Customers are saying

Customers value the GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card for its price-to-performance ratio, with many stating that it offers excellent performance for the price. It is considered a great option for 1440p gaming, with some users even reporting smooth performance at 4K resolution. The card's compact size is also appreciated, making it suitable for small form factor builds. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the limited 8GB VRAM, which may become a limiting factor for certain games in the future.

I've had the card for almost 6 months now without issue. It plays all the newest games at the highest settings at 1440p. While it doesn't always max out my 144Hz G-sync monitor, it still stays well above 60fps. Ray Tracing looks amazing, and turning DLSS-Quality on will make the games run buttery smooth without affecting the visual quality in any noticeable way. The FE card itself is 2 slots high and not very long compared, so it should fit in almost any regular sized case. It's also probably one of the best cards for small cases as well. It has a very sleek look, but some people may not appreciate the 8-to-12 pin power dongle, which might be an eyesore to some. It took about a week between successfully ordering the card and it shipping, but that's to be expected for such an in-demand item. You won't find a 3070 for a better price anywhere else. This is literally the only place online that sells these cards at MSRP. AIB brands may have marginally better noise and thermals, but at the cost of several hundred dollars. (Forgive the dust in the picture. I cleaned it afterward.)

Obviously this is not an easy card to get your hands on right now. I got lucky and was able to snag one of these by using an app that notified me when it was back in stock. This is an amazing card all around. I wanted this card specifically because I really like the aesthetics. It's a very sleek looking card with a premium feel to it. And I liked the idea of having the original version of the 3070. In regards to performance, it runs everything that I have thrown at it with ease. Gaming at 1440p with all the highest settings with over 120 Frames per second. The card runs very quiet and does not get over 70 degrees Celsius. This is the best value card for 1440p gaming right now in my opinion. High recommend this card.

It took a lot of time out of my weekdays every other week for a month and a half but I DID IT. This card is perfect for 1440p 144hz AND is at MSRP, which is a huge plus in these times with gpu shortages and such. The card is sleek and simple with the metal around the sides and built extremely rigid and is heavier than you'd think when you first pick it up. Performance on this thing is a beast. For 1440p gaming this is the sweet spot for price to performance especially if you're pc budget is under $2000. The temps can get a little higher than I'd like to see, i sit around 68-70C, though i also have my case fans set to quiet most of the time with the 4000d airflow. I do sometimes spike up to 74C (it's been more common recently with the temperatures getting hotter and our AC not working currently), which is above what I find to be the thermal throttle line of ~70C, but just upping the fan curve by about 5% (and a little more on a hotter day) usually brings it back down to the 68-70C range. I have an overclock of +133mHz on the core which so far has been stable for over a month. I have this paired with the 3700x (the 5000 series was difficult to come by when i bought it) and there is no bottlenecking at all. My frames are almost always 100+, except for places in ARK that have a lot of structures, but that game's also poorly optimized so that's too be expected. I play all games at epic/high settings which looks great and gives me plently of frames for it to be a very smooth experience. Good luck to everyone who's trying to get a gpu, it's difficult but it's possible with some dedication and luck. I would recommend to anyone to join a notification server on discord, they're so helpful and the reason I got a card.

Cannot believe I got lot Iucky and secured an order for this card. This is probably the greatest card you can get for 1440p and light 4k gaming. I originally purchased a 5700xt by AMD and it was a literal nightmare to deal with. High thermals, awful coil whine and even worse drivers. Im an AMD CPU fanboy, but ill never buy a GPU from them ever again. Ended up selling it for a little more than i paid and hit the jackpot randomly checking the Best Buy site a little bit ago. I dropped this card in, literally no tweaking, fiddling with power to get it stable, adjusted fan curve... nothing. This card barely topped out at 72c in cyberpunk 2077, with ULTRA Ray Tracing and DLSS on... everything I've tried to run this card bulldozed right through it and is just flawless all around. Stay hopeful and keep checking the site like I did... this is probably one of the greatest pieces of technology I've ever owned in my entire life. So glad I came back to Nvidia. (Comparing the card to my old gtx 760) this 3070 is sleek, feels well build and just a pleasure to hold and drool over.

Very late review but still a review none the less. As hard as this was to get, it was completely worth it! This is my first "new" graphics card. First owning the 970, then 1070 both pre-owned. Card is a lot smaller compared to those two, but has better cooling and power! Great for my ITX build. The card surprisingly has some heft to it even if its a surprisingly small card I use this with the Ryzen 3700x and no bottlenecks from what I've seen. In RDR 2 all high settings, I've been getting 60-90 FPS. Most game all on High to Ultra are completly playable, and this is played on a 1440p 165hz monitor. I was fortunate to get this card, so if you are lucky enough to purchase one please do! Good luck have fun and don't give into scalpers!

