.

Is RTX worth it? depends. The hardware on this card is solid. It is overclockable, i'm using MSI Afterburner; over 2Ghz boost. The Control game is amazing to experience RTX. I would recommend it if you play story based games (Cyberpunk 2077 can't wait!). I wouldn't use it in FPS games like Battlefield.
As the Nvidia drivers become more stable and optimized to use RTX the card will continue to be better. Full load temperatures 60-75C. Obviously it's gonna run a little bit warmer but they designed the fans very well - quiet @ 60% fan curve.
I got this card for high frame rate 1080p 144-240hz however it can definitely handle 1440p very well. If you want 4k with high fps and settings then you're gonna have to buy the 2080ti. If you're looking for a new GPU and don't care for RTX, get an board partner 5700xt @ $399-450 for 2070 super equivalent performance (*not capable of RTX reminder*). recommend having Gen 7 i7 or newer intel processor or good gen 1/2 Ryzen OC
I upgraded from a GTX 970 3.5GB card. While I thought about getting an EVGA card because of their great reputation and how my 970 still works great. I just didn't see the need to pay the extra price for OC that I would do higher anyways and a couple C difference. These cards are very pricey but for an enthusiast, you can't get anything better.

I mostly play First person shooter games I like to run things on those settings on this and requires less vram use and to come to find out this GPU is probably one of the best ones and the fact that it’s the founders edition of the super line up you can’t go wrong.

The 2080 super more than handles what I’m throwing at it. My 32” 2k 75hz monitor is a walk in the park for this GPU to run at max settings on everything. I’m cruising at 80-90 FPS on modern warfare all day long everything maxed out. I’ve coupled this with an Intel i9 so no bottlenecks. It does run a bit warm but I have a mid tower case so normal during gaming is around 70-75 degrees Celsius. I have not messed with over clocking on this yet because I don’t see the need.
I wish NVIDIA would open up the LED to more adjustment/control. With RGB and the plethora of apps and hardware to make them all work, I’m either stuck being green or turning it off. Their own software doesn’t even give the option, you have to download 3rd party software to control the LED. I’m not going to dock a star but the next generation needs to turn a new leaf and RGB it up a bit.

I've had this card for a short time, and have had absolutely no problems with it what so ever! I have a system built in 2014, and I replaced my ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 980 with this newer card. I find that this card is not noisy in my system, and also seems to run cooler. I recommend this card for those who want to upgrade a system that's not too old. Also, if you happen to be an amateur 3D artist, this card will also works rather nicely. I am currently trying it with Blender. The logo is lit, and the card has a very clean look to it. I would recommend this card for a gamer into AAA high end games.

This card has all the power you could want to run current video games, VR, or 3D and design applications. Installation was pretty easy, though I had to leave off one support bracket from my case because the twisting pressure produced a clicking sound in one of the cooling fans. On hot days running the latest games at ultra quality, it's common for the fans to spin up very loud for a short time, but you won't notice with headphones on.

This card gets a lot of flack for being in it’s own price category but realistically $700 is not bad. $650 would be a more fitting price though. So the reason why a lot of people don’t like this card is because its about 5-6% faster than a regular 2080 but the memory was purposely underclocked 1000mhz so once you up the core clock 120 and memory ~1200 it really separates itself from the 2080 and gets about 13-14% faster than a 2080.

I wish I had not returned this card. If I had known beforehand about the fever dream that was the RTX 3080 launch, I would have kept this piece of gold. RTX 3080 being a Bot's fantasy purchase prevented those of us that wished to experience the "gpu of the century." I highly recommend this gpu especially because it exists. The performance was great and it did not get hot.

At $700 it's more than half the cost of the 2080 TI. But the TI only performs about 15-20% faster. So this was a no brainier for me. Paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600x, less than 1% bottleneck with no overclocking. I'm only playing at 1080p currently so running all games at Ultra settings at over 120fps isn't a problem at all. Also running Half-Life Alyx on the Valve Index at 120hz at Ultra settings. No stutter at all, and so far it's the only game that's made my PC put out any higher thermals. So if you're building a $1,500 system, it's absolutely worth it to get the 2080 Super.

Awesome GPU. Glad to see NVIDIA used a solid aluminum chassis on this... Premium build quality and feels like a tank. Has no problems pushing any game I throw at it. My only gripe is the 8+6 pin connector... Most modern cabling from PSUs come with 2x 8 pin (adjustable to 6 pin). I had to tuck 2 pins away which kind of detracts from the super clean asthetics I was going for but oh well...
