This case appealed to me because of the slim design especially if you pocket your phones. Even though it is slim, the protection is robust and miles better than leaving your phone naked.

This is my second OtterBox case. They work great. It is always a shame to cover up any of the new phones, they look assume , but if you think you need the added protection of a case, OtterBox is the way to go. Simple to put on and take off and gives great protection from drops. The new one I got for my S8 , it even has a little plug built in to cover the charging port and head phone port. Great value for the money.

I got this case when I purchased my new S8 and I think it's an absolute STEAL of an item except for ONE small design flaw. When you put the case onto a phone with a Zagg screen, it sometimes causes some..."issues" with the bottom of the screen. Other than that, it's a great-looking case (that looks even better with a SkinIt sticker on the back!), it's VERY protective (I've already accidentally dropped the phone once and had NO problems), is made with a substance that feels durable and yet sort of soft to the touch, it doesn't make the phone ultra thick, and it seems to really do a great job!

I recommend the Otterbox commuter series for my Samsung Galaxy S8 it protects my screen and protects my investment this is my 1st outer Box and I will buy more in the future

With the new samsung 8 phone being all glass having a case is prudent. This is a very sturdy case. I feel it will adequately protect my phone from any heavy impact or drop.

Probably the best protection for the S8 without a built-in screen protector. The S8 Infinity screen doesn't allow for an Otter Box with a built-in screen protector though the ZAG HD press-on screen protector works pretty well with the Otter Box for the S8.

Had an Otter Box on my previous Samsungs and will not get any other type. It never broke. It protected mine and my 11 year old's phone for 2 years...Just excellent

Otterbox offers great protection! My phone has been dropped a few times, and there is not even a scratch. Otterbox is the only brand of phone cases my family buys.

I'm happy with my case purchase. I was deciding between the Symmetry and this Commuter. The main difference I seen between the two are the Commuter has two dust covers on the bottom that covers the charger port and headphone jack. It also seems slightly thicker built. The Symmetry is just a hair thinner and no port covers. I decided to get the Commuter because of the slightly more protection and if the dust covers get in my way I can cut them off!

I have had this case for about 2 months now and thus far it has been great. The two main things I look for in a case are a slim fit and drop protection and this case has both. Besides being impact resistant it also has raised edges on the top and bottom to protect the display when the phone is dropped. My phone has already taken a couple minor drops and neither the phone or the case show any damage.

This case is great not to big and cover the screen edges completely. The only down fall is that it very slippery and the hand. Overall, I do recommend this case for anyone looking for full body day to day protection for there Galaxy s8.

I have been an Otterbox user for several years now. I have epilepsy and am prone to muscle spasms that cause me to drop or slightly toss my phone without warning. I have been using the Commuter level cases for multiple phones, they're not the decorative rubber cases or the extreme ones for construction workers or anything, just the middle grade style. I had the Galaxy S7 before I switched plans and got the S8. When I had the S7, my epilepsy got the best of me one day and I fell down a flight of hardwood steps, my phone was in my hand and came with me. It bounced all the way down the 15 steps and hit a wall at the bottom. There was only a very small scuff and paint transfer from the wall that rubbed off, but the phone was completely undamaged. I have yet to have an incident with this new case, but I'm sure that I won't be disappointed with it's performance. By the time I'm ready to upgrade my phones, I could give it to anyone and they would not be able to tell that I had it for 2+ years because the cases are so good that it keeps the phone in mint condition.

This is my 1st Otterbox. I opted for the Commuter because it is somewhat lighter than the Defender. So far so good. Let's hope that it protects the screen.

So for very good! I haven't dropped my phone yet. I can't imagine having a curved edge phone like this S-8 and not have it protected. This case fits the phone perfectly. It is much easier to remove and place in my pockets than thicker ones which are almost too heavy. I'm learning to keep my fingers off the camera lens. Thanks for a good product to protect such a valuable item!

Not expensive and perfect fit on galaxy phone. And you can always pull it up and price match it cheaper by like $15 on any price match site love it!!

I love the OtterBox covers. It keeps the outside and back of my phone protected. Wish they came up with one that could protect the front too.

Bought this case to have before leaving the store. Glad this case has a acceptable grip and not to bulky. Recommend to avoid slip out of hand.

Had Otter Box with my previous phone and it saved my phone so many times. It is the only case I have ever owned and consider it a must have!

We have had this case for a month now and have dropped the phone in that time. The case held up well and there are no marks on the product.

Love otter box cases, and that I can get one in my favorite color! Already dropped my phone a few times and there's not a scratch on it.