PERFECT for small form factor (Dan A4-SFX)

This graphics card is everything I was hoping for from Nvidia! Almost a year ago, I started building a small form factor PC, with the intent of putting a 3000-series graphics card in it. I was looking forward to the next-gen die shrink, so that I could get a lot of performance without too much power consumption (a huge plus for SFF builds). Well, a year later, this card does not disappoint! With some undervolting tweaks, I managed to get this card to run at 1875MHz and only 180W, which is more than manageable for any case with adequate cooling. In my specific case, the Dan A4-SFX, I had to make a few minor tweaks to make it perform optimally. For one, this card has some funky exhaust directions (out the rear, up, down AND through the backplate!). To compensate for the down exhaust, I added fans to the bottom of the case in exhaust direction. I also doubled up the stand-offs for the GPU riser, so that it would have extra space between the card and the back of the case compartment, for that pass-through fan that pushes air out the backplate. A secondary benefit of the extra spacing is that the front of the card is closer to the side panel now, for easier access to intake air. Overall, I am incredibly excited for this graphics card! It managed to play Monster Hunter on my 4K TV at 100 FPS, with G-Sync... what a beautiful experience hahaha. The best part... the heatsink it comes with is incredibly efficient, so it doesn't make a racket to keep the card cool. With the undervolt, it's even more impressive. I consider myself very lucky to have got my hands on a 3070, especially this Nvidia model!

Gets great performance in really any game @ 1440p. If you're looking to game @ 4k reliably I'd probably go with something beefier. But anyways, the reference design is great and my card has kept very cool (even in the cramped ITX case I've got it jammed in to). All I can say is I wish it had a bit more VRAM. Running multiple displays + a VR headset nearly maxes it out. Also, don't give in to scalpers!!!! It allows them to keep doing what they do. Look up methods for tracking card drops & camp out on the BB app Tuesday mornings. Good luck.

This is the card. What do I mean? as of now, it's very much a 1080p/240hz, 1440p/144hz, and 4k/60hz video card. Stupidly amazing for just 500$. Got this presumably after some scalper/miner's bot failed them and a cancelled order went to the store. Safe to say, I don't have to upgrade for the next three generations. I'm a 1080p gamer and pairing this with a strong processor is all I need for the next 6 years for sure. Super happy with the price-to-performance, ridiculously good cooling for a reference card, 3 year NVIDIA warranty, and excellent phone customer service with NVIDIA (In my experience). Personally, I recommend this over the 3060 ti FE as 10 fps could make the difference between 50 and 60 on higher resolutions (1440p in particular) in the future. Really, the only shame is, and this is a huge nitpick, is that this card doesn't have at least 10 GBs of VRAM and GDDR6x. But hey, you have to cut costs somewhere.

I ordered qnd payed but a glitch in their system kept me from getting it. Thankfully either mine or someone else cancelled showed up to the store and I went and got it. I upgraded from RTX 2070 Super so wasn't expecting much just wanted the HDM 2.1 but it is a surprising amount faster to me. My 2070S was an FE as well with the old Turing design and I find this cooler much better. It blows air out of the IO ports like I have some indistrial hair dryer except the mild temperature. Card is really good build quality and although the jump from 2070S was larger than expected despite watching several reviews I wouldn't upgrade unless I needed the newer HDMI 2.1 port. LG C1 is my "monitor" so no DP option. I can't stress enough how good the card is though it still is mind boggling how much more efficient the card is. My CPU does not run cooler despite some air coming out of it and running up through RAM, SSD, and CPU but my clocks seem to have gone up 25Mhz which isnt much but is repeatable. I think it has something to do with my Bios having a temp target around 72 degrees on CPU while the GPU maxes out at 59-60 degrees and doesn't go above it regardless if how hard I am pushing it. That is with a custom fan curve where the fans are typically at 50%. Used afterburner to scan and apply curve because im too lazy to dial in good OCs anymore. Runs at 2010 MHz constantly under load. I have seen dips to 1985Mhz a couple times but cant seem to recreate when it happens and why. A more aggressive fan curve would likely help here and I am positive I could get it up to 2100Mhz or more if i really wanted to mess around with OC. Regardless love the FE design on the 3070, not a big fan of the 12 pin when an 8 pin could fit (if they wanted to put an 8 instead of 12 pin that is)but that is my only gripe and it is minor.

