They appreciate that the bike feels solid and well-built, and they are impressed with how long the battery lasts on a single charge. Some customers also find the bike to be a lot of fun to ride. However, a few customers have mentioned that the suspension is a bit rough when riding off-road.

This is a solid and stable bike! So far the battery is lasting a long time. My husband likes the lights on the side and the customizations in the app. The NFC key is pretty cool.
I have a cheapy ebike I bought online and bought this one for my husband and it is on a whole other level of quality and sturdiness.
Okai customer service has been easy and pleasant to work with.
Pros: stable, solid, nice looking, fun lights and other app options, NFC keys, super smooth ride
Cons: This bike is heavy!
Steps 7&8 were a bottleneck in the assembly process but otherwise instructions for assembly were good and the rest of the assembly was pretty easy.
It comes partially assembled where you attach the front tire and handlbars with some simple tools that are included.

It’s a great ride. It’s a solid built bike well worth the money. It’s not the best off-road but it holds its own unlocked speed sensor in the app and get up to 28miles finders kind of flimsy plastic overall nothing bad to say about the bike

Love this bike!!! I am a big guy at 6’4” and a happy meal away from 300lbs and I am completely comfortable on this bike for being 65 years young. We live in a hilly neighborhood and the bike has no issues getting me up and down to where I want to go. I love the quick option of using the pedals and back to electric for the tough inclines especially since I haven’t ridden a bike in years. I also want to add that the bikes fit beautifully on the back of our RV so we are very excited to go explore the back roads and wooded paths we don’t normally get to see. The bikes are made very well, easy to put together and were delivered very fast, very happy with this purchase!

If I could rate this bike negative 5 stars i would. I ordered the bike on the Best Buy app and it was delivered mid January of this year. I put the bike together immediately and began using it for my very short commute to work. The bike appeared sturdy at first but then I began to notice things like when I hit the front brakes the wheel would rub against the wheel gaurd and the brake lever became loose. These small things did not upset me and i continued to ride it to and from work. After owning the bike for 2 months and only putting 53 miles on it, it completely broke. First the throttle on the handlebar stopped working, not the worst thing because at least i still had pedal assist. Then the pedal assist went. Bike is as useless as a paperweight now at almost 100lbs which makes it impossible to ride without some sort of assist. I contacted Best Buy who told me that the bike was no longer returnable and to contact the manufacturer. So I contacted Okai via email and the first representative told me that the bike was out of warranty. It is not, warranty on parts and labour is 6 months. I informed him of this fact and he passed me on to management. Management sent a really nice initial email but has not contacted me since and has not replied to my repeated attempts to get answers/solutions. I have called repeatedly as well and they are not helpful on the phone. The only response I recieved from management was 2 weeks ago. So not only is the bike built poorly but their customer service is atrocious. Also, if you buy this bike and it breaks good luck getting it serviced by someone. None of the local bike shops around me will service my bike because it's not a bike that they currently sell. Guess I will be contacting my local news channel to see if they can resolve this issue for me!

It is a very comfortable bike is very good for the street, you turn looks where you pass the only problem is the transportation is very heavy and the frame does not help.

The Okai ranger I received was poorly assembled, they had managed to leave a wooden tire lever inside the rear wheel.
This punctured both the inner tube and tyre in an explosive failure which was incredibly loud and instantly threw me off.
I was very lucky I was only traveling at walking pace, at 28 mph this would have been catastrophic and painful if not deadly.
Okai will not even apologize or admit that this was a manufacturing defect let alone pay for the damage.
I am having to take them to court for reimbursement so I suggest you avoid this manufacturer at all costs.

