For 1080p gaming, the card gets the job done. Not impressive and not bad, however it's a premium price for what is not premium performance.

I received my gpu in early January but didn’t notice how poor the performance was until recently. On minecraft i can run about 120fps.Apex only around 30-40(lowest settings). And fortnite a very unstable 120(huge fps drops)It preforms the same as a old 1660 ti.

If you dont already have a card and want something that looks slick to play emulators or esports, older titles then you will be just fine at 1080p-1440p. You can go with a 6700xt and save some cash, but the 4060ti generally peforms better but not by a huge margin. Don't expect to run these poorly optimized AAA titles with this one a max settings though. If you have an equivalent last gen card then dont bother.

    Terrible Gen on Gen performance

If you want your GPU to last longer than 2 years without it taking a massive performance hit in future games, I highly suggest skipping this card. 8 GB of Vram, even at 1080p, will very quickly become too small for AAA games, and the game will resort to using your system memory, which will be much slower. There's a reason they're coming out with a 16gb version.

Upgraded from 3060 ti and returned it

I am confused as to what Nvidia was thinking by releasing this card. There is *no* performance upgrade over the 3060 ti. The lack of at least increasing VRAM (still 8gb) is beyond comprehension. I bought the card thing DLSS 3 was going to see gains in gaming but in many cases it was worse since games are barely even using DLSS 3 optimization. You can get 3060 tis for ove $100 less than this that perform even better. Nvidia claims some voodoo about smaller bus width yet better performance and it simply doesnt hold up. Save your money and get a last grn 3060 to or even a 3070/3070 to fir the same price that will be far better for gaming. 8gb of VRAM fir a 4th gen card is beyond absurd especially considering there are no gains over last gen.

Great card if you’re upgrading from an older GPU

For me this card is a huge upgrade coming from a 5600. I cant advise this GPU if youre coming from a card more recent, as people have said its not a big jump frombthe 3060 ti.

    Ti stands for tiny improvement

    Posted .

This card is an absolute joke, performance is either on par with the 3060 ti or 5% better in game benchmarks. For any 3060/Ti owners stay away from this "upgrade". The only two minor reasons I could see this card being justified is for DLSS3 (fake frames) or the higher efficiency (which is a fair argument).
