    Great Looks, Challenging Build

The case itself is stunning. I love the style of the case with our without the LEDs turned on. The documentation is terrible. The LED controller built into this case is also terrible. It can only run two channels at a time, but if you install any NZXT led components the cables will not be long enough to reach the out port on the LED fans in the front that you will need to buy a HUE 2 controller to control extra LEDs. So if you are planning to add a third NZXT AER 2 fan, you will also need to install a HUE 2 controller, or you will need to unplug the LED strip in the case in order to use the LED port on the cases smart controller. Be advised that a 240mm Radiator does not fit the front fan cage well. I was able to get mine to work, but it was a terrible job. Buy a 280 Radiator if you are going with an AIO, or just air cool your CPU.

Nice construction, major lack of space/wrong specs

BE WARNED: If you plan on installing a current-gen GPU with a liquid CPU cooler, you're in for an adventure. The specs lists the maximum GPU length at 381mm, this is simply not true. The GPU I tried to install is 340mm, and it did not have 41mm of clearance to the front fan bracket like the specs suggest. It had so little clearance that a radiator could not be installed on the front, and this is the ONLY location that a multi-fan radiator can be installed. With an air-cooled CPU, a GPU will fit, but likely not much longer than about 360mm. There is no space in the top of the case for a multi-fan radiator, but there is space for a single-fan if it will clear the CPU block. The GPU can be mounted vertically against the side of the case, but again the 381mm is extremely optimistic. In my case, the end of my GPU is angled so the radiator and GPU would fit, but only because of that angle in the GPU housing. Further, mounting the GPU this way would have put the fans up against the glass and possible restricted airflow to the GPU fans. Ultimately, to get the GPU to fit into the case I would have needed a riser cable, which would put the total cost of the case up around the price of larger cases in which space wouldn't be an issue. If you have a smaller GPU (or are going with a conventional air-cooled CPU) you're probably just fine. If you have a newer GPU that's pushing 350mm long or more, either be prepared to put some serious work into space management or look elsewhere. Note: Images attached show clearance issue between the GPU (13.4" / 340mm) and radiator.

Aesthetic wise this case is absolutely amazing and the ease of building in this thing is incredible and nzxt outdid themselves on this one but if you're going to be running anything over an I-5 or a low-grade gpu you are going to have thermal problems because of the glass front if you're not going to mod the front glass I recommend going with their new air flow but if you don't have high-end stuff this case is awesome and it already comes with awesome fans so you are saving money on that so it's actually a great value and good build quality.

Awesome case that is not intrusive in size and displays all of your PC specs behind a nice tempered glass panel. The cable management is easy and there is a ton of space below for your PSU, hard drives, and a gap for all of your wiring. Do beware that this case is designed for an ATX motherboard and already comes with the notch already installed.

The case it self is fine, however comma.. the NZXT software in this thing is A M A Z I N G. Paired with other NZXT fans and coolers, there’s so much control and is x10000 better thang razor synapse.

This case is amazing. Nzxt Cam is nice to have. The only issue I have with the case is that the optional fan that comes with the Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black) will not fit. Even without the second fan the temps are really good.

This is the case I currently use for my gaming rig, and I have a 280mm Corsair RGB Platinum cooler up front. It look awesome behind the glass panel. My biggest gripe with this case is that for the money, I would have expected PWM fans to be included but both the 120mm and 140mm case fans they include are only 3-pin DC fans, so they run louder than I would like. I ended up replacing them with Corsair LL120 fans anyway as I wanted RGB, but I was hoping to be able to re-use the stock case fans somewhere else, but DC fans are not much fun as they are usually too loud. One thing I find strange is that on the NZXT web site, they specifically sat it comes with their Aer 120 and 140 fans that are supposed to be PWM? Other than that the main issues I have with the case is due to the size, it's a bit tight to get cables nicely managed and with the lack of room up top I was unable to use a 140mm fan up there due to the 12V ATX power supply connector. The stock case fan just barely fit, but Corsair LL140 fans which are a bit taller won't fit. So I ended up with a 120mm fan up top.

I like the case but the main issue I had was trying to get the RGB lights all working together. I ended up buying 2 more NZXT 120mm RGB fans and one more 140mm NZXT RGB fans that match the RGB fans of the case. For whatever reason NZXT did not include RGB fans on the read exhaust or top on the case. This makes no sense because I then had to spend another $100 on RGB fans and a controller. I had to hook up an additional controller (which wouldn’t fit in the back of the case) to control the other RGB fans I added. I couldn’t use the case controller to control all of them which was a bummer. I mounted the other controller on the bottom of the case as you can see in the picture. All in all it’s a decent case with good cable management but for the cost it should include all RGB fans with the case. One last note is if you mount a radiator you likely will not be able to add fans to it due to space constraints. I’m currently using air cooling in my setup.