This review will be detailing my personal experience with the bike from unboxing to testing.
Receiving the bike: the app didn't exactly fill me in that it was being delivered, had to check on it manually but otherwise, delivery guy came a few days early, was super friendly, and put the bike in the garage on a pallet.
Unboxing the bike: it was tied down to a pallet, so I recommend having a sharp knife or scissors ready. It came packaged really well, the only thing that was damaged was a license plate holder, which in Illinois, you don't need to register a class 2 e-bike (if I recall correctly). The whole bike was wrapped in packaging foam, so none of the paint or body was dented or scratched, very happy to see that.
Assembling the bike: although I was able to get the bike assembled by myself, it's a lot easier to have a second person holding the bike steady so you can attach the front wheel. The license plate holder which I mentioned came attached to the bike, and in the instructions, and video on how to get the bike assembled, there was no diagram or mention of a license plate holder, so I had to find a tool to grip onto the nuts to get it off, let's just say holding onto an 80 something pound bike with your stomach isn't the most comfortable feeling in the world lol. Otherwise, assembly took me about 2 hours and it was pretty seamless.
Using the bike: the bike has a built in touch screen and settings that you can change if you don't want to pull out your phone. Since it doesn't have an ambient light sensor, I recommend putting brightness all the way up. Controls are simple, 4 buttons. There's a plus and minus for increasing/decreasing pedal assist, which there are 4 modes (0-3, 0 is off, 3 is max power output), your headlight switch, and power button underneath those. The bike is capped off at 20 miles per hour to keep it in its class 2 classification, but I read somewhere that in October 2022, you could unlock a higher top speed in the app, and I scanned through every nook and cranny, and found no such setting, so I guess they changed their minds.
Level 1 pedal assist gets you up to 15 mph, level 2 I believe gets you up to 18, and level 3 is 20. There is a thumb throttle on the left side of the bike that will spin the motor from a dead stop, and get you up to 20 miles per hour at a pace that will put a smile on your face (at full charge of course). There's still good pickup at even 30% battery remaining, but a bit slower, which is expected. I've taken it on a couple of rides and put about 60 miles on it already, and immediately what I began to notice is the front handlebars got loose, so when applying just the front brakes, you can lose control a bit under hard braking, and the rear brakes squeak, so that may need a bit of adjustment. And changing gears, it seems to like 8th gear the most, and really dislikes 7th gear, it sounds like it scrapes on something? Not sure what that's about. The light bars on the sides do add a bit of flare to the design of the bike, and in the few rides I've taken, it's turned quite a few heads. This could also be a me issue, but the seat is not the most comfortable thing in the world, if you don't like semi-hard seats, I recommend switching to a different seat post.
Overall: this is a fantastic bike, excellent build quality, the paint is immaculate, the motors don't make too much noise, and it's an absolute blast to ride. I've still yet to do a full range test full throttling it in my area, will probably update this review if best buy lets me with those numbers, but so far I'm able to go about 30ish miles with a mix of level 2 and full throttle. If you can snag a discount code, this is an excellent choice (also, please okai, let there be an unlocked mode again, I can feel the motor cutting out at 20 and I need speeeeeeeed)

Hello, I have had this bike for about a month now and it’s a great ride. Very sturdy and would suggest to my friends to buy one. I have two complaints about the bike though. First complaint when I go a crossed bumps, it feels like my friend shocks are loose and complaint number two my left pedal when it goes around certain spot, it clicks. I will be looking at both of them today to observe what exactly is going on but overall great bike.I wish I could pedal faster on the gears

If you can't get the bike to go above 20mph, it's because the manufacturer locked that feature in the app. To go around this, find the version of the app 3.0.2 on the internet and use that. It unlocks the full potential of 30mph.

Has good range in battery .. Suspension is a little rough without rear shocks going off road , regular street riding is no problem . Top speed is only 20mph with my weight I guess 200lbs .. Over all is a good bike you get a lot for the money no doubt..

Easy Comfortable Ride With Power

Just took my first ride on my new Okai Ranger. This ride is a beast of a bike with tons of power and a comfortable ride. The front shocks take away most of the bumps and the seat is very comfortable.
There are multiple ride options: peddle only, peddle with throttle assist when needed, level one with some assist with levels two and three increasing the assist. It is limited to 20mph for regulation purposes but I’m guessing there might be a way around that but not sure I want more than that.
So far it is a great bike, ready for the trails and a brewery or two!

I am loving my new OKAI Ranger. I had been looking for an e-bike for a few months but I really didn't want to spend more than $3,000. The Ranger has everything I wanted in an e-bike, and more, at a much more affordable price than it's counterparts.
The bike arrived packaged very securely and was easy to assemble, it took two of us 20 minutes.
The beefy tires handle gravel paths with ease, the front suspension makes for a comfortable ride and the LED light bar and headlight are frosting on the cake. The battery power lasts much longer than indicated. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend the Ranger.
