There aren't many "new" monitors that are being manufactured at this odd performance point: a 32" 1440p monitor. I got it to accompany my new NVIDIA GTX 1080. I didn't want to invest in another card for the full 4k experience and felt like 1440p was just the right place. Monitor is fantastic. Haven't had any trouble running my NVIDIA card at 75hz. Obviously, FreeSync doesn't work but it looks fantastic! Great colors, big size... all in all, very satisfied for the performance at this price. ($379)

This is the 32 inch HP you should get. HP makes 4 versions of this a silver with average speakers, a black with average speakers (both branded as pavilion, then an Silver unit with high end speakers branded as ENVY.. All three of those are 60hz panels..this unit is a 75hz freesync capable panel (though if you use freesync I suggest reprogramming the floor to 35hz from 48). In 1992 the ISO (international standards organization) mandated that all CRT monitors needed to be 72hz which is why most were in the early 90s, including early flat panels , then in the late 90s early 2000s some manufactures convinced them to lift the standard and instill a new one through VESA that utilized a formula that (almost no matter what data you plug in) comes back with a mandated minimum of 60hz.. the reason was so they could use cheaper components in the panels. When it comes to HZ the minimum should be 72hz to lessen eye strain and flicker.(tons of research has been done) some people need even more. While this panel lacks speakers the 75 hz capability is important. For a VA panel the color is fairly good about 95% of my pro level IPS panel and response time is good for a VA panel of this size. You will enjoy the extra space pixel size is the same as a 24inch 1080p (you just get more space with 2560*1440.

    Excellent Large Hi-Res Monitor

I bought this not for gaming (for which I think this monitor was designed for) but to use at my work office for performing construction estimating takeoffs. I need a good hi-res monitor for viewing plans on my PC and my last employer was such a fool they went and bought me a TV monitor at wally world which would give me fuzzy plan details and caused me to have to zoom in to the point I had carpal tunnel. I forced them to buy me an HP Envy which was also a high-res 32" monitor which, if you can afford it, is the best in my opinion with the Beats audio system. That monitor was the best but was I think nearly double the cost of this one. Since I was shelling out the dough for it this time I chose the Omen as it was every bit the same quality monitor as the Envy without the audio system for which I was not going to pay $300-400 more with my own cashola. Sorry Dr. Dre, not this time but I was more than happy to stick it to my last employer for yas which was almost as good as when Khan marooned Kirk in the center of a dead planet. In short, if you are looking for a great big hi-res monitor for your computer you should consider this one for top quality and value. If you want the top dawg then look at the 32" HP Envy with Beats audio.

    Very Good Big Monitor

Bought this 32" monitor for more screen geometry for stock trading. Although the packaging was somewhat beat up, the monitor was perfect with no screen defects. My only complaint is that the power switch and other controls are all on the back and very inconvenient for touch-up tuning and to power on and off. This was probably to allow for the thinnest bezel all the way around.

Great monitor.Had it fur a couple of months now. It's big and clear. Verify little back light bleed on bright settings. Little lag for FPS games. Nothing terrible though.

Bought this to replace a dead 28" monitor. Its the perfect size for what I do and the slightly higher resolutions are nice as my icons arent the size of head.

Hard to believe a 32" monitor with these features is only $400. Replaced a $1200 LG 34" Freesync curved monitor that I was on my 3rd unit because Freesync never worked.

32 inches of great colors and blacks. Colors are easily adjustable and you can change response time. I was surprised that there are two hdmi ports and only one display port so I can't daisy chain monitors of the display port (but 32 inches I don't really need another monitor!). I have a Nvidia graphics card so I can't comment on the FreeSync capabilities.

The monitor is good. For people looking to use freesync with their video cards please use the Freesync quick view. I had trouble trying to get mine to work before I realized that.

although i did have to return this product after about 14 days (only because my pc did not have the necessary graphics etc. to get the full experience from the Omen)---i can tell you for sure i eventually will own a newer PC and there's no question "The Omen" will someday make a return to my house!!! only reason i could not give it a 5-star was due to a slightly more than normal "Wobble"..........