HUGE upgrade over what I've somehow kept alive over the last few years. Paired with my i5 8600k, this thing runs games maxed at 1080p with no issues. I expect this will do everything I need it to do for years to come, with room to grow into 1440p or even 4k in the future. If/when you can get one, do it. After only about 2 hours of gameplay in AC: Valhalla and I'm not looking back. No buyer's remorse here! Also, the dang thing is small. Compared to the GTX 970 I replaced, it's maybe an inch shorter. Crazy that it's twice as fast! The only negative is the position and direction of the power connector. Not sure what they were thinking. I missed out on getting my free mini 8 pin connector from Seasonic but this does come with the adapter, but it's terrible for a clean look as is.

This is my first Nvidia GPU, and I have to say, this thing blew my expectations away. Coming from an aging HD7770, the performance is immense. In forza horizon 4, I get 150+ FPS with the game’s settings completely maxed out at 1080p, and 80+ fps at 4K maxed out. War thunder runs great, minecraft rtx runs great. Fans don’t come on until games fire off, and the card is quiet even when in game. The only noise I hear while gaming is a slight coil whine, but it isn’t bad. Card is quite small, and will fit in almost any build. The only thing I don’t like is the included dongle and 12 pin connector, which ruin my build’s cable aesthetics. Also, it is HARD to get.

Amazing GPU esp coming from an GTX 660. If you were on the lucky ones like me that were able to get this on a random Thursday morning, don't be a scalper and try to sell this for triple the price. Keep this and use it for your newly built PC! Card is decent size, and was able to fit in just right for my Fractal Design Meshify C case. This is beast of a graphics card. Hits the sweet spot in terms of value, pricing, and what it does.

Was lucky enough to get one at launch. Great card, 3440x1440 runs most games at 100FPS. Call of Duty runs insanely well, with barely any FPS drops. AC Valhalla on 4K on my tv, medium settings runs at a completely solid 60FPS and looks fantastic. i7 6700K pairs great with this, even though it's an older CPU, every game seems to pair pretty well with this card. My temp is up to 78C, but with some undervolting I might be able to reach like 70C. Also I am on ITX, specifically the Evolv Enthoo ITX and this card fits pretty well. The ability for the fans to push air through the card to help cools makes it get better thermals than my GTX 1080 did.

Purchased this card to replace my MSI 5700xt mech oc. Was having regrets waiting for the card to arrive. After firing up the card and playing some rounds of Apex legends the regrets disappeared. First time owning a founders edition. Card runs cool and silent. Did not brake a sweat during 4K @ 60hz. Night and day compared to the 5700xt. Don't get me wrong, the 5700xt is great card. Probably did not have to upgrade but when the add to cart stays yellow you have to click it. Not sure why Nvidia had to mess things up with the 12-pin power plug and putting it smack in the middle. To top it off, only 6 pins of the 12 pin plug is populated. Why did you have to go mess up my fantastic sleeved red cabling I had setup. The adapter is short and stiff (Nvidia also says 3rd party adapters could void warranty). During install of drivers, was scared for minutes as my screen went blank. Fortunately, that ~3-4 minute scare ended with successful installation. No RGB, no nvidia letter backlighting, kind of dull design, and not that nice to look at. Besides that the card runs fantastic. People say either buy the 3060ti (which I did as well) or the 3080. I say buy what you want and be happy. This card will definitely make you happy.

I was able to get it! Its now in my computer! This was a journey and lots of time to get to this point. With the stimulus my wife approved me building a PC for the first time in years. Problem with that was there was no stock. Guys and Gals do not give up watch Bestbuy, be signed in, have all cards updated, and the verification do text instead of emails because its instant. Now to the card. It handles everything I throw at it. The GPU auto overclocks as needed. I bet it would go higher but for games and my 3d printing cad it works just fine as is. As soon as i tossed this card in my system I ran some benchmarks and was surprised with a beeping noise from what I thought was my power supply. Turns out after some digging that it was pulling too much wattage for my ups so I guess that turns this into a space heater. MSRP is so nice.

Absolutely amazing. People have been saying it's impossible to buy a graphics card for retail. It took me literally a week. Follow a stock alert twitter account and turn notifications on, BB usually drops 7am PST, later in the week with decent enough bot protection. I was able to return my crappy HP "OEMen" prebuilt and build an amazing PC for about the same price with an Alderlake CPU. Best of luck!

Amazing GPU, I upgraded from an old GTX 970 and the performance is insane! The FPS in every game is almost tripled. Temps are about 36C to 70C depending on the load, my room temp is currently 74F. Overclocking is not that great, I got the core clocks to 2085Mhz and memory clock is 7500MHz, didn't see a big difference in games. The new 12 pin connection is eh, why change the 8 pin connectors?
