It's all the Deadpool you'd expect with a lot less gore, only a few dirty words and a heck of a lot more Fred Savage! We loved the original and will admit we only bought this to see the new scenes...and they did not disappoint. Perfect for any Deadpool fan who might want a little more family in their family movie.

    Not Really PG-13!

I love the Deadpool movies. This one is good too but if you are thinking it is a fun watch with the kids, perhaps not. There are a few cringe worthy moments when the wife looks at you with the “really?!?” look on her face. And, yes, likely the mom with the look though perhaps some dads would feel the same.

I am a huge fan of the DP series. The one thing that was difficult is that my kids are huge Marvel movie fans and these were just not for them yet. When this version of DP was released last year, I took them to see it and was more than surprised at how the humor remained, despite not being R rated.

From the first Deadpool I was an instant fan. No real spoiler here But after DP forms the XForce it gets pretty funny. Cable is chasing them most of the time. And a kid dead in the center of the chaos. Problem child. DP is so ridiculous and thats why it works. Also a Domino fan

This is a very well done yet watered down PG-13 version of the R rated feature film. However, the way that it was done makes it very funny and well worth watching for the added scenes and the way it was formatted for the PG-13 version. So much fun that I won't spoil it here in this review other than to say you really have to watch it. It is well worth it!

this movie was already funny without the PG-13 in it but I suppose since they were going for a more kid-friendly kind of movie I would say that this is still one of the best I enjoyed watching Ryan Reynolds and Fred Savage go back to back various conversations throughout the movie.

Let’s face it if your a Deadpool fan you are not looking for PG-13, but this was better than I thought it would be. Also I was happy to see the price wasn’t ridiculous just because it is Deadpool and Marvel and most people interested have Deadpool 2 already. It was worth it.

ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL is an odd take on being a fairy tale, but it remains a fun tale most of the family can enjoy. Minus all the foul language, sexual displays and adult content, this film remains a fun parody of many other cinema super heroes and the like. It's a wonderfully entertaining compliment to its DEADPOOL ONE & TWO.. BUY IT AND ENJOY!

If you don't want your kids to watch the R-Rated movie, this is the movie for you. They added some material and reduced the gore and language so it's technically PG-13- still a bit of a stretch for PG-13 but I think it's close enough-- better than having a kid find a way to watch the R rated version without your knowledge.

Not sure what I expected, except less profanity. Basically the same story with the addition of now grown up child star, Fred Savage. The exchanges between Ryan Reynold's Deapool and Savage (who plays himself) are added into the feature and are mostly hilarious. Then the original Deadpool2 film pretty much replays itself with the promised diminished spicy dialogue parts. This may work for those who don't like Merk with a Mouth profanities, but it's still a long way from being kid friendly, as the violence mostly remains. Then again, since it was it was PG-17 before and this is PG-13, some children will get to see this version and may even appreciate it. Once Upon a Deadpool was still fun and a nifty side-version worth seeing.

My teenage kids were really wanting to watch the Deadpool movie. This was a great alternative to the rated r version. Language and content were pretty appropriate for what I expected in a pg13 rating. As for the movie, e love it. Good humor with lots of action!

They definitely toned down the violence and language. I bought it for my kids to see. There are still a few suggestive things in the movie so keep in mind the pg-13 rating and what that means for movies these days. As an adult, stick with original version.

I love Deadpool, and I love that they were both R, however that means my kids can't watch them for a few years. This version didn't ruin Deadpool 2 and I could share one of my favorite movies with them. I only wish they'd do a re-cut of the first one as well

After originally not wanting to see this film, I caved into peer pressure and saw it in the theater.....and really enjoyed it. The PG13 rating is still a little too strong for very young ones, but they did pull it off successfully, and added loads of funny references from the 80's, 90's, and cinematic universes.

I could enjoy this movie because the F word was bleeped out. and was glad of that, makes a movie more enjoyable when that word is not in there every so often. too many times it runis the movie. it is not used in my home and we don't like to hear it

I initially wasn't sure how this would be. it just sounded too gimmicky and I wasn't a big fan of the sequel to begin with. however, watching it with my kids, it was great. I think the limitations of PG-13 forced them to be a little more clever with the jokes and dialogue. really enjoyable for the whole family.

My son really wanted to see a Deadpool movie. They are R rated, and IMO, not for kids. This retelling of DP2, cuts out a lot of the violence/gore, and most of the truly horrific language. Plus, it pokes fun at itself and there are other surprises. I actually prefer this version to the theatrical one.

First off if you have to choose between Deadpool 2 or this, it’s Deadpool 2, no contest. But if you want to watch a re-edit with new scenes and a pretty awesome framing story with Fred Savage, it’s not a bad choice. A pG13 edit done right.

I loved Deadpool 2, and picked this up on a whim. The extra footage added with Fred Savage was hilarious, but you have to be a fan of "The Princess Bride" for most of the jokes to work. Think of this as a PG re-edit, but not as damaging to the original as George Lucas's Star Wars meddling.
