So much easier to manage my sprinkler schedule with the app. Functionality wise, install, wiring and setup was super easy. The state (Utah) I live in has $75 rebates for this smart controller, so it ended up costing me less $27 with tax included! BestBuy had the best price around, easily beating the local hardware stores by $20-$30. I was contemplating the more expensive 16 zone 57995 B-Hyve model. But that was over twice as much, and this 12 zone model more than met my needs. It should also should be mentioned that regardless of what Orbit B-Hyve Smart Controller you buy, the app functionality is identical between all of them. So keep that in mind. The 57995 model looks really cool and has 4 extra zones (I only need 9), but when it's just going to sit in a corner of my garage, that wasn't worth twice the price.

Ok so I’m happy with this but it’s a bit of a chord to figure out all the programming but once you do it’s great! Best part of course is the WiFi app as I can confirm and adjust my water without going outside and I don’t waste water on rainy days anymore

So glad I upgraded to this sprinkler controller. I can access & do what I need it to do thru my phone on the app.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my Dad. Set up was fine & app interface was good, but once I had verified that all the zones were working & was finishing up, I returned to the panel & found the screen flashing off & on. I tried unplugging the panel to reset it, but it continued. I looked up online how to troubleshoot & also tried the interventions suggested but to no avail. I'm very disappointed with this happening brand-new out of the box & will likely look into another product.

Easy to set up as a replacement from a standard controller and works great.
