The defender series for the iPhones have been pretty pricey but this is worth the money. Secures the phone with a joined faceplate and even cover to the home button so dirt doesn't get under and full water tight seal ( haven't tested underwater though ). Very pleased.

Brought this protective case to France, and it protected our iPhone with exceptional effectiveness. Lot's of packing and unpacking and jostling, back pocket carrying, dropping, and being sat upon. There were no problems with the phone encased quite nicely in pink.

Bought this case for my wife and she loves it. It has a cool look and strong defense against drops and accidents. Protect your investment with a strong case. It isn't too bulky, and it feels substantial in your hand. Add some protection with this Otterbox case.

After having to replace 2 previous screens that shattered, the Otter box is by far paid for itself! Without interfering with the screen size or sensitivity, I would use no other than the Otter box for protection. Seems even less bulky than the iPhone 5 case.

THis case is much less bulky than defenders of the past. It is stil much heavier and bulky than the commuter and symmetry. I purchased a commuter and symmetry before deciding on the defender. Both commuter and sym while provided good protection were far to slippery in hand. The defender is easy to hold on to and holds up great to drops. This review would be a 5 if the screen protector were more responsive (I removed mine and put on a glass shield, however once doing this it makes more sense to purchase a lifeproof when released). The only other so-so feature is the flimsy shield over the finger print scanner, but this is solved with a screen protector overall good product and great fit.

I was a little skeptical about this case at first because I don't like bulky stuff and I only saw it online. I decided to just go to the store and look at it in person. The case is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I figured I shelled out over $600 for a phone so what sense did it make to "protect" it with a $5 case. I dropped my purse at work and my phone rolled out and fell down an entire flight of stairs and then off the side and hit the bottom floor from 10 steps up and not a crack! The case had a few minor scratches, but my phone was completely undamaged. I absolutely love this case! I'm so satisfied with it I bought my mom the purple and gray for Mother's Day. Worth every penny!

I only purchased the Otterbox Defender because I needed a durable outer clip, and Lifeproof did not currently offer a durable option for my Lifeproof Fre on iPhone 6. The actual Otterbox case was so bulky and heavy that it just wasn't practical. However, I pleasantly discored that the clip case fit my Lifeproof Fre case. My case is not nearly as thick, but fit well edge to edge and in all 4 corners, and also locks in pretty tight with the clip mechanism. It does leave a slight mark along the edge rubber of the Fre, but negligible. Would I keep it that way for extended lengths of time? Quite possibly, but I might be a little wary during high impact physical exercise or heavy duty work. **On a side note: It is my understanding that Lifeproof will or has come out with a better clip-style accessory for their cases on iPhone 6.

Each iPhone I've had, I always get an Otterbox. I like having the security of knowing my phone is protected from scratches to the screen and from drops. I know it's protected because I have dropped it more than once, and my phone still looks brand new!

Got this as a last minute case for my iPhone just to protect it until i find one I like, so far this is a solid case, it is bulky like any other overall protective case but it gets the job done which is what i need. If you're looking for a slim protective case than this isn't the one for you.

I got an OtterBox because my new iPhone 6 just felt too slippery and I was afraid of dropping it. The OtterBox makes the phone thicker and easier to hold but is not as thick as previous OtterBoxes (which is good!). When I bought this I didn't even realize I was getting a clip that the OtterBox easily snaps into for use when walking or exercising. I use the clip almost every day and it securely holds the phone and OtterBox to my waistband. The only possible problem with my new OtterBox is that my phone seems a little less able to recognize my fingerprint for unlocking purposes. To be honest, I had some problems even before I put the case on so it could be my imagination that it is more difficult now. But the protective screen over my phone's screen is very sensitive to my touch and works just fine. All in all, this OtterBox is great! The blue color combination is very nice.

Have this case on another phone that has been dropped and all sorts of things spilled or splashed onto it. Phone works perfectly like the "event" never happened.. Will only buy this style case for my phones. Field tested and passed with flying colors!

I probably would not opt for the full screen protection, but I have young kids. This case provides maximum protection and does not interrupt the viewing. Some clarity lost, but not enough to really notice. Sound is good and access to ports is convenient.

This is a really good case for my phone. I like the way it fits and the nonslip feel. It was very easy to put on my phone, I had no problem at all. The color is very nice and easy to see when looking for it. I would recommend this phone case to all my friends. Great case I really like it.

I love that it protects my investment if you need a good protection for your iPhone this will be a good case. It's a little bulky and comes with a clip too. Plus otterbox has a good warranty with their products to provide excellent customer service.

The case fits the phone well and does a pretty good job of cushioning falls. The ringer shutoff switch is well protected, but difficult to access without long fingernails. The phone stays in the clip well, so long as you don't accidentally catch your shirt when you put it in the clip.

The case gives excellent protection to the whole phone however it is a little bulky. The new iPhone 6 is somewhat bigger already and with this case there is no way it fits just in any pocket. Must use the belt clip which comes with the case. It takes a little getting used to but works fine.

I bought this case since I had one on my iphone 4 before, and I liked the old one, but the new one is even a little better. The flaps covering the jacks and chargers are easy to operate, and it seems to stay sealed pretty well. It will keep your phone looking brand new for a long time.

Obviously, otter box cases speak for them selves. This defender series case is an excellent protection case for my iPhone. Drops that will happen are protected without worry. Also, the design is a nice new feature I've never seen from otter box.

It's nice to finally see a stylish otterbox case for the iPhone. Received many compliments on it. Protects my phone well. Only complaint is the fingerprint sensor is intermittent due to the way the case protrudes slightly above the home button.

I was lucky enough to find the updated version of this case in store. The port covers are now in the appropriate place which is nice but I am not a huge fan of the screen protector. I took that off and just added a glass one. Overall, great case for the protection it offers.
