This steamer is an excellent value at about $40.00. The size should meet the needs of most single adults and small families. It is also very easy to clean. I use it often!

I have had one just like this one for 8 -10 years…use it constantly in the summer. Bought this one as a gift to a budding chef-gardener to encourage using lots of veggies from the garden. He is really enjoying it too! Have looked at a lot of them but this is by far the most useful. Can also do hard boiled eggs in them and they come out near perfect every time.

My family & I enjoy this kitchen addition. We have steamed foods for a long time using just a basket steamer in a dutch oven. Also,had a rice cooker with an aluminum liner, which I did not want to continue using due to concerns regarding cooking with aluminum. The 2 different sized cooking bowls and rice bowl make this steamer very versatile. We have cooked 3 lobster in the large bottom bowl and crab-legs in the top at 1 time - best ever. We have also steamed cod, corn on the cob, and rice. Everything turns out good! I love the fact that all of the bowls and drip tray are top shelf dishwasher safe. The steam base is easy to clean. And as far as drying out the water inlet, after rinsing and shaking out as much as possible, cotton swabs can be used to swab out any remaining water droplets by inserting from the inside of the base.

Very satisfied with this steamer. Everything worked better than I had expected. Comes with lots of useful setting and easy to understand instructions.

They product is the " must buy" product. I have used a couple of other steamers. This one is the only one stands out of the crowd. Easy to clean. cooked evenly. Look and feel durable.

I bought this steamer/rice cooker to replace my Black and Decker Handy Steamer burned out after about 16 years of use (approximately once a week). I mainly wanted a steamer to use as a rice cooker, but with this new steamer, which is slightly larger and two tiered, I've found it useful to cook rice and veggies at the same time, or to reheat food in the top tier while cooking in the bottom tier. It takes up a little more room that I would like, but all in all, it seems like a good product. I've only had it for about a month, so I can't comment on durability. One comment is that the timing instructions for white vs. brown rice seem to be reversed -- clearly brown rice takes longer than white. I used the timing from the instructions for my old steamer and they worked fine.

This is a really good steamer. I have only one complaint. The steaming baskets are made from a brittle plastic. Should you drop or manhandle them, they will break. My previous steamer (Sunbeam) had a much higher quality/grade plastic. I have been very careful with them, but even washing them, I am always concerned that they can easily break.

Outside water filler is either too small or too narrow. Need to use a small funnel so water doesn't go all over the countertop when adding water..

This steamer does a nice job cooking food. Broccoli and rice are very tasty, though the rice takes a bit long. Other veggies are good; it even makes hot dogs taste better.

I steam mostly vegetables and the large steam basket is perfect for lots of broccoli! Especially love the stacked baskets where you can steam different foods at once. It's very easy to use and to clean up.

This is my seconded steamer, same brand and similar model. First model I had for approximately 8 years before it gave out. I used it daily. Great for streaming veggies and rice.

I never knew how easy it was to have fresh steamed vegetables for my meals. This has proven to be very useful in my household. Well worth the money.

This two tier steamer makes it easier to stay on a healthier eating track.As one other customer stated the flavors are infused .Plan on getting a lot of use from this wonderful product.

Basically good, thought I was getting a higher tech electronic timer version.
